This Mod is based on Tnt Stock image for Viewsonic G tablet and now working on our Folio 100.

Installation Instructions:
ALWAYS HAVE CHARGER CONNECTED WHEN UPDATING A FIRMWARE
Download FolioTntMod v0.4
Extract contents to a folder and follow instructions below or Readme inside zip file.
copy the update.zip to a sdcard, and insert sdcard into folio.
Enter "Recovery menu" when folio is just turned on and press (POWER) once and (VOL up) next.
press (VOL up) Factory reset or system update.
press(VOL down) to continue to system update.
press (VOL up) to confirm system update.
during installation progress bar will show har far it is.
folio will reboot after installation.
if you need to wipe, repeat the steps above without sdcard inserted, and you get into recovery menu. Press "HOME" button to see menu and choose "factory reset".
Rollback to original stock rom:Download Folio stock image for full restore to stock rom
extract zip to a folder, and from here follow steps 1 - 9 above, to install the update.zip .
This image is for rollback purpose, if you do not want the mod edition, here is the way back to stock rom.
Remember to run a factory reset before or after this stock rom install..​

This patch will automatically enable the fs optimization in v0.4 as well.
Rename zip file to update.zip and install using recovery menu.

- Wifi seems to work in inverse on v0.4, you need to force "always enabled" in avanced settings, to have it turn off when not used
- all - Cannot use "clear data" in "manage application".

apps yes, but generic settings for the specific edition no..
as this has other framework + different launcher, some settings differ.
but try and find out, you probably find some apps crashing, but then try uninstalling and reinstall.. never tried it.

First experience (except for my small marketapp problem)
is , that it download/install faster... and lagging seems less here?
Of course post experience compared to my Toshiba edition, so we know if its worth using or just maybe, the fact that our Toshiba edition is actually is quite good..

Seriously I love it, it's running perfectly great:
-notification bar and setting are just awesome..
-wifi working great for me
-memory usage is good
-battery and standby I'll check tomorrow after night testing
-SDCard works great even with toshiba file manager (used titanium backup to install back my apps)
-new home also great but less responsive
-launcherpro or adw.launcher both works great but "setting" doesn't work since it's using new setting app
-Browser and mail client looks great
Still some bugs:
-No 360° rotation - Sorry 360° works great but doesn't work with home default launcher
-Only english (us & uk), more local 2 don't change a lot
-Taskmanager doesn't work
well this is my feedback after few minutes testing

you must be doing something wrong, i got like 15 languages selectable, and even more, when i type my national code as explained in readme.txt .
so check again.. many lang's works fine on this one, just using morelocale2

- With morelocale2, I've change the langage to french, but I've always a QWERTY keyboard, any idea ?

yes I know just that problem I'm talking in post #1
in your case to solve sensor buttons problem use this file in attachment
1.extract and copy to sdcard
2.enter Terminal Emulator already installed on phone
3 write these lines

do not use Root Explorer to copy !

yes this is true but not a problem will happen every time you flash again
due to apk optimization I made but after system will construct Dalvik-cache will never happen !
but not necessary to change language just try to activate keyboard by example try to write a sms if keyboard has no response press back out of sms app and enter to try again...
regarding a2sd I used to move Dalvik-cache to get more space to apks
by example compared to stock Cosmote ROM you got 150-105= 45 MB free
if you want to experiment with a2sd use this help
but carefully !

how to flash CWM recovery
-install SDK for Android
-copy recovery.img to location where you stored sdk tools something like this android-sdk\platform-tools
-enter fastboot mode (phone is connected to PC )
to enter fastboot mode press VolDOWN+Menu at phone startup for 10s phone display is blank
-enter this from line commander (bash/cmd.exe)
fastboot devices -to start service or test connection to PC
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img -to flash required CWM recovery to phone
to enter CWM recovery press VolUP+Menu for 10s at phone start

I made this regarding post #1 for people who are newbies in Android to help install this custom ROM
also I think fastboot is the strongest tool for Android because will help to solve a lot of problems!
in Windows Mobile this is a tricky task to recover from an unsuccessful flash !

but for me post no 6 is the most appropriate answer to that question
by example for me keyboard works pretty well

think that for qvga custom roms, for x10mini had gone most furder...
PS: must edit look of "phone app" it's terible...

