I am looking to see if any of the custom rom's have still have the ability to hard wire to network? I have tried BlackBean #6 and liked it till i plugged my network adapter in and it did not show up. Any pointer would be great.

This question has probably been asked a million times but i couldn't find an answer.
On my HTC Hero (android 2.1), there was an option to tether once you plugged the phone into your computer. This could also be used as a wireless receiver for a desktop computer lacking a wireless access card. I was using this as a last resort after losing dozens of Ethernet cables to vermin under the house. Basically the idea was: connect to your homes wireless router on the phone, then plug the phone into the usb slot of your computer and it would share that wifi connection with your computer. Recently I have switched over to the all powerful HTC HD2 and I am realizing there is no way to do this, that I can tell, with the stock phone. Is there something I'm missing?
I have tried using the Internet Sharing option, as well as the CMInternetSharing.cab I downloaded from you guys, and neither seem to bring this ability to the table. Is there an app out there that can solve this problem?
Ussually a Custom rom will fix this most have the Internet share or WiFi router but you need to HARDSPL your phone. also theres a way for you to do it just deleting your or editing your REGISTRY.

My Bluetooth will not correctly connect to my car. It will connect at first setup and will automatically connect the first day,but the 2nd day it will not connect at all. I will, turn off Bluetooth and turn back on and will not connect. I have to restart the phone for it to work. But then the next day it won't automatically connect again. My setup is mikg 2.5 and freedom v 0.8.5. It worked without the kernel change. Was wondering if it's the kernel or something else. I can't post on developer forum because don't have enough post. I have HTC evo 4g. I like the kernel because of overclock and voltage adjustment. Is there a fix? Please help!!!

I have the same problem even running the stock kernel. If I'm not mistaken, the kernel is what drives the BT, so I'm thinking it might be a problem with the rom itself. I haven't found a fix for it yet and don't know what else to do about it except flash another rom. If you have to keep sense I recommend SNS v1.6 and for AOSP either Deck's or Cyanogen. Both roms connect to BT much faster than MikG with the stock kernel, and I've experienced no reconnect issues since after a full week of use. Hope this helps.
So I have searched the net endlessly for a solution to hooking up a wired XBOX 360 controller to the EVO 3D but have had no luck. Many post say that only curtian Kernels work. Well I have done s-off, downgrades of hboots to get JB roms w/ attached kenels, all types of kernels with stick mounts (which do work for external storage ) but nothing works. I have also bought the power micro usb to female usb with female usb out to power source to power on the controller. All the videos on You Tube all have either a tablet or a S3 they are hooking up to. I have also trIed the Joy2touch app on Play but nothing recognizes the controller. So is it possible?I haven't seen anything other then a mouse and keyboard hooked up to one (which interest me none) I'm a gamer. I'm not a noob or anything but a break down of what steps you took would make it that much easier if you can. I'll be checking this thread daily as I have given up hope.
A BREAK DOWN OF WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I CONNECT THE 360 CONTROLLER:
I plug it all up with the charger before I plug into phone.
The light on the power button on controller stays lit.
I plug micro usb into phone and power botton light starts to blink but only blinks, not rapidly, just blinks every split second.
Stickmount cannot mount, Joy2Touch usb search no find, I even tried sixaxis app (knowing its not PS3), still nothing.
Running NegaBlueRom rl-106 w/ BigWilly ButterToast 1.72 kernel, but like i said, have tried ALL JB's out till this date and almost every ICS ROM
I have tried MAC, ButterToast, and all the kernels that come with every JB rom out not, yes I have flashed EVERY JB ROM. I'm on a mission lol.
Probably an old issue, but I have several Galaxys phone, all work okay with the various leads I have on the laptop I use, but.... my S7 doesn't. Standard stock rom, no mods. I've changed the developer setting, reset, rebooted, changed leads, changed laptops, changed phones... all to no avail..... No pop up, no recognition of it being a USB connection - but it charges via usb through any lead, any laptop.... just will not act as a USB device...
No changes made or happen to the laptop either - tried looking in device settings to see if it's there - nope!
Now I'm sure it used to work before Nougat update...so could this be the issue? UK Vodafone on Nougat 7.0.. any advice would be welcome!
I'm currently on a ROM based on 8.1 that doesn't appear to support multiple Bluetooth devices (Havoc ROM) For instance, I'm looking to connect my Gear S3 and car Bluetooth at the same time and it simply does not let me.
Rather than flashing back to stock to find out and being forced to redownload everything, can someone tell me if the latest release for OP6's stock ROM supports multiple devices being connected at the same time?
I know Android P will cure this, but I am curious if it can be done now.
Thank you guys! Loving this phone so far
