Since the new Sensation Ice Cream Sandwich Sense ROM was released all the threads are getting flooded, a lot with the same questions, so i thought id collect fixes for some of the common problems here. hope you find this useful. feel free to tell me if something is wrong and shouldnt be here!

Fixes
[03Apr]Clock / Weather App only showing country and not current location
Go to Settings>Apps>All and try clearing data for Clock Widget, Google Maps, Weather, HTC Weather Sync provider and Weather Provider.
Finally, refresh the widget and hopefully that will solve your problem.

[08Mar]Long Camera Picture Image Names
On some ICS ROMs the images file names are kinda long and weird: IMAG0207-1330595925228.jpg
If you navigate to data/data/com.android.camera/shared prefs you'll see a file named com.android.camera_preferences.xml.
In this file you can adjust some setting and in oneder to have the correct file naming back I needed to change the numbers in line: <string name="counter_imagefolder">225</string>.
Adjust this, reboot and the filenames became normal again.

[30Jan]USB Disk Mode = Sense Crash
If you using the phone in usb disk mode and keep getting sense crashing and restarting, Go to settings>apps>On SD card and untick everything there. Having apps on the sd card is forcing sense to close. Thanks to joaquinfernandezcarvajal for the fix.
Further to this Jonny has found another fix, if you downgrade Rosie.apk file to the one from 3.12.401 base and the issues are gone. Get a flashable version HERE.
[28Jan]Ringtones dont stick on reboot
If your having problems with ringtones sticking on reboot, seems to be especially a problem for custom ringtones, create a new soundset with the ringtone in and that will sort it for ya thanks to malybru for the fix.

[25Jan]ROM Based on android 4.0.3 Wont Boot Ever
Make sure you've flashed the latest firmware and HBOOT (1.23) this is required for the latest Android version ROMs to function. I highly recommend you make your phone superCID to save you getting half way through the update and being warned "incorrect CID / MID" See Mike1986's firmware thread HERE. For more info see start of this post. If your using a Sense 3.6 based rom you'll need the latest firmware which is based on HBOOT 1.27. Have a good read of Mike's thread for info.

If your fed up with the disco effect of the new browser included in Sense 3.6 check This Post out for a fix. Its basically downgrading the browser to fix. I'll make a flashable version a little later. Thanks to rddocke for the fix and thanks for joaquinfernandezcarvajal for finding the post for me!

[25Jan]Update - Firmware
Yes more firmware is out for the newest leak which is again based on Android 4.0.3 but this time its Sense 3.6. The latest firmware package is required for Sense 3.6 ROMs to work, if you dont have it, it wont boot! check out Mike's Firmware thread for this new firmware based on HBOOT 1.27.
So in Summary:
Android 4.0.1 ROMs need HBOOT 1.20
Android 4.0.3 Sense 3.5 ROMs need HBOOT 1.23 (firmware package 3.12)
Android 4.0.3 Sense 3.6 ROMs need HBOOT 1.27 (firmware package 3.24)
Note its not just HBOOT thats updated in the firmware.
Hope this makes sense, please feel free to ask if your not sure. a lot of into there!
For the love of god check MD5's of the firmware before flashing!!
[10Jan]Wi-Fi Teather Doesnt Work
This is a work around to get the function working.
Downloaded barnacle wifi tether from the market, go into settings and select skip wpa_supplicant. This should then let it work. Thanks to coolkid893 for the fix. Seems to only work as ad-hoc..
[09Jan]Help my HBOOT says **Locked** when I updated to the new firmware
Ignore it, its fine, your still S-off and the bootloader is still unlocked. The only thing thats locked with the new firmware is the ability to perform advanced fastboot commands so flashing splash screens, pushing a radio. It wont affect most normal users, so no need to worry
[09Jan]T-MobileUS Wi-fi Calling Patch
Patch to fix wi-fi calling for T-mobile customers. Zip is for ARHD ROM but there are instructions in the post for how to make it for other roms. Thanks to casper200519 for creating this fix.

