Have been using cwm 5.0.2.0 and paid for the 6.0.1.0 update. In Rom Manager it show that the current cwm recovery is 6.0.1.0 but when I put my phone into recovery I am still at 5.0.2.0. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Hi,
Did you click the top tab to actually Flash ClockworkMod Recovery? if so then it will say the recovery version below the RECOVERY section of the app.
my ROM manager premium app version is v5.0.2.7 but my recovery is 6.0.1.0
So maybe you are looking at the incorrect place on the ROM manager app.
good luck
Yes I chose the touch screen recovery flash and it shows that my current recovery is 6.0.1.0 but when I go into recovery it is the old version. My ROM manager version is 5.0.3.1

I assume you have fastboot working. Flash 6.0.1.0 from their site.

Contact the ROM Manager Premium team via the Market?
Never did figure it out. Ended up using the universal nexus toolkit on good ol Ubuntu and flashed it that way. Thanks for the help!

Has anyone got the new ClockworkMod Recovery installed?
I got S-OFF/recovery using revolutionary (http://revolutionary.io/) and it all went well. When it finished, it asked if it could install Clockworkmod Recovery, and I let it, all good. Then I got root through flashing the su zip file.
Then installed Rom Manager and it said that I needed to install ClockworkMod via Rom Manager and the one that was offered was newer (5.0.2.0)... it asked me to confirm the device, and so I selected HTC Slide 4G and it downloaded, and flashed successfully.
but now when I boot into recovery, I just get the 'T-Mobile myTouch 4G slide' boot screen, and no recovery. I have to pull the battery to get it to come back.
Is there something wrong with the Rom Manager version of ClockworkMod recovery?
I flashboot installed the 4.0.0.8 to get CWM back....
ps - is there a better place to report Rom Manager bugs?
Ours is a custom version. You can't use the one from the App. You should look for Paul's version 4.0.0.9

Forget cwm. TWRP works so much easier.

And trust me, I don't say that with ease. I've been cwm user since the beginning. Koush is the man. But TWRP offers so much more and is easier to flash roms since it flashes the boot.img for you
HTC One S running Zydroid!
yeah, you can use which ever you want
for twrp just dl goo manager from market, open it, tap menu, tap "Install Open Recovery Script"
it will flash twrp recovery
i was amonra forever the 4ext recently, cwm and twrp only options for 1s atm
but, still best to resolve your issues first, so my recommendation is cwm thru fastboot. it is less likely to cause other issues until you get things sorted
Im rooted i download ez recovery flashed cwm 6. What else do i need to do ive been reading and people saying different things to do .

I'm not sure what you mean. You can do a backup of your current state, or you can flash a new rom from via zip file
If you have recovery your good to go. I do recommend doing a backup before you flash anything though just in case something goes wrong.

OK..you are rooted and now have recovery CMW 6.0.1.0 which you flashed with ez recovery (all you need to do with that app, you are done with it). At this point just pick a rom that you want...example SynergyROM. All you would do is download the rom and place it on your SD card...I would recommend the extSDCard.
Boot your device into recovery by holding the buttons to do it or just open EZ recovery and hit button 'boot recovery' option only. Find the zip on ext card and that is it...
Always do a backup first which you can do in recovery before flashing the new rom and save that to your ext sdcard also which is an option in 6.0.1.0 after backup then flash new rom
Thank you all for the info

Do we even use Rom Mgr? I think this where I'm making mistakes.
You don't need to use Rom Manager. You have the EZ recovery that flashes a recovery. Rom manager does the exact same thing but EZ recovery makes it simple. Just do what post 3 says and you'll be fine. I just started using EZ recovery 3 days ago and I've already flashed a recovery and a custom kernel. The EZ recovery is only foe flashing recoveries...don't ever try to flash a custom Kernel through it. You can flash custom kernels through CWM Recovery the same way you flash custom rooms, but you need a recovery that supports kexec which would be CWM 6..which is what you have.
Current~Samsung Galaxy S3 SynergyRom 1.3 & Imo's Lean Kernel v12 Oc'd @ 1.9ghz

Past~Droid X Gummy ICS 1.2

When i first opened clock work mode manager it said to me to flash cwm recovery i obeyed it and flashed it and gave it root access and it said that it flashed cwm 6.0.1.1 when i entered recovery i see version is 6.0.1.0 what is the problem?

You may want to flash it again. If that doesn't work, it is probably a software bug. I've never used the ROM Manager to install recoveries as I have always done that through Odin, but that seems like a software bug.
as I know, Clockwork isn't designed exclusively for Gtab2...
How do you figure that?
I wanna flash Touch through Odin (unless there's an easier way) but will having regular clockwork installed hurt anything if I flash?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
Flash touch over regular cwm via ez recovery. It's fine. Don't use odin to flash recovery.
Thanks! Did that and it worked!

FYI...it would be better if you ran CWM 6.0.1.0 instead of CWM Touch...ive had better results with the newer version, if you're interested in trying it out.
I actually used CMW to flash 6.0.1.2 over 6.0.1.0 as opposed to using EZ recovery. I used EZ Recovery to get 6.0.1.0 on the phone in the first place. I do this because the first S3 I tried to use the custom option in EZ Recovery on was soft bricked upon flash completion.

Agreed, just use the CWM ROM Manager app to flash on the most current 6.0.1.2. You can also flash most recent touch recovery through the app as well, that option is at the bottom. I use the touch while I am using ICS roms, but when I start playing with JB developments, I flash back to 6.0.1.2 standard recovery. Though I have not experienced any issues with touch and JB, the developers warn in bold to not use it with JB roms. CWM is updated more frequently than the EZ recovery app, and why use an outside source to flash CWM anyways? EZ recovery is good to start out with because of its different recovery options, but ultimately is not better that the actual recovery source app CWM.
