Hey guys, as the title above I want to share how to play the line pop on rooted device (an abnormal use of device has been detected) I don't know if it will work on every device, but mine works perfectly, also at my rooted galaxy gio.
So here's the quick easy guide
Must have apps:
Root explorer
Supersu (if you don't had one means you can play)
How to do:
-go open root explorer
-go to folder system/app
-find superuser.apk and rename it whatever you want (weirduser, smartuser, etc)
-go to superuser at the drawer
-disable the super user
Done, just restart your phone and try the line pop.
Hope will works
If it helpful just hit thanks and maybe follow my Twitter @Chris_inoT
Or you can try this modified apk that one of the forum user pm me the link, credits all go to him/her, please verify if this work (chew2293)

What does this do exactly? Can't imagine what renaming super su/disabling rights would do other than making things not work.

Just download the line pop first, you will see why I make this thread. or if you to lazy will post it for you than.
Edited: see the first post, and please read it carefully, I don't want to spam this thread by "an question with not trying first"
And for return it to normal, just enable the super user, you don't have to change the name again.

Hi Mate,
Maybe it's not the right way to play game on root device
Because if we rename Supersu.apk others application that user su access will be FC -_-"
Actually if you wanna try, you can remove root checker with apktool or else
May i create new thread for this ? because i have the playable version for root device without renaming Supersu
Regards

No is not, see the second Screenshot? I used root explorer while playing the line pop, no probs at all or force close, I have not find any problems using my method, after play just re enabled the superuser apps from the apps it self, and poof back to normal.
But if you had another good solution, feel free to share i just figure it out this by my self yesterday, and please pm me the thread link, I wanna try it also, and thanks for helping, I finally find dev that helping not cornering or something x.x

you can play Line Pop in rooted device by using this app
OTA RootKeeper
XDA thread
here is the description
Description
Free tool trying to protect root across manufacturer's OTA updates.
Also serves as temporary un-root (see statement)
Distributed as free of charge - no warranty. Open Source license: WTFPL.
Alternative download link: http://dl.project-voodoo.org/apps/VoodooOTARootKeeper.apk
This application makes a backup or a protected backup of your device's root.
This device must already be rooted: OTA RootKeeper doesn't have the ability to root devices.
If several conditions are matched, OTA RootKeeper will make root survive OTAs and... pretty much well anything − except /system partition formatting.

question
if you rename the Superuser.apk, will it temporarry unroot the phone?

If a game has issues with you having full control over your device, that game is not worth playing.

i just re-rooted my phone from stock, testing the Unroot now
Edit: it seems unroot didnt work, though like mentioned above you would only want to unroot incase of hardware issue or you want t replace the phone wit T-Mo, but thats all good now cause i posted a working Odin image earlier.
So cwm doesn't work for the sidekick 4g

First off thank you for the easy root But now I have an issue, the SD card wont work, looks like it wont find the extension anyone know how to fix this? Ive used many different card and none read but I know all work. Without this I cant do a ROM
Try reformatting the card? Did they work before you rooted? do they work again if you unroot?
They worked before the root, I didn't unroot yet. When you out then in the phone and go to the SD card setting it shows nothing. Just says unavailable. So I can't even format it on the phone. I've formatted them in many ways on the pc too
HTC EVO = my best friend
did you try pulling out the sdcard and putting it back in? does it show a blank sdcard, or no sdcard at all?
need a mirror, site is down
I cannot get # in adb. Only $. Can anyone tell me why? I rooted with this method and have smooth maximus v2.0 and bali kernel v2.0. Any ideas?
Edit: Nvm. I had to update the drivers with the ones here.

This will fix the issues Note 3 users are having with Titanium Backup restores. Since I don't know how long the Titanium Backup team will need to fix their code, this app will be available until that time. TB Restore Fixer runs the restorecon -R -v /data/data command to fix issues after restoring apps from Titanium Backup.
As of Titanium Backup 6.1.3, this issue should be fixed! This is here in case anyone still uses it for whatever reason.
Instructions:
1) Run Titanium Backup restore
2) Start the app, read the first screen, and hit "Fix Me!"