[09Jan]Wi-Fi Sleep Policy
Seems to be a bug where the Wi-Fi sleep policy settings are reversed. Selecting "Never" sets you to "Always", selecting "Always" sets you to "Never". No fix for this but something to be aware of. Thanks to PaulGiz for pointing this out. This doesnt seem to be the case for French phones. thanks yepayepa for the extra info on this.
[09Jan]Turning on Wi-Fi gives an error after flashing hacked Kernel
This seems to happen if you flash the 4.0.1 kernel on a 4.0.3 ROM, make sure you've flashed the correct kernel for your ROM base and cleared both cache and dalivk after flashing.
[07Jan]Update - Firmware
New android leak 4.0.3 is now on the forums. Along with this there is a new firmware (including hboot 1.23) and new radio (11.65.3504.00U_11.19.3504.29_2) you must have the new firmware package to use android 4.0.3 ROMs, if they wont boot thats your problem. All other info above still stands, just a newer hboot and radio.
If you dont want to be SuperCID flash Mike's Latest ICS Firmware (No need to SuperCID)<-- that package allows most CIDs to flash without having to Super CID your phone. Big thanks to Kohr-Ah for putting together the huge list!

[04Jan]General Speed / FC Fix
In the leaked RUU was other firmware for various phone partitions which after flashing has been reported that it improves general phone speed and stability. The firmware was extracted form the RUU and uploaded HERE. thanks to Mike1986 for this. The firmware here will also update your radio to the latest (11.59.3504.00U_11.16.3504.16) you will need to be superCID to flash this so make sure you are first. Info on how to superCID HERE. Please read through the thread to make sure you unerstand whats your flashing and ask if u dont know before u flash. This will update your HBOOT to 1.20 and it will read "locked" on the HBOOT screen but panic not, your still S-off, you just wont be able to use advanced fastboot commands unless u downgrade to HBOOT 1.17 HERE, however HBOOT 1.20 is needed for stable use of the latest radio. This is a onetime thing, you can flash and thats it, changing ROM wont change the firmware.

This seems to be a bug where all carrier info on first boot is blank.
If you click to select the text will become visible, you'll have to click each to find your carrier.
[30Dec]Fix Unable to set wallpaper / find photos in gallery
to fix this do the following:
1) boot into recovery
2) go to tools and do fix permissions
3) again in tools select file system check
(Note this is using 4ext recovery - not sure how to do it in CWM)
reboot and that should fix it..
4) if you still have problems try updating the super user bineries in the SU app under settings.
5) still having problems reboot into recovery and try another fix permissions
6) still problems, clear data for music and galery in app manager.
7) still not getting anywhere install 3D Gallery from the market, this has solved it for some. Thanks for deem1 for the tip.

2) long press the pic you want for the back ground and set it to wallpaper

[30Dec]General SD card problems
If your getting general slow SD card, issues with content on there being read, backup the importent stuff like photos etc and format SD card, seems the old android files on SD card may be messing things up. thanks orihuri for the tip.
If this didnt help and your still having prolems with slow SD card speeds download sd booster from the market and set the cache to 3000+ thanks to lws803 for the tip.
[30Dec]Wallpaper FC loop
It happens when you place a 3rd party app on the bottom dock. The Wallpaper that force closing is the lock screen, if you change to the weather lockscreen that will start FCing as well. Unfortunately, I don't know of a way to fix it, only how to prevent it.

Only found a fix for TMobile people now but i'll have a look at whats done and see if i can make a flashable zip for all.
See HERE thanks to Ducter for figuring this out.
To use, go to the market and download APN Back up restore, create a folder on your sd called ApnBackupRestore exactly as typed. Unzip the attached xml into that directory, start the app and delete apns, then restore using the one provided, reboot and enjoy MMS, sometimes it may take like a minute to send, but it does.

