I flashed Energy Rom to my Touch Pro first. After this I flashed another rom and everything was fine. Then I flashed back to Energy Rom and now my touch screen didn´t respond to touch.... So I just wonder if someone could help and tell how I get it working again??? Screen shows everything and qwerty is working fine.
Have you tried an hard reset ?
Moved as not ROM *Development*
Try hard reset, if not working flash stock ROM to test if hardware.
ok
So I Hard reset first. If it doesn´t work I put back stock rom. and do I hard reset stock rom after installation? well I try and reply after I have tried.. thanks.
didn´t work... any other ideas???
the stock rom is same. touch screen doesn´t work though the picture comes.
I faced same problem after endless flashing different ROM, stock Rom no improvment.
Went to HTC service center & they said moatherboard is gone have to replace it.
I have an LG P920 and after I tried out the official 4.04 (installed with LG flashtools) and after the upgrade (which was a success) my touch screen is not working.
I tried the following instructions:

I eve tried this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1629307
It is common that I was able to do the recoveries as they are in the guides, so all three recovery attempts was successful, but after the first boot the touchscreen was not working with any version. For the last time I used LG Mobile Phone Update tool and used phone recovery mode to get back the official SW version for my IMEI. The process was a success, my phone recovered to the original SW version, but the touch screen is still not working.
If someone has an idea what to do or try it, it would be highly appreciated.
MOD: because there is no answer yet I just ask: it is possible that some software elements which are not part of the upgrading or recovering image is the reason why my touch screen is not working? For example the bootloader or the recovery or fastboot, or anything? Maybe there is a part of the phone which is not recovered properly, but I just guessing.

Re:
I tried out latest CM10 with ICS bootloader and recovery, the installation was a success, the CM10 boots up fine, but the touchscreen is still not working...
I really exhausted all my options, did all the recovery and resurrection guides, all of it was a success but my touch screen is still not working.

Your display isn't working whatever you do, right?
Maybe it's the obvious.
I mean if all of your flashing was a success than there must be a hardware problem.
I hope I'm wrong...
Try ressurection guide to go back to GB and if that doesn't work...
Money=new display

The cheapest digitizer on ebay is 17$ so it's not that much as a last resort.

I'am doing it the second time but now after successfully flashing V21E and after that using V21E recovery (as in the guide) I got constant bootloop (LG logo), and I cannot get it out from bootloop with flashing the same V21E to it the third and forth time. I know bootloop means reflash the device but I don't think this is going to solve the problem.
Factory reset.

Did that too still bootlooping.
MOD: I did everything according to your guide, all of the steps were done successfully, but after it, there is only bootloop and the recovery is not accessible either.
MOD2: it is interesting because I tried to install several GB versions beside the v21E and it seems all of it has the same bootloop issue after flashing. If I put up an ICS variant like CM10 or one of the official roms (with ICS bootloader) they all boot up but the touchscreen is not working even with the official ROMs.

Here I have the same problem. No touch screen on ICS.
To downgrade to GB I had to flash a corean froyo v10g .bat first. For example w.ww.wuala.com/Xafalo/LG%20P92...est%20Bin.rar
After I flashed v21e, all OK.
I updated with the oficial LG software and all was successful to install ICS, but my touch screen is not working...
Additionaly, in the TWRP recovery on ICS bootloader, the touch screen is not working
Josemi
simply a duplicate touch change your touch....
I have identical problem. No touch screen. I try a new glass digitizer touch screen, but no work. My lg is not for sale

Which rom did u flash. Try flashing stock using it for some time and then reflashing the other rom. N follow all instructions properly. And random reboots may happen sometimes bcos of too many apps r evn battery problems.
RECENTLY I STARTED HAVING BATTERY PROBLEMS WITH MY SAMSUNG GALAXY S DUOS
I LOOKED UP ON THE WEB AND SAW THAT CUSTOM ROOM'S MAY SOLVE MY PROBLEMS
I INSTALLED A CYANOGEN OS BUT STILL THE BATTERY PROBLEM PERSISTED
THEN I BOUGHT A NEW CHARGER
IT SEEMED THAT THE NEW CHARGER SOLVED MY PROBLEM
SO I DECIDED TO SWITCH BACK TO MY STOCK FIRMWARE
I THOUGHT THAT WHY NOT TRY STOCK FIRMWARE OF ANOTHER DEVICE
BUT BY DOING THIS I ENDED UP WITH THE-->>"FIRMWARE UPGRADE ENCOUNTERED AN ISSUE. PLEASE" ... BLAH... BLAH... BLAH
THEN I DOWNLOADED STOCK FIRMWARE FOR MY DEVICE ONLY AND FLASHED IT
IT GOT RUNNING
BUT AFTER A FEW DAYS I GOT BORED WITH THE LAGGY STOCK FIRMWARE
SO I SEARCHED XDA FOR ANOTHER CUSTOM ROM FOR GT-S7562
I DECIDED TO FLASH THE PMP LIGHT ROM ESPECIALLY MADE FOR GT-S7562
BUT AFTER FLASHING IT I HAD GSM CONNECTION PROBLEMS
SO BACK TO STOCK ROM AGAIN
BUT THIS TIME WHEN I FLASHED THE STOCK ROM IT GOT STUCK AT THE SAMSUNG LOGO
I COULDN'T GO INTO RECOVERY MODE THEN
SO I CORRUPTED THE DEVICE AGAIN AND INSTALLED THE STOCK FIRMWARE
BUT AGAIN BOOT LOOP NO BOOT SOUND AND NO RECOVERY
I TRIED MANY THREADS
I TRIED http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2426426
I TRIED http://forum.xda-developers.com/s7562/general/troubleshoot-pit-file-baseband-files-t3246791
AND MORE AND MORE THAN THE NUMBER OF NERVE CELLS IN MY BODY
SO...
PLEASE ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED
I WROTE THIS WHOLE THREAD WHILE CRYING:crying::crying::crying:
hey download stock rom files alone ..... like pit and csc etc ....
and flsah them this will work
i'm very bad in english ...sorry :silly:

didn't work !!
I installed a custom rom onto my G920R4 (uscellular s6) and I finally got it to boot. However, the touchscreen does not respond to touch, even though it works in TWRP. I've tried installing a stock ROM, which didn't work due to my own ineptitude, but I'd rather keep my custom ROM anyways. This problem persists across multiple ROMs as well. Thanks for the help.

Greetings ans welcome to assist. The touchscreen works in recovery but doesn't what you install a stock rom ? If it works in recovery then it must be either a kernel or bootloader issue. Have you tried factory resetting the phone and then installing stock rom again
Good Luck