DEVS: Please do not include the main TB Restore Fixer app in your ROMs! I have made a stub app that YOU CAN include in your ROMs, it takes the user to the listing in the Play Store - please download TBRestoreFixerStub.apk from the bottom of this post. The stub app will be removed when TB Restore Fixer is run for the first time. Please credit me and link to this thread if you include this in your ROM.

Credit to vodkinagdan for the initial information on how to fix this via Terminal Emulator.
Thanks buddy.
But can you pls tell us how it fixes the issue ?
1. Running restorecon regularly or when /data/data is modified ?
2. Patching TB ?
3. Modifying certain system properties like switching off SELinux ?
When TB comes up with their fix how easy it is to revert back changes done by your app ? will it suffice to simply uninstall in this app ?

I'm sorry, I should have stated this. I'll add it to the OP later, but it runs the restorecon command, that's pretty much it. It's very simple

i even froze the app and it still says forceclose. i tried uninstalling the app through tb and says can not find.

so basically i had to search the apk in es explorer and delete the app. that fixed the force close. deffinately not doing that again.

Kingo Android Root is a well-designed, aesthetically pleasing application for Windows based computers that forgoes the device specific route, and offers rooting for a lot of Android devices from a variety of manufacturers. Supported phones include the likes of Google Nexus lineup, several HTC devices including HTC One, One X, One V, Droid Eris, Motorola Defy, a number of Samsung phones, popular LG devices and some smartphones from Sony. It offers a true one-click root experience, where you have to just download the application, install it, connect your device and click Root.
There are a few things that you need to be mindful of. When connecting your device, you need to have USB Debugging enabled in Android settings. There’s no requirement for pre-installed device drivers, as the software will take care of that for you. In fact, it will give you the Root option only after the drivers have been properly configured. Past that, all you have to do is hit the Root button, and let the application work its magic.
The app pushes SuperSU binaries which are slightly outdated, but get instantly updated to the new version thanks to Google Play. However, it won’t install a custom recovery, so that part you’ll have to take care of manually. Kingo Android Root supports Android versions up to 4.3.

How to Use the Kingo Android Root One-Click Tool
Step 1. Download the Kingo Android Root windows application and install it on your Windows desktop.
Step 2. Once the installation is finished, run the application and connect the device to the computer with USB cable to start the process. Now the application will install the latest drivers on your PC.
Step 3. This will take some time to install the drivers. Once the drivers are installed on your PC, you will see a new screen on your desktop with your device name and "ROOT" button. See the screenshot below:
Step 4. Hit the ROOT Button from the app screen to begin the root process on your device.
Step 5. Be patient. It will take some time to finish the process. Once the operation is completed, you will see the “Root Succeeded” message on your screen.
Your device should now be rooted. With the help of this application you can unroot your device as well. All you have to do is select the Unroot button and follow the onscreen instructions. For more help, check the application FAQ section Mod Edit here too..
**None of this is my material. This is the work of the Kingo team.**
A good and needed write up. Thanks beerdroid!
Awesome. I'm happy I won't need to deal with that terminal stuff

did you end getting this resolved? reroot, reboot? keep us posted. if we iron out early problems and errors, future users will have better/quicker fixes. cheers.
Awesome! I got a brand new GS4 most likely on MF3 coming in today! Gonna download this and get it prep'd!

It's unclear what was causing the slowness, but after a while it finally all went through and my phone is now rooted. Thanks!
I did have to restart the App several times while it was downloading the update. That also seemed to be going very slowly. My download speeds wouldn't go above 100kb/s (consistently) and after a while the download will stop at a certain percentage. I would then have to restart the app, and then it would continue from the percentage but then stop at another percentage.
I have 25+ MBps connection, so I don't think it was my internet. It could have been the laptop though for slowness on both ends, downloading and communicating with the phone. I would have to look into it further though.
Anyways, thanks for responding to me!
Did you use any other devices via USB port? I know when I did mine I had to delete my USB drivers that way it would go faster and not unmount my gs4 all the time.
