Change.org Petition against Apple

Hello everyone,
If you don't know today is a bad day for Samsung Galaxy Nexus owners. If you haven't heard yet Apple Inc. won a preliminary ban against all Galaxy Nexus sales in the United States. This is bad for all things android and I have created a petition so hopefully all of you will sign it.
Also please share with your friends and family and everything else. Don't let this go unanswered.

Yeah I agree banning Nexus sales is a bad marketing move, But is this a petition to close Apple? If yes, then I would say just make a petition to unban Nexus sales rather than hit on Apple itself.

all it says is to stop filing stupid lawsuits and compete like companies really should so no its not a petition to close apple

I signed it. Its time for Apple to compete with innovative products rather than patent trolling companies to fight back.

Apple is doing its worst as always but i'm definitely surprised about the court's decision instead.

I'd sign it if it didn't read like it was written like an uneducated high schooler with no actual understanding of patent law or the actual case at hand. No offense OP but these petitions rarely accomplish anything, let alone when they are written like this. My advice is to read up and rewrite this from an intellectual and educated standpoint. Once again, no offense is intended.

It wasn't a worthless comment, it was meant to be constructive. Anybody in any position to do anything about this would laugh his ass off if he read that and there is no way in hell it would be taken seriously. I think it's cool that you want to be proactive here, but that petition with the way it was written is most definitely not the way to go about things.

Stop being soggy worms, people. It is a bad habit to discourage people who actually do something to fight for what they believe in--- and is symptomatic of malicious envy. Especially if helping the person doesn't make you lose anything.

Tvout/ics

Tv out control isnt built into any of sgs4g ics's...i have an ics tablet that has tvout always on...seems like an easy fix. But then again i havnt developed anything but a headache.
Is it possible to just change a 0 to a 1 somewhere?

Yes it is that damn hard to change the 1 to a 0. Because that is not all it takes.
If you think it is all it takes setup a build environment fix it and submit the changes to team acid. Otherwise STFU. There is more important things going on in the development then to turn on the tvout ability for you.

you must have not read the entire thread. So let me explain :
The guy said he doesn't have a clue in developing.
We explained him it's not that simple and that it's 'on the list'.
The guy complained again about not having this functionality.
The guy went into dev section ROM threads posting "your ROM is incomplete! it doesn't have TV-out!"
I have his trolls on both my latest ROM threads.
Next thing the guy says "I'll fix it myself" (in a childish manner) though he said he doesn't have a clue.
So who's trolling who ? my ETA request was a joke, in case you haven't realized it.
So please next time read the entire thread, otherwise you are trolling yourself.

And although you can't convey tone through an internet forum I was extremely surprised people took it that I was actually antisemitic.
Makes you wonder what kind of persona people garner about you from your posts. Anyway, PRbassplayer please continue to leave this up here for a little while longer. I didn't see the original post but I can tell you that a true apology doesn't have two paragraphs of preamble before it. You can explain he context behind what you did or you can offer an apology and hope everyone drops it, but you can't do both and mean it.

You didn't see the post, in this case the preamble is necessary.
It was four word sentence that I thought would be painfully obvious it was a joke. The fact that it wasn't seen as such shows that people need an explanation.
The context of the original post should have been enough to explain it away as a joke, but it clearly wasn't so I explained.
Please don't add some broad blanket statement about apologies. I am ACTUALLY sorry that people got offended and I also included a preamble that explains why those that flipped a **** made the same mistake I did. Seems logical to me

Because people were REALLY offended, and in lieu of not being able to see who it was a general apology/explanation was made. It's important that they see it. This is the Skyrocket General discussion, and people in this community were offended by what I said. Therefore yes, it does have to do with the Skyrocket community.
Do you go on Facebook / BBC News / Twitter and complain that not all the content is curated to your liking? Move along and stop reading it. This thread has been here for a few hours and I'm sure those who were upset have seen what I have to say. This thread will probably be locked soon. If they accept the apology or not, that's up to them.

Those sites are not content specific. BBC News might be, but Facebook and Twitter aren't specifically about issues and topics regarding the Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket now are they?
I doubt anyone was seriously as offended as you suggest. And if they were, you could handle that by speaking to those people personally, not making a post about your personal feelings in a forum about a cell phone.

True but Droid-Life obviously thought it was worth while to create a new article on it and iphone bashing aside, its actually an informative video on some of the S3 features. Iphone bashing old news, video is new material hence worth posting. Thanks OP

Good luck trying to convince iphone users that the S3 is better.. Ive even seen girls post that they got an S3 to hold them over til they got their iphone5 lol

Informative video, but a lot of those were based on opinion.
For example, the only way a larger screen is "better" is if you WANT the larger screen. If you only want a 4 inch screen, then to you, that 4 inch screen is "better."

Why are we even arguing over this anymore. Now that the iPhone hype is over and all the Apple BS washed over, cleary Android is the way to go. I do not even think Apple should be looked at as competition with Android. Every new iPhone just takes another step back when compared to Android devices. It is almost unfair to even compare top end Android devices to an iPhone.
I think Microsoft is going to be the next player to watch. Everyone that uses a Windows phone seems to love it. I just think there are not enough apps and developers on board yet for their OS.

Wtf, i have been the one praising samsung all the time and their TW. But if its found true i will have no respect for samsung.
