I really dont understand the question as to why would you downgrade basebands?
Gingerbread is the "stock" rom now. If you need to return your phone T-Mobile and LG fully expect you to have the Gingerbread update on it. There is no reason to return it to Froyo. Plus the baseband cannot be downgraded or even upgraded on this phone outside of an official OTA from a carrier or LG, through the LG Update or the KDZ method which invokes the LG Updater.
After having a number of FC and random issues with my phone I decided to return it to factory state, I flash the stock image from the Clockwork app and ever since I have no service. I let the phone go through the update from 2.3.3 to 2.3.4 via wifi and had the same issue. I tried to manually flash the latest AT&T radio with no luck. My phone is now flashed the stock GRj22 Rom and baseband KD1 and I still show no signal please help!

Hey XDA modders,
Last year I upgraded with the leaked Gingerbread incl. baseband:
Android 2.3.5
L6260_MODEM_SIC_01.1042.00 baseband
GRJ90 build
2.6.35.7+ kernel
LG920-V21a-NOV-16-2011
Unfortunately it's been nothing but problems since then: missed SMS, ghost calls, etc. Unfortunately I'm now off the official LG path, so I can't get back. One of the difficulties in XDA is it's hard to keep up with what is going on. So I'm really not sure what to do as it seems people like me have 'missed the boat' so to speak to get this fixed, as it's hard to search and find any response about this.
My question is:
- What basebands have no known issues? eg. 21a, 21b, 20b?
- How do I downgrade/upgrade to the correct baseband? Flash KDZ?
Cheers
Leon
For what I know you have to downgrade to a 10x firmware ( with kdz or bin file ) only froyo rom seems to work properly
All Gingerbread Roms + CM Roms that used GB baseband suffer from this problem. The problem is in the new bb came with GB. So, the only solution for now is to go back to any froyo Rom.
However, the latest froyo Rom suffer from a problem, when you set wifi sleep policy to never, the phone will randomly reboot number of times a day. So, flash the one before the latest.
LG lost us all, no one is satisfaied!
you can follow this guide to upgrade/downgrade the stock rom, i used it to fix my bricked phone, it works on the downgrade too i downgraded from v21b to v21a
Hi,
I have flashed a stock rom ICS 4.0.4 - UAE version thru MoileOdin..
Everything went fine exept that the GPS isnt working..
Tries searching thru the forums but didn't find a satisfactoy answer or fix.
I was using Honeycomb 3.2
Have you tried the Gpsfix application from the playstore to calibrate? If this doesn't work you could try a factory reset or reflashing ROM.
I had this new Optimus 3D (P925). I flashed it with CM7 but had network problems with it. With a help on the forum I was able to flash a new rom using the omap4boot, smartflash, and OS hacking utility. The kdz file had a v21e baseband. I was able to get back on gingerbread but the phone became P920. I reflashed the CM7 because I thought with the v21e baseband I could get the network working. I had the same problem again. I flashed the phone again but this time with a different baseband( LGP940_V20D). I still had this problem on it and I tried to flash the v21e baseband among others but the V20D baseband doesn't erase. Please I need your help. I am in Ghana
