Yes I mentioned a religion. I'm an atheist with a Muslim father from Pakistan and a Christian mother from Sweden. I live in DC, going to a school with 20,000 kids from every religious, ethnic, and sexual background you can imagine.
I volunteer in the local emergency room which includes conversing with terminal patients about God, even though I don't believe in it. And actively support gay rights.

Just gotta say that when you're on the internet you gotta watch yourself cus any little thing can start a riot with that said glad you apologized (should probly have done it on the thread) but i think we all make racist jokess or jokes about religion considering the society and generation we live in it's not uncommon so even though i didn't get the context i didnt see a huge problem with it (my personal opinion) but i honetly think peopel in these forums are pretty extreme in all situations but glad you apologized

And although you can't convey tone through an internet forum I was extremely surprised people took it that I was actually antisemitic.

You didn't see the post, in this case the preamble is necessary.
It was four word sentence that I thought would be painfully obvious it was a joke. The fact that it wasn't seen as such shows that people need an explanation.
The context of the original post should have been enough to explain it away as a joke, but it clearly wasn't so I explained.
Please don't add some broad blanket statement about apologies. I am ACTUALLY sorry that people got offended and I also included a preamble that explains why those that flipped a **** made the same mistake I did. Seems logical to me

Because people were REALLY offended, and in lieu of not being able to see who it was a general apology/explanation was made. It's important that they see it. This is the Skyrocket General discussion, and people in this community were offended by what I said. Therefore yes, it does have to do with the Skyrocket community.
Do you go on Facebook / BBC News / Twitter and complain that not all the content is curated to your liking? Move along and stop reading it. This thread has been here for a few hours and I'm sure those who were upset have seen what I have to say. This thread will probably be locked soon. If they accept the apology or not, that's up to them.

I have seen a lot, and I mean a lot of threads turn into a flame fest immediately after the OP posts. People just want to contribute. Especially new members. Why is it so many of you feel the need to turn any thread you don't like into a total bash fest? REALLY?! I come here to see new things, learn a little, contribute and be informed... Instead I get to wade through a mound of worthless posts and constant thread resurrections. If you don't like it, don't post in it. Isn't that simple. Apparently not for a bunch of people. Why not spend your time contributing or not posting. It would make this place look and feel a lot more like a DEVELOPMENT FORUM than a kiddie pool. There is a general "talk about anything" thread already, so use it instead. Hopefully these words will sink in to a few of you. And don't flame this thread! I've been here longer and modded more than most of you so I feel I have the right to point out what a mess this place is becoming.

Some of it is just out of good clean fun and ball busting. I myself like to tease, kid around, and have fun. Most of the other people here do as well. Most stuff posted here isn't to be taken seriously. Although you are correct some of it does get a bit out of hand.
All the new topics in general of members telling us what to do and what not to do here is getting old. If a member has a problem with my comment I will tell them I was just kidding around. If they want to discuss a comment they can feel free to pm me and chat any time. But a mod nor a member here has never told me I acted out of line. One member snapped a bit until I told him I was just kidding and me and him are cool. Some people just have bad days and feel attacked.
In all honesty we are the calmest section on this board that I've seen. Everywhere else is 100x worse. We like to have fun here.

I have a problem with members making threads telling other members what to do, but I don't make a thread about it. Take offense? No, obviously though some people get offended easier than others.
My post today which has since been deleted was not meant to be trolling. In fact it was the first time i made a joke here at all.
I was trying to draw attention to a problem and it obviously worked.
Feel free to label me a troll if you wish but as far as i am concerned xda is not a trolling ground and i am far from it. Do i know how to push buttons? Yes but only when necessary.
Nrm and i did exchange a few cracks but as i said they were in jest.
So if my thread was seen as disruptive i apologize. I was just trying to help those like me who wanted to see a little change.