These are bugs I cant find a fix for yet:
- Something still up with Wi-Fi some not getting any signal
- issues with gallery for some even with all tips above
- music player FC'ing for some <--Fixed in Sense 3.6
- Going into security in settings give FC <--Fixed in Sense 3.6
- Small MMS
- UOT Kitchen mods dont work and the kitchen cant cook new ones (yet)
- Bluetooth Won't allow PAB Access, nor prompt for it, generally seems to be a bit hit and miss
- Browser Bookmarks do not work - Causes FC.
- Bookmark widget has bookmarks but will not create thumbnails
- Cant add app through personalize app, work around by using long press from app draw.
- Wi-Fi hotspot doesnt work, will turn on but thats it, wont give IP address to clients.
- Premium Navigation doesnt work.
- Exchange sync for hotmail (and maybe others) doesnt keep some custom settings e.g update schedule and download past mail.
- Stock and 1.5GHz kernels both seem to be a tad buggy, some reboots. Seems to be mainly when CPU1 comes online when phone is really working hard! Maybe fixed in later hacked kernels.
-HTC Sync app is now present and some aspects work, but calender doesn't
- Error when restoring contacts from SD card "Failed to parse Vcard for unexpected reason(File ended during parsing BASE 64 binary)"
- When I try to take a photo with an effect, the camera takes the picture, but then FC's. And the picture doesn't get saved in the gallery.
- Skype doesnt work for video calling, you can see them but they get a green screen. Audio is fine.
- Blue Hue on Sense 3.6 using Acer manufactured screen. See HERE for info.
ICS Mods
Please note that Themes seem to be a bit picky, Android 4.0.1 will only work on 4.0.1. Android 4.0.3, Sense 3.5 will only work on that base. Sense 3.6 seems to again need something specific.

Ok This is a little mod myself and Mox123 have been working on to allow any ROM to be turned into AOSP, so you keep the rom you love but without all the HTC applications, its basically a way of de-sensing your ROM.
Once things are working fine and i understnad what goes with what im planning on making seperate packs so you can flash stock messaging app, or stock calendar etc etc.
Im not responsible if your house blows up, your cheese goes mouldy or anything else if you flash this..
Note this is only for use on ICS 4.0.3 Sense 3.6 builds, dont try and flash it on gingerbread or your phone wont boot and i wont be impreseed..

If you flash and dont like it, ive made a flashable zip to remove the mod and take you back to stock HTC ICS build {Coming Soon} for now if you want to remove the mod, reflash the original rom you were on when you applied the mod and it will remove it for u but keep your data.

The funny thing is that if I take a picture, that will show up just fine, but only that picture, none of the previous ones... ???

exactly what i had, the steps in the first post solved it for me but i had to do another fix permissions for some reason.
at least you know the SD card is working!

yes it will give stock launcher, i cant do any screen shots at the moment cos im at work, but it is just the normal ICS launcher, lockscreen is sense still.
there is a no sense script you can flash to remove all sense things, but i havent tested it on ICS yet..
i installed no-sense script after i installed your flash file]]and it works, the lock screen is changed to default android one
only thinkg i need now is the default ics camera and people app, anyway i can get this?

Sorry none work with UOT kitchen yet, the only thing that works is boot animations
i dont know how to complie apks so i dont know how to fix it

Vanilla ICS would be a plus Def don't like the phone and messaging app either. Also, thanks for verifying the gallery. Flashing now.

May be off topic, but, some of the games seem not to work on these leaked version of ics, like samurai vengeance, and shadowgun, both lately optimized for sensation, even tho I didn't try em with chainfire am afraid it may not work either, any word if chainfire works on sense ics?

Edit: This sucks. Did another full wipe and this time I even mounted system and data to no avail. ROM will not boot. Using 4ext recovery

How long did you leave it? Some boots can take 10 minutes. I personally haven't tested this myself so can't comment, but maybe someone else has had better luck...

