Bootloader Unlock Volunteers (Test 2) $50 if works!

Hello,
Today I'm going to try test two of the bootloader unlock.
I'm not responsible if this hard-bricks your device, no don't blame me.
OK, so pm me please if you want to try it.
Only ONE person with 50+ posts or 10+ thanks may try it.
So post here first so that we can tell who will test it.

I kid I kid - good luck guys, this is my only phone right now so I will observe from afar!

I would be interested BUT would want to see what the scripts are first ..... I do not want to use something where the line is just changed to .ns..... Has this been looked at by other devs????? Could understand with the bounty if you want to keep things as hidden as you can lol.....

Concur with all.

I wouldnt mind giving it a go too almost. Got two phones un-activated. This and my Verizon Droid X2. Worse comes to worse I go back on that for a bit while I get another refurb right? lol. My question would be same as above me. Have any devs checked it out yet?

Whoa be careful there bro.since we still have a locked remote we can't go back to a channel once you skip it.

Haha well I definitely agree with A2 related/off topic. Works for me. I was thinking about something where we can all just literally talk. About whatever we want. Only because, sadly, I spend 60% of my day on XDA, and I like when there's something to talk about or someone to help. But PM's work for some of that so Its all good really. But all this ^^ is the A2 community. If that makes any sense Lol. Its 3 in the afternoon and I'm just waking up.

hahaha.. Im using a universal remote so it bypasses the stock remote PACman ROM here i come !!

yeah, xda has officially replaced tv series as my break time.. havent seen a single episode of Dexter or any other series this season :crying:

Man same here this xda stuff is damn addictive.
Whoa some time difference we have.it's almost 2 in the night over here.
I'm watching Dexter btw anyone sees this???

LOL.. i guess this has happened the second time now Man i'm waiting for my exams to get over, have made a pact with a friend.. though i think we might turn this weekend into a Dexter weekend ! :cyclops:

not your typical "so long G2x" thread

hey guys, just wanted to say thanks for all the help i've received and the knowledge and info i have picked up along the way. the G2x was my first android device and i have spent many a night reading through posts to find out what i needed. i hope i was able to give back a bit here.
i sold my G2x so i could get a Galaxy S III so i will be over in that section of the woods (and the xoom section)
hope the G2x gets CM10 soon. i was going to wait and see when that came out but had to pull the trigger on the S3 before the deal got away from me
again thanks to everyone here who has helped me learn about what these Android devices are all capable of! see ya around!

actually wanted the last nexus phone, but the new one has pretty close specs to the S3 but with no sd card slot and no removable battery, had to go with the S3 it was a no brainer

Another Farewell

Sup guys!
I recently just got my hands on a galaxy nexus and that means I have officially moved on from the A2. I've had great time while owning the phone for over a year. Thanks to all of the devs that committed their valuable time to keeping the A2 on par with the competition (software wise). I'll drop by the forums every once in a while to see how things are going. But sadly I won't be contributing anything more (not that I contributed much while i was here ). I had a great time here and wish you all luck on your future endeavours!

I usually wouldn't make a post like this but this has been by far the best community I have been a part of since having the EVO 4G a few years ago. I don't always post replies but I'm constantly reading the posts and all of the great advice and tips all have posted have been great. Also the amount of maturity and professionalism is top notch here as well! I hope to see you all on the ATT One forums in the near future!

Yeah - I've had a few different devices and been in a few diffeernt XDA forums and his one is pretty good.
We can thank developers like utkaar099, turge, scrosler, bpbear and rohan (amongst others) for taking the time to provide excellent support for the roms they create. Guys like exad and redpoint73 are also very patient and helpful in spreading their knowledge and advice.
Enjoy it while it lasts though - I think we might lose a few to the HTC One......

I have to agree . I thought those guys on the captivate and Atrix HD forums were good , but the guys on the one x forums have taught me so much , not to mention saved my phone twice !

OK I am having Happy Gilmore flashbacks. "I AM GOOD! You know what? You're a lousy kindergarten teacher! I seen those finger paintings you bring home and they SUCK!"
Alright seriously though, I have only kicked around the HP Touchpad and HOX xda forums and both of them are great. The TP dev'ing is slowing down just because its an older device but the thing didn't even come with Android so its a miracle that they even got it up and running. The fact that CM10.1 is currently semi usable is amazing.
For the HOX dev folk, its great(er). I have people ask me all the time what handy dandy new phone they should get but I keep telling them to get a last gen phone and come to XDA like I do. The HOX devs pump out so many great rom choices that can be used as (and are in my case) daily drivers. Sure I bounce around a bit but thats because I'm an unrepentant flash whore. With the inclusion of pie controls, ribbons and most recently HALO, the amount of customization is... alright I ran out of adjectives. Suffice it to say, THANK YOU dev community!

I can beat you all. I came from the htc vivid forums. Nuff said lol
