Galaxy SIII Lockscreen - Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G

Hey guys, I was just wondering if it was possible to port the Galaxy S3 ripple lockscreen to the Blaze. I think it would be awesome if we had this, and I hate using all of the fake ones on the Play Store that say they are the S3 lockscreen. Thanks

OK hate to bump this, but I really want this lockscreen. Is it only possible to add it to stock rom? Or can it be added to CM`10?
I wouldn''t mind taking a crack at it.

Yeah if I remember correctly there is a slew of smali stuffs that comes with all that - in android.policy.jar and likely in framework(2).jar as well.

Yeah i asked this at general q&a but no one answered me.

I have gone through all 24 pages of s2 thread of rotation. They have used two libs files of samsung note. There is similarity between note & s2. Also framework files need to be modified. If we want to implement it in our phone then definitely we have to first modify libs & then accordingly framework files.
Did someone already ask what the changes were they did to the files of galaxy note and in the framework?

I guess our developers can look at spare parts.apk which has this fancy rotation animation (running on android v.1.5 only). Perhaps they can port that apps to be compatible with GB or froyo...

I don't think it's that easy. Spare parts allows you to change hidden settings, it doesn't add anything.

Really? I couldn't make windows animations work with UOT kitchen. I had to extract frameworks and replaced anim folders manually.

Oh yes, I get errors every time "decompile-compile" is involved. The only way I managed to change window animations was to replace the original anim-folder from framework-res.apk with the tweaked one Surprisingly this method didn't work with ICS-transition effect.

[Q] Tweaks.apk Question! :)

Hey all,
Please ping me or otherwise correct me if I'm mistaken, but I've searched for a very long time for the answer to my question :
I need help theming tweaks.apk, specifically the images shown in the sliders. I'm a n00b when it comes to theming, but I'm also not afraid of possible bricks and the like. If someone has any info, it would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!
BUMP anyone??
if you're trying to theme the sliders and thngs on the lockscreen then you don't have to theme the Tweaks.apk you have to look in the framework-res.apk as that is where all the lockscreen pics are in

for tweaks it was a good question but for themes there's a lot of guides and sources u can check for that on google man so try searching a bit too. eh!
but I'll answer it, to check what a theme changes just open up the file of the theme u flashed and check to see what files were changed and you'll know where to check.

this can help....
Download & Install FreeImageConverter then launch it.
Click Add Folder... and add the folder were the wallpapers are
Then click Advanced Convert...
Select Exact Size and set the image quality to 100
Set your Width and Height resolutions for your device.
Uncheck Add "Converted by www.freeimageconverter.com"
Select Leave the same file name and leave the Postfix & Prefix empty. Then set your output in a folder.

yes. i tried 9patch resizer. but for resizing you should change some layouts too! resizing of pngs is just the beginning . hard part is to resize layouts.