5 minutes. In my years of flashing and developing very popular ROMS on the Samsung Captivate I have never had it get stuck this long

Man, are you crazy!!!... you did not even test the rom and you posted it. Your op was so promising, i thought everything is working spick n span as if it was freshly tested. Can't believe this, and you are asking us to check the build.prop. Lolz

I've just created this thread to merge all the goophone i5 information in just one post. This way it will be easier to all goophone i5 users to post doubts answers and eventual software updates/ROMS.
I've both of goophones (Y5 and I5) and i'm happy with them.
But there are some problems with goophone i5 stock software.
Problems detected on the stock rom that need a fix
- Can't recieve or send MMS. FIXED
- 3G network and Data Connection don't work. FIXED - See Below
- Google apps can be installed. Google play won't download apps (Error 906 - com.google.process.gapps stoped). FIXED - See Below
- Not all language strings are translated. English is ok.FIXED
- Some of stock apps are in Chinese (Weather, Maps, App Store) FIXED - Just delete the APKS from system/app
- Some apps are there just there to fill the launcher. They don't have any utility (Passbook, Games Center, etc). But they are removable in system/apps/ FIXED
- Can't delete contacts. You just can add or import existent Vcard. If you press cancel the apk will give you an error and crash. FIXED - Settings -> Email, Contacts, Calendar -> Delete All Contacts
- When you delete call history the apk will give you an error and crash. But the history will be deleted. FIXED
- When you change the language, the apk will give you an error. But the language will be changed. FIXED
- Poor contact image quality during phone call. The image is loaded but have a awful quality. FIXED
- When you recieve a message it will be kept on the lock screen, but it only shows the number not the name of the person who sent it to you. FIX NEEDED
- Sometimes when you slide it to silence using the Mute Button the software will get crazy and will change the profile from mute to sound in a loop. FIXED on the last ROM
- Can't do video calls. There is no option to make it and when you recieve one, the phone won't let you answer it and it will crash the phonecall.FIXED
Useful information about Goophone I5 Lite
Android Version: 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich
Access to the Factory Hardware test
- Power off the phone
- Press Power Button + Volume up [+]
This phone comes rooted from factory so, if you want to have access to the clockworkmod:
- Power off the phone
- Press Power Button + Volume down [-]
The clockworkmod is in chinese but is easy to understand.
1- Reboot System now
2- Install zip from sd card
3 - Wipe data / Factory Reset
4 - Wipe Cache
Last - Advanced (To wipe battery stats and dalvik cache)
How to change boot logo to Apple logo
Go to the system/media and you'll find 4 zip files with name bootanimation.zip, shutdownanimation.zip, bootanimationIphone.zip and shutdownanimationIphone.zip
Just rename the original ones to bootanimationGP.zip and shutdownanimationGP.zip and delete the word Iphone from the others.
Easy way: Make a phonecall to the number *#0066# and boot will be changed from goophone logo to apple logo
How to install google apps
Download and Unzip the file
Copy all the files from the folder to system/app/. Change the permissions following the next image:

- Download APN Manager Pro and Titanium Backup Pro (must be these)
- Set the apn manager pro as system app with titanium backup
- Open APN Manager Pro and insert you APN settings
- And that's it!
HOW TO FIX CARRIER SIGNAL ISSUE
- Find an oldphone at home,it does not matter the brand or model.
- Write down it IMEI.
- Replace your goophone imei with the old phone imei with mobile uncle tools.
- Reboot the phone
HOW TO FIX BLACK SCREEN ISSUE and increase Battery life
Open the build.prop file located inside system folder, scroll to the bottom and add this lines

Goophone I5 with H2000+ Rom

wow sounds great but I killed my pre-installed rom because of wrong SU-rooting...
I'm looking for a complete new rom which is fully Google-ready (GApps, Market,...).
Until now I have the rom from the H2000+ installed but there are problems with the WIFI & Bluetooth connection.
(more I didn't test for now)
So when I try to start one of them activating, the connection will try to do something... but the only thing what happens is that the LED-Flash starts to blink...
-> That means.... sh... I can't do anything...
I also tried to flash the H9300+ rom but nothing happens during boot -> also back for now to H2000+ waiting for a new Rom for I5.
Or has anybody an idea, which Phone has near the same components and an Android-Rom exists?

