Cf root is better and restores stock recovery back

you do not need CWM to root anymore just download the exploit patch and root with that it will root without a sweat in a few seconds

[Q] How to root JB without PC ?

How to root without using PC or flashing kernals ? in my SGS2 there is a zip that I can flash through stock recovery without having to flash unsecure kernal and CWM and then back to stock
with the last official update I've lost the root permission
so is it possible to have root installed through temporarily custom recovery via the stock one ? i.e without having to change anything in the rom except for root ?
thanks in advance .
Use ExynosAbuse.

yes , thanks alot
Just be aware that the new 4.1.2 JB official rom from Germany no longer allows you to use the exynos exploit. It's better to download the rom then install using Mobile ODIN. This allows you to tick ever root and keep root...

Getting OTA updates after Rooting

Well, this is My 1st post around
I got N8013 that have been rooted with CWM and flashed the rom with 4.1.1 Jellybean , since then I cant get the OTA updates
and the device is lagging wihile typing on S-NOTE app
any Suggest how to recover the tap to original statue to get OTA updates ? that may fix the S-Note problem
You could try 're-flashing' using Odin with the stock firmware downloaded from Samfirmware.
You might have to do a factory reset as well.
There is no OTA update available yet for the N8013

You will not get any OTA bec you have flashed a rom that does not belongs to your region so that wont work
No JB update for 8013 so just stick to what u are on and when the update is out just install that and your ota will start working
I have the update available on a stock 4.0.4 android gt n8013.
Had rooted through exynos without using the patch.
Device status is 'normal'. Can i just do OTA?

Deborah

Method Over and Over on the P3113 and it works every time with CWM Recovery 6. I'm pretty sure this will also work on the other 31XX variants
Looks like its been test and done well
my newly purchased P3113 was pre-installed with 4.1.1, rooted in less than 10 minutes (used the updated rooter zip), thanks!
Could be my ticket to root heaven...
