Thanks for your hard work here, good luck with all your future projects. Hope to see you there eventually. Also, first!
Looks like I'm joining you on the other side thanks to a nice statement credit courtesy of AT&T
Fare well Mikey, gl in the sgs2 world
Another one bites the dust, have fun with the S II.
Later and B y e .
Thanks for your roms. My cappy is awesome, thanks to you.

it wouldnt be hard to cross develop something you know...and im sure you can find plenty of testers...
but sad to see you go! drop in and spam our forum anytime!
Thanks for all you did for our Captivates, Mikey. Serendipity was the 1st ROM I flashed, and I kept with it all the way through S7. Best of luck with the SGS2...they're lucky to have you.
Thanks Mikey. Your awesome work is the reason I'm still keeping my captivate.
Your ROMs were Awesome! thanks!

agreed sorry to lose you.
would love to see you update this thread with a SGSII Review once you have had a good chance to settle in with it.
So glad you're joining the rest of use who have picked up an AT&T SGSII.
Serendipity is by far the Best and most stable... 6.4 was my first rom, and it was and still is flawless

I'll catch up with u over there sometime soon. That white one looks awesome.
I swore I'd never buy another samsung phone. But, if I can keep unlimited data, I'll be picking the S2 up tomorrow.
They should give Mikey free upgrades. He's a main reason I'm picking the S2 up as my next phone.

and biting sarcasm
My Galaxy S 2 got stolen recently. Luckily I got the AT&T version from the insurance.
I have had my Skyrocket for a week now. I use to have a Captivate. The Dev's and the community were fantastic. Here are my first impressions of the Dev's and community for the Skyrocket. Are you kidding me?! Really?! This is what I should expect?! Seriously, In the last week I have seen the Dev's, themers, and modders take a leaked ICS rom and turn into rooted, debloated, several roms, kernals, themes, tweaks and mods and more coming to fast to keep up with. Beyond amazing all of you! I'm in awe. And the community is awesome. I like my new phone. I love its new home. Thanks to all
Yeah, the devs around here really bust their asses. They deserve all the thanks, kudos, and brews they get.
I have to say, even looking in the T989 forum. so many less apps, and roms, and tips, and tweaks and other usefull stuff, and we basically have the same phone. I LOVE the skyrocket community.
Seems like a lot of x-cappy owners went with the rocket. You'll enjoy the crowd here. Welcome. Keep up if you can!

Former cappy user here too lol

The cappy is a good little phone. Just didn't have a flash for camera or a good gps. I still have 3 cappies "customized" for the ladies in the family. But, Daddy's got the Skyrocket
Welcome! I'm an ex-Cappy owner myself. Awesome development on that phone. I'd say at least 75% of Skyrocket owners on XDA upgraded from the Captivate.
I've been with the Skyrocket community here on XDA since right after the phone came out, and it took a long time to get where we are today. Those early days were slow with not much available, but things have really exploded recently, in awesome ways.
The Skyrocket community is one of the best you'll find anywhere on XDA. We have a couple of dedicated trolls, but they're actually just good people having fun (I'm looking at you nrm!!!). We're a good bunch. Again, welcome!

Right now without kernel source a port would be hard and it'll have to be cm9 more than likely..I've tried it and it's too complicated might as well wait til next month when Sammy drops stock ics and source
And cool let us know what he says

Dsexton sent me his sgs4g. I got it today. He surprised me by sending me the phone plus an sd card, and extra battery, and external battery charger, usb cable and some earbuds.
Just wanted to let everyone know. Thanks again Sexy Sexton.

YEAY!
dsexton got a gs3, and will be getting another sgs4g soon.
We're looking to expand the devices teamacid roms can be ported to.
I'm getting a couple different devices (sk4g and fascinate, to add to my sgs4g and at&t note), and other teamacid members also have different devices (t989, and some htc phones).
dsexton should post so we can all thank him!
That's great awesome news! No wonder why you have been a bit away FB and AOKP has been silent. Thanks dsexton!
Dsexton, post in this thread right now so we may shower you in our sweet, sweet thanks.

I'm new here, just thought I would say hello. The Galaxy S3 is my first real smart phone. Finally took the plunge when I thought they made a phone capable of keeping up with me. Sure am glad I did. I love this thing! Looking forward to learning from everyone here on the site.
welcome to the jungle!!! happy thanksgiving and enjoy your the toy...
Welcome
The Galaxy S III is also the first smartphone I've owned. Up until I retired recently I had to carry a Blackberry for work and I didn't really see the need for a personal smartphone. The S III is definitely a much, much different experience that the Blackberry and I'm very glad I decided I like the reviews and tried it.
I belong to quite a few forums, and I have to say this place is a jungle. This has to be the largest forum I've joined to date.