Regarding 3G: the phone supports wcdma 850/2100, maybe your carrier isn't compatible?

The goophone is exactly the same size that iphone 5, the color is exactly the same.
the zophone if i were you, i didn't buy it. It has a lot of problems. Some websites are considering about take it out of selling.
Be sure that you buy a goophone. Goophone I5 has more support. And it's better. It has problems on the software, but i hope that they develop a new rom soon in order to fix some bugs of it.
For the previous version (Goophone Y5) there are some ROMS that improved the phone performance. So i think that on this one there will be much more considering the hardware

You don't need that! just go to your external card and you will se a file named with goophone-i5-0107-f-001.zip.
That is the stock rom for you goophone i5.

Yes I have format my SD CARD:crying:.
I haven't access to the software. I can only enter on recovery mod or rebooting the phone, but after the swipe on the main screen, the phone is empty, without icon, only black screen.

All you need to do is to Wipe Data / Factory Reset and the stock software willl be replaced by your current rom.
Don't forget to wipe cache and dalvik cache after or before the data wipe.

Hi I'm back again...
Thank's all for the Help!
So I tried and tried and tried and at least I installed the Rom from the video at my second post of this thread.
I didn't really know where I could find the Rom (from the video and the orig one) because I had the same problem as tancrazio.
But when you watch the video and pause it when the guy selects the rom - just use google and search and you will find the Rom on some chinese sides.
(Orig: goophone-i5-0107-f-001.zip, Video: goophonei5-0123-f.zip).
Now... all is fine exept Calendar... This one crashes every time, when the system tries to sync it whith the Google-Account.
Maybe I'll deactivate the Loader and use Apex - the Def is sooooooo slow and Apex is much faster and you also have more settings for the Home-Screen.

I hope can help me. I have the zophone i5 and it will not let me get into recovery mode. I can get into the screen where it says recovery mode with the apply logo and it gets stuck and thats it.
Another issue was I thought it might have been the phone so I reset it via factory mode but it is the same and I have lost the apple unlock screen and the slide to power off. I have tried to find what add they were using on my phone but cant seem to find it, does anyone know what its called?

Yes the stock rom is halfe baked..but as goophone y5 there will be software updates and new roms...it's just a matter of time
The phone hardware is very good, the only cons that i've to make to this phone is the current software, but oh well, you know, wich phone does not have bugs when it is released?

As my next ROM will include a launcher where the icons of the apps can be replaced, here it is a compilation of iPhone icons with high resolution.
You can change the icons by pressing it until the cross to remove shows up.
Then just click it once. It will appear a menu that will allow you to change the title and icon of the app.

What do you mean by that? The setting still crash when you try to ad or edit the APN
Don't want to leave "empty handed", here are two things you might want to check out:
an English recovery mode and a slide to un(c)lock fix

Hi ColonelZAp.
That rom already bring installed all the apps that you need to fix your apn settings.
For that you just need another android phone with the same apks installed, then you just need to:
-Set up your apn settings on your android phone
- Use the APN backup & restore to get the XML file
- Copy that file to the folder ApnBackupRestore present on your SD card.
- Make APN Backup & Restore as System App with titanium backup
- Restore the APN settings
- And that's it.
I've tried this on a few phones and it worked on all.
On my personal goophone i5 i already have 3G network Fixed.
About the lockscreen this ROM comes already with that bug fixed.

IF you have a problem with wifi and SIM connection maybe you don't have a genuine goophone.
If it don't work you have a different firmware, so, this rom will not work on your phone.
This ROM is just for Goophone I5 and not for other copies like Zophone, Hero, etc.