Same goes for you. You and I have no qualms and id love to see you jump in any future threads of mine (given they aren't development once i get there! LoL).
On one hand Im glad the mods cleaned up a bit. On the other i hope i didn't create a monster where no fun at all can be had. There needs to be a balance and a place. Only time will tell!
Regardless, as stated before i think our forum far surpasses others and Im glad to be here and can't wait to post some development! (a little trickier than i expected but Im slowly getting it)

That's why I report everything because 99.9% of everything about the skyrockets been covered and the things that haven't have a correct place I watched this place go from tight knit knowledgeable bunch to a circus of idiots that can't wipe their own butts and want us to fix their problems making no other contributions if you want my cred talk to those who know me M0d r4ins cdshepard mindmajick xcrazydx those are just a small few that know I've done a ton to help this community on aside from trolling

But back on track, to the op, ETA's for cm10 are unknown. They're currently working on getting the codebase stable, but once that's done second tier features like this one will be implemented

This was asked on my thread and the best answer is: it's up to you. If it's important to you, see if you can hack it out. Or try to get someone to work on it for you. And I used to give **** to illnevertell, who coincidentally is someone I'd call a friend now. Does he troll? yeah. Could it be called annoying to some? Sure, but he has a point and his hearts in the right place. As I've mentioned before, its like being a government employee; when you deal with assholes and morons all day long, you begin to think that everybody is one. Question after question that could be handled without wasting anyone's time gets annoying as well. I actually saw a thread begun a while back for a douche mad at XDA and everyone in it because the idiot asked a dumb question in a dumber way and got his panties all bunched up at some ribbing about it. I believe it was something to the effect of "I am going to tell everyone I know on the net to stay away from XDA". Seriously? This is supposed to be a learning and sharing forum, not ****ing tech support for morons who want a flashy phone without doing anything to earn it. Go on ****ing Craigslist and find one of those assholes who sell ROM flashing, ok?

Not sure exactly what this is. I just found it submitted to DevHost. It's the new radio for the skyrocket. just the radio. I looked around, didn't see anywhere else to get just the radio to flash over UCLF6. Note: This is not mine, And it has not been tested.

I can think of 3 reasons:
1) It's already posted in the sticky in this forum
2) I'm wary on anyone posting something in the Dev section and announcing that it's completely untested. There are exceptions, but those are usually reserved for known devs (in my mind)
3) There was no work done by the OP. He found something on dev-host and just posted it here (see #1).

Instead of arguing shouldn't we give our opinion how good is this modem. A lot people throughout the forum have concerns regarding the performance on the ROMs, which I think it has play fairly well in most of the ROMs I have tried. (Skyjb, slimbean, cm10, miui, orthus 7, xperianceAOKP with this modem.

That's not a bad idea. I know, I've been running it for a few days. I seem to get a bit better service then I did when I used UCLF6 and it like switches to WiFi a tad faster, if that's any correlation.
Don't try to ask a simple question on here unless you want to have your ass jumped. Some people are real assholes on here, and think they are better than everyone else.

No, don't ask a stupid question; the answer to which could have been found by searching unless you want to 'have your ass jumped'. There are some people who are overly hostile and don't really think before posting insults like that. Honestly though, having looked at your posts I get the feeling that you did something to induce hostile behaviour seeing as you were flamed for asking a question in a DEV thread (the clue's in the name of the DEVELOPMENT forum) and sent a PM by a mod.
The fact that you're creating a thread to whine about it really doesn't help your cause.

I will help you out mate, with almost everything, I'm a fairly new dev, so I dont have any rep here, but i setup the rooting package for LG L5 E-Series.
It's just that the devs have a hard ass time working stuff out, they need some time for themselves too.
There are some people who see a poorly worded question as an invite to bash.
But not everyone.
Just watch how you ask your question and make sure you've read back, and are in the correct forum.
There are many people out there who will help with anything. You just need to be polite when doing so.
Dumb question gets a dumb answer.

XDA is a developers forum that is to the point of almost being over run with people that are rude, lazy, ignorant, and with a false sense of entitlement.
