So with every daily build can I just flash it over the current so I don't have to redo my apps and layouts and stuff? Or will it be reset anyway

You can't really blame them as they've put up with people who thought they were too good for the rules for so damn long. We'll ignore the fact that when you first show up in the Infuse forums, there's a forum labeled Q&A. Common sense would dictate that maybe questions should go there.
So you already showed a lack of common sense by skipping over a forum plainly labeled Q&A for all the world to see. After running blindly past that forum you ended up here in the development section. I mean yeah you really shouldn't be tossing random questions here but I could see how it could confuse you, here you see TWO CM7 threads, wow you hit the jackpot!
But once again instead of taking a minute to check those posts out, instead of using the handy dandy search tool up there ^ and instead of at least posting in one of the other CM7 related threads, you decided to say **** IT to common sense and created a brand new thread for your question.
You aren't special, the question has been asked and answered elsewhere, go forth and find the answer you seek.

our devs who left left for a better phone with better software support that isn't held back by that carrier since it can have software ported from the international version but they each may build one last rom when att drops gb, mikey is still answering in his thread and he and gtg both indicated that they may give it one last shot when the official gb drops. also entropy is still here, though he also got a gs2.

I haven't seen this here. I'm wondering if anyone here knows about it. Either way, I hope it useful to someone. I have been using it for about a week. Its pretty stable. Go on over to http://rootzwiki.com/topic/18090-cyanogenmod9-for-o2x-and-g2x-selfkang3/ and check it out.

We all know about it. There are already 3 threads or something in General. There are also modded versions already in the dev section.

Um, Kind of why I never write things here. People are dicks on this board. Um, I was just trying to be helpful. But um, thanks for the unnecessary comment. Um, I'm sure there is a mod around who's job it is to decide if a post should be deleted or not. Um, I am also sure they are very capable of doing said job as well. Development section is for active developers of a ROM. Since we don't have RC participating here (he's on RootWiki) it doesn't belong on developer section.
The two developers that DO participate on XDA and have developed ICS based ROMs (HellFire and EagleBlood) have their own threads.

Can you help me understand why general, and not here?

Don't get discouraged bro. It's a reason why you can't post it here. 1. In dev section you change log, screen shot, disclaimers and on top of that you must be dev or have the dev permission. (to open a thread). In the general section is where you should have made this thread and it would be called a information thread. And it's 1 or 2 already made for arcee ics.

Also, the fact that you can't tell how much of a douche you are really concerns me. Yes, its people like you that ruin the experience of others. See info[]box1 @ 10:17. I have seen a lot, and I mean a lot of threads turn into a flame fest immediately after the OP posts. People just want to contribute. Especially new members. Why is it so many of you feel the need to turn any thread you don't like into a total bash fest? REALLY?! I come here to see new things, learn a little, contribute and be informed... Instead I get to wade through a mound of worthless posts and constant thread resurrections. If you don't like it, don't post in it. Isn't that simple. Apparently not for a bunch of people. Why not spend your time contributing or not posting. It would make this place look and feel a lot more like a DEVELOPMENT FORUM than a kiddie pool. There is a general "talk about anything" thread already, so use it instead. Hopefully these words will sink in to a few of you. And don't flame this thread! I've been here longer and modded more than most of you so I feel I have the right to point out what a mess this place is becoming.

Some of it is just out of good clean fun and ball busting. I myself like to tease, kid around, and have fun. Most of the other people here do as well. Most stuff posted here isn't to be taken seriously. Although you are correct some of it does get a bit out of hand.
All the new topics in general of members telling us what to do and what not to do here is getting old. If a member has a problem with my comment I will tell them I was just kidding around. If they want to discuss a comment they can feel free to pm me and chat any time. But a mod nor a member here has never told me I acted out of line. One member snapped a bit until I told him I was just kidding and me and him are cool. Some people just have bad days and feel attacked.
In all honesty we are the calmest section on this board that I've seen. Everywhere else is 100x worse. We like to have fun here.

I have a problem with members making threads telling other members what to do, but I don't make a thread about it. Take offense? No, obviously though some people get offended easier than others.