Hello there,
I have recently purchased a Goophone I5 but it came with Chinese stuff. Is there a step by step instruction for first flashing the CWM. I would also need step by step instructions for the Gi5 ROM v1.0. I'm a novice and following the instructions above I keep getting an error message as follows "E: signature verification failed", and "Installation aborted". This happens with both the zip files that I have downloaded from the links in your post. Please help. Thanks.

Hi, the recovery.img does not seem to work for me, any help?
The apn xml file that APN Backup & Restore creates, does it have to be for the same carrier we use?
I'd like to know because my beddeh has an android phone that he agreed to let me use to create a backup file, however, he uses another carrier and not Rogers. Will this matter, or will it still work?
Can't " install " ROM

I just bought a Goophone i5. Seems great for the moment, except chinese aps of course. Want to remove them, found this post. I dowloaded the ROM in the link above, put it on the phone (using usb storage). Rebooted the phone in recovery mode as explained (power button + Vol - button).
I can see the options & navigate in them, but i can't choose any of them ! I tried using mute/unmute, power button, and home button. Nothing is working. How can i proceed please ? Thx in advance for you help.
Edit : Ok i found it, you have to slide right to left on the bottom screen (seems logic when you know it ^_^)

I wrote a lengthy reply to your post as soon as I saw your quandary but it got lost as I was logged out (or timed out).
I was (and still am) in the same boat a couple of days back and I'm glad you were able to figure out. I figured this out by accident and it was the only aha moment from the time I got this phone.
I definitely don't want to discourage you but I want to share with you that this moment of joy was short lived. The zip files (neither the ROM or the CWM) did not install. They both failed due to some signature verification error and the install aborted. If you make progress, please share with me on this site as to how you accomplished it. If I figure it out I'll share it here for others in a similar situation.

Good news ! I finally managed to solve this. The phone was in fact not rooted at all ! I followed some steps on a youtube channel, search for the user named mayiandjay, watch the " How to root the Goophone i5! One click root! " (there are other usefull videos). Once it was fully rooted, i managed to install a new ROM i found in here (Goophone i5 ROM V1.0). Some bugs are fixed (but i still have the " slide to unclock " bug )
About the CMW, i did not used the one mayiandjay show in his video, because it's all in chinese, I used the CMW from ColonelZap (on the same thread of the ROM V1.0) using the way he (mayiandjay) mentioned (with m44toolbox) and it's working.
The only thing that's not working is the gps, can't get any signal ! Haven't found someone talking about that. Maybe it will be fixed later ?

The GPS sucks. I got at most one satellite. Google maps also cannot detect my location. Waiting for cm9 for this.

Thanks for the update and the helpful hints. I followed everything on Video by "MayiandJay" and my phone is definitely rooted. I even have SuperSU Pro v0.98 but I'm still having issues when I try to install the ROM from the recovery menu. I get a signature validation failure. What version of the recovery menu do you have? I think I have the stock version which does not have all the menu options that Manuxo and others have discussed here. I must have tried this a hundred different ways but in the end I come up with the same result. I even have the ROM Manager Premium installed as well.

I used the one in the link above, works fine. I replaced the original one using m44toolbox (explained on the youtube channel's guy). I had the same signature error message when i tried ton install roms. keep going, you'll find the way

Question 1) Is this Rom Rooted? I do not see SuperSU icon.
Answer: This ROM comes with another Super User software called "KINGROOT" and you will find KingUser icon in rom
Question 2) Icons Missing. After installing new Apps, I do not see new shortcut icons in Application Drawer. How to see them?
Answer: This is known minor issue of Trebuchet (The included Lollipop Launcher) The simple resolution is as follows.
Go to Settings >> All Apps >> Trebuchet >> Force Stop.
Now go back to Launcher and you will see all missing icons appeared.
Question 3) WhatsApp and other apps are not restoring data backup from previous rom. What to do?
This rom does not come with Swapped Memory Partitions. Hence copy WhatsApp folder from External SDCard to Phone Storage. Clear Data of Whatsapp from All Manager. Now it will recognize backup and will restore.
Question 4) Why Gmail and other Google apps are not syncing data?
This rom lacks GPS fix at this moment hence Google fails to get location. Just go in Settings and disable Location (GPS). Now GMail and other Google apps will start syncing
Question 5) Rarely or Occasionally Phone Network drops for few seconds.
Inherited Issue from CM 12.1. If this is just after Flashing rom then, simply Disable Location and Reboot. Otherwise just enable Airplane Mode and disable it. Network will be stable.
Question 6) GPS / NFC / FingerPrint is not working!
Yes I know! Wait for some time for the fix.