I fixed a keyboard got rоm in the original phone which foot to Cyrillic and now with the installation and install it.
problem with touch screen remains in most cases not responding to touch, sometimes works sometimes not.

this is not a bug just about settings... I CAN NOT make a custom rom for every person asking for ...you have to use Prop Editor app included but be careful ! If you want to customize install some themes ... there are a lot of themes for ADW.Launcher and this is very very customizable... in fact it's the same launcher as Cyanogenmod also you have Go Launcher on Market at one click install ...
to import framework from Xperia good thinking if you have 1 year time at your own discretion...
or if someone is paid to do that
...
this is my custom ROM ..so made to use by me and posted here if someone is interested.. if not ...you are free to use any other ROM !
also
to see features included in this ROM ... read post no 1 before install you see nothing about 'beautiful interface' just performance/stability/ MORE free space/ and....
a lot of features... BUT YOU HAVE TO LEARN how to use these things...
In your case I suggest to revert back to your stock ROM if you don't like this one

problem with touchscreen anyway mine works well
revert back to stock rom to see differences but I suppose is not a problem anyway I really don't have this problem. I'm expecting feedback from other persons to see what is this about ?
regarding keyboard not showing up ... as some people say... it is as done in the next version I put a new keyboard in fact as I see all Android phones on market have 2 keyboards installed -mine just one !
maybe default Android keyboard needs help from third party to wake up from sleeping
to check this ...install another keyboard from Market by example look for haker's keyboard
but I think this also could be about deodexing/ zipalinging features on this ROM
If is so then during the second launch every app should start well - so is about keyboard

I have an HTC One S Asian firmware with JB 4.1 installed and no root. I have a problem when I am playing music. Sometimes, when a song is played, the next song will not play until I push the lock button. Is there anyone else facing this problem ? Is this a bug ?

Well, i have never had a problem like this, it sounds like a BUG, but, you can go to : Settings > Apps > All > Music > Clear Data also Clear Cash > Go back > Music Enhancer > do the same, if not, try some custom Music Players from the Play Store .

I had the same problem. I fixed it by updating to cyanogenmod 10.1, the music player now works perfectly. I used the 160313 nightly. Also, that update adds a lot of nice new features such as customisable lock screen widgets, customisable launcher and menu transitions and mostly the new clock.

Yes, you need an unlocked/s-off bootloader and a custom recovery.

You don't need s, off...

It must have been a bug with that specific version of cyanogenmod. I recommend that you go to a 10.1 nightly, or try Viper. You do NOT need S-OFF.

So, can you guide me please to fix this problem ? =D

Basically, CyanogenMod 10 had a buggy music player on the One S. This is fact. They have addressed the majority of these issues in 10.1, but some sacrifices will have to be made. For example, you will get some screen tearing when scrolling, but if your One S is relatively new (anything under nine months) then you won't have many problems with that. Also (this could be just specific to my phone, not sure about anybody else) when trying to connect to mobile data, you have three options. GPRS, HSPA+, or nothing (sadly, when you are tied to Orange, you will experience the third option rather frequently). However, I use music far more than I use mobile data, because I have a computer opposite my bed, and Jelly Bean 4.2 has some snazzy features such as lock screen widgets, and the new digital clock is far nicer than the old analogue one.
So, follow these steps:
- Boot your phone into bootloader and select recovery (if you do not have TWRP 2.3.3.0, flash that in fastboot USB first).
- Wipe cache and dalvik cache.
- Go back to main menu, reboot, reboot into bootloader.
- On your computer, open the .zip file for CM10.1 and copypasta the boot.img on the first screen into your Android SDK platform-tools folder.
- Open cmd, change destination to the platform-tools folder then type fastboot flash boot boot.img.
- Rename the CM10.1 folder to CM10.1 and on your phone's SD card make a folder called ROMs (easy for switching in the future).
- Then type adb push CM10.1.zip /sdcard/ROMs.
- If both transfers are successful, then close cmd, as it is no longer needed. Or keep it open, whatever floats your boat.
- Go back into TWRP, flash CM10.1.zip.
- Reboot the phone, let it optimise apps etc.
- Reboot into bootloader, select recovery.
- Flash gapps 4.2.2 - I don't think that 4.1 works. Then again, why would it, it's outdated.
- Reboot the phone.
These are to make cyanogenmod 10.1 work to its full potential:
- Drag the notification bar down, click the tiles button in the top right corner, select settings.
- Scroll down to and select Apps
- Find Clock and cLock. Clear data on both.
- Find Play Store. Clear data.
And you have a phone with the latest version of Android that HTC don't want you to have and a fully-functioning music player.
Just a hint - download Play Music. Excuse my language, but Apollo is a pile of ****e, worst music player I've come across in my life.

