Where do the deleted items go?

Hi,
i was wondering where the deleted contacts, messages and other files go in Windows Mobile Smarphone.
Do they have a recycle bin similar to desktops?
I guess they go straight to heaven I haven't read about temporary bin or something..
Contacts simply disappear I think , but messages have a Trash folder. On Inbox, press right Softkey, choose "6 Folders", and there choose "Deleted Items"
Hi biktor_gj,
You are right. deleted messages (outlook and text) are stored in there.
Contacts.. and other files from folders ?????
They are removed completely, you *might* be able to find remnants inside the registry, depending on what application you used to delete them with.

Message and alarm alerts!!!!!!

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to put your own alerts on for messages and alarms? I have done it for ringtones, but for the life of me I can't get it on for messages and alarms?
You can use ringdroid. It allow you to cut some mp3 for example and when you save it ask you how do you want to use the ring (alarm, rington...etc)
It's the same if you save the file without any cut
If you dont want to use a third party app, you can load the MP3's into the following folders in the following path:
SD Card/media/audio/ ....
Inside "audio" there should be: alarms, notifications and ringtones.
If you use an app like OF File Manager, you have to restart your phone. If you load it from your comp once the SD Card is mounted, it should show up.

[App] Control your Droid from your Browser with SnapPea Web

We're testing SnapPea Web and we'd love feedback from the XDA community! It's a companion to your Android phone that lets you send messages, browse photos, and manage apps from your browser.
START TESTING: web.snappea.com
It's simple by design. There are other products with more features, but for SnapPea Web we decided to focus on only the most frequently used features for most Android users.
Here's what it does:
* Photos - Browse, download, upload, and delete photos
* Messages - Send and receive text messages, synced with your own phone number
* Contacts - Add, edit, and delete contacts
* Apps - Install, uninstall, and browse your apps
It's perfect for those times when you're at your computer and don't want to interrupt your workflow. For Devs, it lets you install APK files over the air.
SnapPea Web connects to your computer via Wi-Fi LAN, so it's also very fast.

adding notification sounds for apps - help

I have copied over the appropriate .wav, .mp3 and .ogg files into every folder I can think of to get the sounds I'm used to for apps like messenger, email, calendar, etc. I've put them in the notifications, alarms and ringtones folders. As such I actually see 3 entries for the same sound when, for instance, I go to set the default ringtone, or 2 entries when I go to set the 'default notification sound'.
HOWEVER, I cannot seem to get these to appear in the IN APP list of available sounds for notifications in the built-in mail app, calendar app, etc. It's still the stock list that came with the phone.
Any help here?
Thanks,
- Steve