The port version of CM 12.1 I selected for Auxus Note does not have FingerPrint scanner feature. Hence it can not be added. NFC is disabled for some technical issues but I am sure you do not need both features for the sake of CyanogenMod 12.1 Porting CM for Dual Sim MediaTek devices is not easy task. It takes months of work hence I thought these are not worth wasting time which may delay project for another 2/3 months. Hope you understand. Thanks !
Question 7) After flashing your rom my IMEI numbers are lost and phone lost its network. How to restore my IMEI numbers of phone?
Due to mismatch in Radio files mismatched between the roms of two different chipsets, you may lose IMEI on some roms after flashing. Do not panic or worry, it can be restored easily. Remember for DUAL SIM phone you need to restore both IMEI numbers, which are found on your Invoice (Bill), Product Box or below Battery)
METHOD 1) Restore your own IMEI numbers with this amazing APP. Read warning carefully.
WARNING: DO NOT SHARE YOUR IMEI WITH ANYONE ELSE. Remember, using FALSE IMEI numbers is illegal in any country and it can put you in JAIL. These days they are tracing culprits for terrorism threats. So please use this app to restore your own IMEI only.

Restoring NVRAM BACKUP taken with MTKDROID TOOLS which you can flash with SPFT Flashing tool.
a) Watch this video to know how to take backup of NVRAM of a working STOCK ROM with the help of MTKDROID Tools. You must know that NVRAM backup file stores your own IMEI Number. Do Not share it with anyone else. They will restore their phone with your IMEI number and will put you in trouble.

b) When IMEI is lost flash this only single entry of NVRAM with SPFlash tools
WARNING: DO NOT SHARE YOUR NVRAM FILE WITH ANYONE ELSE. It stores your IMEI Number.

Question 8) Can I play heavy Games on this Rom? (Why some games run slow on this rom?)
The rom in optimized for less battery drain hence CPU is generally in PowerSave mode or Balanced Mode.
This setting is in Settings >>> Battery >>> Battery Mode >>> ???
Gamers should change Battery Mode to PERFORMANCE mode while playing games to get full power of CPU.
After playing games changing battery mode back to BALANCED mode or POWERSAVE mode will be best idea.
Question 9) Sometimes phone lags.
This is a known issue in Beta 12 (first release) still WIP. The quick workaround is reboot the phone in Recovery Mode and clear Dalvik Cache and Cache one a day in middle of a day.
Question 10) Sometime rare camera do not work. Camera keeps showing front camera and no option to change back to rare.
This is known issue and quick workaround is as follows.
Settings >>> Apps >>> All >>> Camera >>> Clear Data and Remove Battery then switch on. Camera should work now.
One more workaround is restart the phone but if still does not work then reboot the phone in Recovery Mode and clear Dalvik Cache and Cache one a day in middle of a day.
Question 11) Flash icon disappeared in camera and can not use flash.
Settings >>> Apps >>> All >>> Camera >>> Clear Data and Remove Battery then switch on. Camera should work now.
Question 12) Sometimes Network is dropped and does not comes back.
This is fixed in BETA 15 but if you still experience it just enable Airplace mode and again disable it. This may happen frequently in remote locations (rural areas or areas with weak network)
Question 13) Battery 1% problem . Battery was charged a lot, but after rebooting or returning from Recovery mode the battery started showing 1%.
This is known battery synchronization bug in previous version of Recovery. If you are on Version 2 of my TWRP 2.7.1.0 you may not have this problem.
But even if you are on latest recovery and you get this 1% battery issue, then do a simple solution.
Workaround (a) Connect Charging cable to charge phone, Power Off and Power On Normally without removing power cable. Works!
Workaround (b) If above does not work, then Start phone in recovery (twrp) mode, plug in power cable and keeping the power cable connected, restart the phone in normal mode (also called system mode, Reboot to System).
The phone will again show normal charged count. Usually doing this only one time should solve problem.