Lenovo_S124_maomi_MOD_pu
- is based on S124 Maomi, root is included, main goal was to shrink down a ROM size, wipe bloatware. From the original 400 Mb the size was shrinked to 188 Mb.
- More Locale for additional languages added.
- original launchers (Nova and Xperia Launcher) replaced by newest version of Xperia Launcher
- removed Lenovo Apps, chinesse Baidu keyboard, News and Weather + some more programs.

Note! As there is mistake in Android 4.1.1, commercial widgets dissapears after reboot. Its a mistake of Android, not ROM and can be easily solved by Titanium Backup. (App with widget you want to use has to be backuped by TB, then uninstalled and recovered from backup (all by TB). Problem shall be solved in next release of Android:

Note: the key combination for accesing CMW is different than usual one: turn off the phone, hold "Power" for two seconds, release it and hold altogether both + and - volume control.
Please dont blame if anything is not working. Either there is some mistake in my guide, or you have done something wrong.

Note: to keep a funcionality of calendar notification, a LeCalendar (Lenovo Calendar) has to be kept in ROM, even when not used. Do not dele it. You can use other calendar app, but not all of them has working notificatio. I have tested Calendar Pad, so it is included in rom.

I have 3 questions to this ROM, the size of data partition, 768MB or bigger? Do you have issue to use GPS and wifi position in google map or FB? How about VPN function in this ROM? (Most of P770 Chinese ROMs can't disconnect from VPN server normally)

Knives: have no knowledge of TWRP, sorry.
I use "recovery" as a term for image containing a flashable part of memory where CMW storage is stored. Term "cwm recovery" you notice is used nowhere in my post.

Data partition shows 756.8 MB.
The Google locations shows OK to me, but some people reports problem. So far, we are unable to determine where the problem is accross the comunity.
I am not familiar with VPN on mobile, I will try to test, but so far I have no answer yet.

Edit: Since you mention a different recovery for S110, I presume that this will work with the stock ROM mentioned above. But could you please confirm if this CWM is in English and not in Chinese (...some of the other postings on rooting Lenovo p770 seem to suggest that CWM that works is in Chinese.

calendar reminder that works
A working calendar with a working reminder function is Business Calendar Pro (buy 4,75 Euro)
The buisiness app has an own reminder function.
I tried so many different ways, but this works.
Synchronization with Myphoneexplorer and Outlook-XP works.

1: Download the Rom zip and replace " updater-script" inside folder "META-INF\com\google\android" with this one(unzip it before)

1:DOWNLOAD Rashr - Flash Tool from Google Market (to flash Recovery)

3:DOWNLOAD RECOVERY(NEW VERSION WITH FIXED PARTITIONS LAYOUT)
4: Now select the downloaded recovery with a file explorer (Rashr - Flash Tool will ask you to flash it as recovery & reboot in recovery mode)and flash it

5: Once you are in recovery mode make a full backup of your actual rom.
THIS STEP IS VERY IMPORTANT BECAUSE MY TWRP MAKE A BACKUP OF VITAL PARTITIONS WHERE IS STORED IMEI,MAC ETC...
it's a good idea to copy the backup folder on your PC, it could be very useful in future in case of problem with missing IMEI and other trouble...

6: Now ( note:due to the fact some people had problem during this step in TWRP-Settings select "Use rm -rf instead of formatting.")select: Wipe-Advanced Wipe and tick: Dalvik Cache,System,Cache,Data.
7: (Without exit from recovery) Select Install and choose the rom zip (on upper part of the recovery screen you can select Internal Storage or SD Card).....
....reboot....
....OK!....now you are on EMUmI!

To download Themes and Songs remember to have simcard inserted and not to be in "Flight Mode":Those apps need to access your IMEI number to finalize autentication..
EMUmI is PREROOTED but there isn't the Supersu apk,all apps needing root will work well,i suggest to install SuperSu(from market) only if you need to manage apps permissions..
The rom is FULLY ODEXED (more stable&fast)....so is not reccomended using Titanium or similar app to remove and then restore apps:It will remove the related libs from system but it will not restore them...so i suggest to use it only if you know what you are doing..(to reinstall an app you need to extract the libs from his .apk and copy them to system/lib again.....)..however you can restore "Only data" of apps without problems.
Many Google related apps are not present(tts,search...)first of all to gain space,second because they are often updated....if you need them you can download from Market without problem..
How To Enable On Screen Soft Buttons:modify this line in build.prop:
#qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
TO
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
(remember to left an empty line at the end of build.prop!)

I've only been using it for 30 minuets
the camera seems slightly better although i haven't tested it in the dark yet
i haven't had any random reboots
headphones work fine
I haven't found anything wrong with it yet
