if you want to install the above mentioned update via recovery:
flash this h.t.t.p.s://docs.google.com/file/d/0B1xzf0v_NA-CRjEwMGtiMzRXd3c/edit?usp=sharing kernel first
(kernel is from a cn 4.2.2 rom ,thx toxiaoxiang8002 - h.t.t.p://bbs.gfan.com/ )
then boot into recovery and restor the backup without boot files
sry for my bad english
cu drop-zone
Still no RUU for the x920e anybody suggestions
Guys I need stock ruu 4.1 or 4.2 for X920E.
Still Didn't found one but you can try virtuous Rom from Droid DNA section I used Russian version and worked well except Bluetooth.

It finaly worked for me.
installed cwm 6027 (newer ones won't work) than made backup. Restart device. Searched the folder and placed your backup in this folder. Restart device in recovery and installed the the backup I've just placed in de backup folder. Then manually flash boot.img from the backup otherwise wifi won't work. After restart the phone has to do a smal update and after the small one the jb 4.2.2 update wil come up or search for update and everything will install. I am on stock 4.2.2 now and bootloader still open with Hboot 1.54 and runs fine now

Why you dont make a twrp backup instead of a cwm backup? To make a backup i recomand twrp had issues with cwm. Anyway if you did a backup with cwm try to restore bavkup, i had trouble with it.

In Darkroom V3 topic is "take a CWM BACKUP", so I did cwm backup Anyway I have TWRP backup so I'm safe
It isnt very important wich backup you do, you are saver with an twrp backup too much people have trouble with cwm backup

Restoring nandroid to get back to stock

I have been using android since a yr or more on my xu. I never created a nandroid coz sony fw was mere 300mb and i used flashtool to flash stock... bt I got a s2p now wid stock fw as large as 750mb which I cant download.
I want to try cm10.1 bt I have no stock rom flashable via odin
So if make a nandroid backup now.. so can I restore it to get back to stock when m on cm10.1?
you mean backup with cwm? yes. make backup, flash cm, if you do not like cm or somethin went wrong with installation restore the backup with cwm and you are back to stock. but do not delete the backup.