Changelog:
Memory Leak is fixed. Now Phone works smooth without any reboot required. Keep as many as apps in recent apps and still phone is faster and smoother.

Hi CMahendra,
thanks much for your work and efforts with this ROM. I do not mind NFC and fingerprint missing but GPS fix is a vital feature. When are you planning to fix GPS as for the moment this is a showstopper for this ROM?

Thanks a lot for your reply. GPS is important for me too. I am working on it. This is Beta Version and may have some minor bugs. Things will be all perfect when I will release final version.
BTW I am using it for business use and there is no other problem for me while using it. If it lags for some time, just restart and within 30 seconds phone will behave normal Could not work on it for few days due to main job. BTW I do not believe in declaring ETA. Thanks
I flashed lollipop os bt ma cel too heated & sometimes runnings very slow plzz halp me Mahendra Chavan sir i like too much this os bt sometimes faced this problem plz help
Rear camera is not working even after trying your workarounds... Also, what's up with home key? (I am talking about the one bellow the screen, not the onscreen one) It's not working, when u touch it, it vibrates, but doesn't do anything. Another thing is that when u reboot the phone, battery shows 1%, even when it's fully charged. Other than these things, the ROM is quite nice, but wouldn't recommend using it on daily bases.. At least until these bugs are fixed.
Thank you for the awesome rom and for your endless efforts. Downloaded the latest Beta 14 build and will report bug if any shows up.
14/2/16. Updated to latest Beta 15 build which is working great and memory leak isn't an issue anymore.

Camera works fine but sometimes it changes to front camera for which workaround is given.
Home key on navigation screen works perfect and homekey on phone is not working but both do same task so you can ignore all keys on phone hardware below.
Phone battery shows 1% because you have wrong version of Recovery installed. Read Thread and FAQ carefully.
I already mentioned rom is in beta stage and still work in progress. But I am using it as daily driver. Though Memory Leak (hangs after 4 hours) and GPS are only two known bugs with this rom. So wait for some time if you can not stay with these two.
No need to recommend this rom to anyone. If any courageous person want to try, he/she will do so on their own

Thanks a lot for response to this rom. I am using this rom as daily driver. Memory Leak (hangs after 4 hours) and GPS are only two known bugs with this rom and I am trying it to resolve asap. So please wait for some time. Thanks :good:

Heating while flashing is common issue and you can ignore it. Running slow sometimes is called Memory Leak and it happens after 3/5 hours of use. I am working on the issue. You can restart phone to make it smooth again. Please wait until next update.
Isn't there a way to fix the hardware home key? I mean, since we're all used to the resolution, the software keys are a bit annoying and personally i just disable them (why would u want buttons, that take extra screen space, when u have hardware buttons that do the same exact thing). Also, camera does not work even when given workarounds are used. Also, I forgot to mention, that I came from Elephone P2000 community, maybe that is causing the weird bugs?

Ok sir i am waiting
UPDATE: CM2ROM LOLLIPOP: I think the memory leak problem is almost solved. Now phone is not hanging and much more faster , responsive all the time and no reboot required. No slowdown so no reboot Still will do test for a day and will release a small patch, if successful.
EDIT: Real good results. Changes Confirmed. After 8 hrs of new changes in framework files and new init.d scripts, phone is super smooth and I have at least 25 apps in recent app. I am Not even deliberately trying to clear them .
*Using heavy apps alike FB , Messenger , WA Lollipop version, etc and no lags at all Releasing patch tonight or tomorrow morning
