Haha I know what you mean, but if the shoe fits..
I'll still see if I can find anything that could possibly help you out.
Edit: Did you try this to get it to stick? No guarantees.
First FLASH OC Addon ZIP in bootmenu
Open Terminal Emulator (download it from market/google play)
type the following
su then hit enter
Now to Load the Modules type these One line at a time
insmod /system/lib/modules/symsearch.ko
insmod /system/lib/modules/cpufreq_hotplugX.ko
insmod /system/lib/modules/cpu_control.ko
Now to the overclock..
echo 3 1200 1398 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu hit enter
^ for 1200 Overclock
echo 3 1125 1398 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu hit enter
^ for 1125Mhz Overclock
echo hotplugx > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor hit enter
Done
**NOTE: This will not stick through reboot,in order to get this to stick on boot you would need Smanager from market, its free. Download it ,create a new document on in system/data folder and paste the lines that you are typing above into a blank document, save it,rename it to overclock.sh. open smanager and hit "Browse as Root"and then locate that file, click on it,then hit the Skull and crossbones (SU) ,and then hit the crank (BOOT) then hit save and exit.***

Me too! Went down to the next version 1.20.1 worked well. You got to remember to convert to EXT4 before flash. Mount system. Boot up took a while. Almost panicked to pull battery lol. Web feels snappier, and speed test showed about 3mb faster. Gonna drain this battery to install full one to monitor battery. One boot.

By "program" do you mean the app? If not, download the app from the market (Play Store).
Or, just fix permissions in ROM Manager. Works every time for me.
That's the issue I'm having is that rom manager/cwm isn't fixing permissions

just a quick edit:
when i do go into busybox its the free version and it says "BusyBox null is installed" then "Busybox is installed to sh:<stdin>[1]:not found"
then gives me the option to install 1.20.1
so do i need to spend the money to upgrade to busy box pro?

Get ez-recovery, makes flashing different recoveries super easy. After flashing rom and setting up, go back to recovery and flash the kernal. That's what I did on synergy and imo's kernal. Beans v5 flashes it all at once. So far both run great with very good battery life.

If you flash any CM10 based ROM's you will have to do some extra steps. IMO you should just start off with Touch Wiz based ROMS so all you need to do is flash from your SD once and reboot.
This is a better place to talk about it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1762709There is also LOTS of "HOW TO" stuff there that should get you going.

Moved. OP, in the future, use the report post feature - there's an option to request a thread move.
This is for Synergy r169 ROM only.
All credits are in post 2..
I am writing this do to to people having problems after flashing this theme... Backup all your work like any dev would tell you before flashing anything. You need to start fresh. What your going to do..
1. place the the rom r169, theme and kernel on your ext sd card..
Synergy ROM R169... http://beta.androidfilehost.com/?fid=9390248398092764907
2. Make sure you have a full battery before you get started..
3. Boot into twrp recovery..
4 Select wipe. Now your going to select wipe cache. Then dalvik cache. Then Factory Reset. Then internal storage. Then again Factory reset again.
5. Now select back button.
6. Install the Synergy Rom r169 first.. After it is done flashing. DO NOT DO A DALVIK WIPE. JUST PRESS THE REBOOT.
7. Sit back and let it boot all the way up.. Go throw all the setup screens. DO NOT SET UP ANY EMAILS OR ANY BACKUP. YOU CAN GO BACK AND DO THAT LATER. WE JUST WANT TO GET TO THE HOME SCREEN.. Now that we have all that done. Lets get started on getting the kernel done now..
8. Reboot back to recovery and flash the kernel. (do not wipe anything again.. Reboot back to the home screen again..
9. Reboot back in recovery and flash the heinz57 theme.. (again do not do a dalvik wipe. Reboot back to the home screen again..
10. Now that everything is working perfect. Go to setting and sync your gmail, and what ever else you have going. .
enjoy..
HEADS UP> I would not use ti to get your work back.. START FRESH ON ALL APPS, HOPE THIS HELPS OUT..
Due to some people having lang. This Kernel is the best to use.. I would go here and flash this first.. Make sure you flash vzw 1.84
KERNEL DOWNLOAD
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1785466
HEINZ 57 Download
Link... http://db.tt/nfUmVNyE
1.place theme on the sd card.
2.You need to delete your systemUI.apk using ti backup or a file explore of some kind
3.reboot into recovery
4.wipe your dalvik and cache
5.flash the theme
6.reboot
6.enjoy
Do not try to flash this on any other rom as this is only for Synergy ROM R169.
I am not responsible or any other dev on this board. If you or any other person brick your device for flashing this..
Please if you have any problems. Post them on this tread or messege me. And I will help as much as I can.. As time does get limited. Just hang tight. As soon I get a chance.. I will be willing to help you..
I will not except any donation so please do not ask..

Does your rom have LeanKernel file in System/etc/init.d/
Try downloading/updating your Busy box from the Play Store.

Hmm....That I'm not sure of. I'll go and check and get back w/ yall as soon as I can!
Ok, so i checked the int folder and it does have "00leanKernel" inside says:
Code:
#!/system/bin/sh
VMIN=0
echo $VMIN > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/override_vmin
As for busybox....I"m not sure if that is on this ROM or not. If not should I install it? I found a BusyBox app on the play store that says its supposed to install busy box. Jus don't wanna mess up anything lol.

Go ahead and download Busybox by Stephen (Sterickson). Let's see how that takes.

I did that, Normal Install. Reset. Atm it still looks like its hopping around. Generally staying at 1512 but also going as low as 1134 like before. Govenor/ ondemand, scheduler/row
Maybe the kernel still hasn't settled yet? I've had it installed for the last several days.

Aight, which kernel app are you using? It should only act somewhat iffy for about ten minutes after the initial kernel flash not a couple days. Also, is the phone hot while you're trying to adjust the OC?

I'm using SetCPU. Min set to 384. Right I would've thought it would've settled by now. Generally really w/ most kernels I've installed they've all had a tendency to jump up in heat kinda quickly. So yes it does generally get hot even while adjusting OC.
Yea, maintaining OC can be somewhat tricky depending on the heat produced. Does this continue to occur when you select "set at boot" option for the CPU?

Yes. I've checked it after a couple of resets and it just doesn't wanna hold. Resets to 1512.
