something is wrong with my notification bar the settings button isn't showing up completely its ether half way or non visible at times and its annoying can someone help me please?? it use to look fine but then i couldn't see it unless i when into land scape the first picture it was how it use to look and the second one is how it looks like sometimes and sometimes u cant see it at all.

Just wondering anyone has come across this problem or not.
it happen to me, randomly, thus i am not sure whether is it a bug or setting tht had given this problem, but as far as i can remember, i dont adjust the setting of the default internet browser(nothing much to be adjusted too)
The problem goes like this:
I went to google page, opt for "Images", theh i type in things tht i want the search(e.g. cat)
all the cat images will surface, in normal situation, if i press on any of the image, it will be maximise and showing the image in almost full screen.
in other situation, when i touch on any images, the screen just simply dont respond to my touch at all, the closest i can get is, pressing on 1 image for 2 secs, then an option will come out, asking me whether to save image or view image, and it is jus a thumbnail size...
i tried on and off the phone but it doesnt help. sometimes it will just turns back to normal again.
but today the switching on and off dont solve this problem anymore, damn...
i really out of idea of what is going on, and how to get rid of this problem before i have no choice but to go to a service centre. my phone is a galaxy s, not rooted.
if u guys know where is the fault lies, pls help me. thks thks
Just installed Synergy JB and have noticed that there is one finger zoom in here where you basically slide up and down on the edge of the screen and it zooms in and out. I see people with the note II have this also so it seems it may be a Touchwiz JB feature but I haven't seen a way to turn it off. It's nice but would love to find a way to toggle it. I already checked display, accessibility, and motion controls with no luck and it zooms in any app that can zoom.
If I remember correctly E actually put the GNOTE 2 camera in that ROM so what you are seeing is that actually camera... As far as I know the only way to change that would be to flash a different camera.... HOWEVER.. I do have the NOTE 2 camera on mine also and can pinch to zoom or use the volume keys so there may be different versions of that also... But anyways flash a different camera and that should do the trick

Well its not just the camera it's in the browser, wikipedia app, and others
I apologize.. I swear the post said in the camera app.... I know he pulled a few .APK's from the Note 2... All I can suggest is check the settings for the individual apps... You could also try and download a different browser and try that... That would help narrow it down if it is something "Overseeing" the ROM or something specific to certain .APK's....
anyone find a fix for this...it's happening in my browser now and it's killing me?

With all due respect, you may want to look at your screen and take note of the fact there are no scroll bars.
I understand that we are creatures of habit, and as I have been using the GUI, with Scroll Bars since the first Mac (1984) I too tend to use the edge of the screen to scroll, but the truth is, it is a Phone, not a Mac, not a PC. It has no scroll bars. Scroll slightly to the left (or to the right-so to not disenfranchise left handed phone users) or 1/4 of the way across, or 1/3rd, or 1/2 or 3/4 quarters, etc. etc. etc.
Anywhere you'd like. It's a Phone, it's a touch screen. No mouse, no ability to tap in the scroll bar and have the screen advance. No way to position your mouse over the up or down arrow, and have the screen scroll smoothly without any other movement than you holding down the mouse button.
It's a Phone. Get it?
Anyway, what is really infuriating is that Samsung put this feature on the phone, didn't tell anyone, until people started complaining about it and reporting it as a bug, and then rather than either tell people about it, or add the ability through a Setting to disable it, in a new release of the software, the morons simply took it away.
So let me ask you, if your phone came configured with the setting disabled by default, but gave you the option to enable it, try it, see if you liked it, then said, nah, and turned it off, would that have been best for you and guys like me who depend on it all day every day to be able to use my Phone with one hand?
I think the answer is obvious.
Samsung, you are laughable, amateur software developers.
Thankfully we have XDA.
Now I just need one of you on here to figure out where in the heck it is hidden so you can make me a build that includes it with whatever else is in the latest releases.
You see, Android is almost entirely "Hard Coded" so it is not something the average user can just go "teeak" , like following the step by step instructions of someone to simply "Hack" the Windows Registry to make it the way we like it.
All the more reason Samsung is so pitiful.
I would post this in the Jedi X6 development thread but cant due to account limitations, but anyways..
I just flashed the Jedi X6 ROM on my T-Mobile Note II and when i use the multi-window feature, it works great except for two issues.
When i rotate the phone to go to landscape view, it takes about 5 seconds, then force closes. after I hit "Ok" on the FC window, i can use the two applications side by side in landscape view, but the muilt-window tab is gone and the bar between the apps is gone.
Second, in portrait mode, when i touch and drag the center bar to resize the two app windows, as soon i let the bar go, it force closes.
I dont know if i am doing something wrong, if i missed something when i flashed the ROM, but i was just looking for help. I already did some reading in the development thread, but didnt see this issue listed.
I've also tried redownloading and reflashing the ROM totally, didnt help. I made sure to follow the flashing instructions exactly

I just rooted and installed CM10 Jelly Bean 4.1.2, everything works pretty well!! Fast, some stuff couldve been simpler for example the whole Home Screen setups and things like that it was much simpler with Ice Cream Sandwich, and all the programs dont have the settings button?! i configured it as long press home key.. but still, weird annoying issue, but wtv, i hope an update would come soon to fix these little details, but Im posting this because of the 3 following reasons, ESPECIALLY #1
Anyone else having this problem?
1: Dock icon disappears randomly (only 3 of them), always have to put them back in
2: Volume isnt as loud as it was originally... even after installing the Beat Audio Installer from Google Play...
3: The display's maximum brightness is as bright as it was as well, i dont know if thats just me but I really feel as if its dimmer.
I don't really mind 2 and 3, but the icons in the dock disappears is becoming extremely annoying... can anyone help me with this?

This is the general forum. You should put your question in the Q & A forum or the CM10 thread.
Ok so i installed CM10.1 and i noticed that there is someting like an invsible line 1cm above the buttons..... it can be really annoying. I can only see it in games or when i scroll up/down in portrait mode.looks like it would reload everytinhg scrolling through there, dont even know how to explain. I tried to enable the 3 options for screen tearing("disable hw overlays , force gpu rendering etc) but it doesent slove anything. Same goes for AOKP 4.2.2. With 4.1 roms everyting is fine.Anyone knows what the problem could be ?
You might wanna make a backup of CM10.1 and flash another ROM to see if the problem persists. I've ran about 6 different 4.2 ROMs and haven't seen this.
Worst case scenario is that it's your screen...

Have the same issue with baked black bean 8 (4.2.2). Hope it will be fixed soon, but actiually I can live with that.