My post today which has since been deleted was not meant to be trolling. In fact it was the first time i made a joke here at all.
I was trying to draw attention to a problem and it obviously worked.
Feel free to label me a troll if you wish but as far as i am concerned xda is not a trolling ground and i am far from it. Do i know how to push buttons? Yes but only when necessary.
Nrm and i did exchange a few cracks but as i said they were in jest.
So if my thread was seen as disruptive i apologize. I was just trying to help those like me who wanted to see a little change.

Same goes for you. You and I have no qualms and id love to see you jump in any future threads of mine (given they aren't development once i get there! LoL).
On one hand Im glad the mods cleaned up a bit. On the other i hope i didn't create a monster where no fun at all can be had. There needs to be a balance and a place. Only time will tell!
Regardless, as stated before i think our forum far surpasses others and Im glad to be here and can't wait to post some development! (a little trickier than i expected but Im slowly getting it)

Hey just wondering if anyone knows when the cm10 camera will get the option to save to external? It seems like such a simple but useful option that they just left out which was on cm9 and i'm sure they will eventually include.

Seriously, I've never seen any comment you've made on XDA that adds value or benefit to any discussion. He should post in a CM thread with 1,000 replies so his question can get buried under half a dozen ongoing discussions in the thread? OP had a legitimate question so he posted in Q&A. But back on track, to the op, ETA's for cm10 are unknown. They're currently working on getting the codebase stable, but once that's done second tier features like this one will be implemented

This was asked on my thread and the best answer is: it's up to you. If it's important to you, see if you can hack it out. Or try to get someone to work on it for you. And I used to give **** to illnevertell, who coincidentally is someone I'd call a friend now. Does he troll? yeah. Could it be called annoying to some? Sure, but he has a point and his hearts in the right place. As I've mentioned before, its like being a government employee; when you deal with assholes and morons all day long, you begin to think that everybody is one. Question after question that could be handled without wasting anyone's time gets annoying as well. I actually saw a thread begun a while back for a douche mad at XDA and everyone in it because the idiot asked a dumb question in a dumber way and got his panties all bunched up at some ribbing about it. I am one of the testers for EdgeHoods new ROM: ENVY. Im writing this to give you all a heads up on how GREAT this rom is! I honestly believe it is the best rom i have tried..and i've tried a few already and just honestly its the best. Its snappy, fast and just all around great! Im getting unbelievable battery life...about 14-20 hours(depending on if i use my phone alot) on 1 charge while on wifi. Its really truly great and when the rom comes out for everyone i highly recommend that all try it and see for yourself. If any of the testers wanna post something go for it because i know you guys love it too! BE ENVIOUS!

What i dont get is why xda made it this confusing but hey stuff happens and i guess thats that...sorry for "spamming" the general threads..even tho i see others posting similar stuff like i posted mine but its watever i guess ill just post elsewhere next time..thnx for the heads up and ALMOST friendly advice :

Actually yes you got through a whole process while you sign up, hopefully you read that and the video of how not be a noob. We don't wanna say you are but like it causes problems on developers and the forums if we have constant clutter with all these types of threads that can be considered useless if there have already been solves threads of the same exact problem and such. I don't wanna sound mean but I don't really enforce this, this is just the way this site it. To be honest, I actually think we won't have much people on here if it weren't for one click roots and such meaning less noobs who end up having problem for their lack of rudimentary knowledge towards the android world.

He just wanted to post his thoughts on the beta builds of the ROM.
There may be another thread for it, but at some point we're all beginners and learning how to use a new system (forum system in this case). Let him get his post count up and if you don't like this thread or if you insist on complaining about this thread, just let it die out and don't post your complaints here.

I was never being an ass just stating something that xda expects of new users and problems that could possibly occur if things aren't read. You just need to get your things straight.

No, I am saying you all guys used be NOOB when we came to XDA forum to learn something new. Right? So Let's give OP a break and it's cool if someone want say it about the beta ROM. Nothing harm to anyone.
Please don't take this offense and I am not perfect grammar since my english is my secondary language.

Leave him alone guys lol, there really isn't any reason that this CAN'T be posted in General. If you think that it should be posted in the ROMs thread, that's fine, but there's no reason to team up on the poor guy about it.
I'm just glad someone's enjoying the ROM.
