Hello, noobie here.
I successfully rooted my Verizon Galaxy S 3 after much research and worry.
I have backed everything up using Titanium Pro and used the app to SD function in TP to move apps to ext SD card.
When I check my internal / system memory it still shows the same amount of memory being used even tho the SD card shows all apps have been moved.
My question is;
Why didn't the apps get removed from internal memory when I moved them to the external SD card and should I just delete them from internal memory?
Thanks, Glenron

I have partitioned my sd card in ext. format for more space. And have the internal memory full but there is still a lot of space on the sd card ext. Partition for apps. I just want to move the apps from internal memory to this partition so that my apps work fine and i have my internal memory with free space.
The problem might seem easy to solve. Just by deleting or moving apps from internal memory, but for me its complicated because i don't know which apps are stored on the internal memory and the sd card partition for a2sd... In the apps storage all the apps are shown together without showing which is on the sd ext. partition and which on phone's internal memory. i don't know to move the apps from phone memory to sd card partitioned memory. Any help is appreciated

Either do as suggested above, or download ROM Toolbox and under App Manager, you can move apps to the SD card and set applications as system apps aswell.

I tried them but my prob is i need to delete or move apps from internal memory... And when i delete any app there is more space freed on sd ext not internal memory. I need to know which apps are stored on the internal memory. Which i can't seem to know

I have been trying different roms and loading apps at the same time. Half the apps have disappeared even after restoring them with Titanium but the URGENT question is how to clean up my memory? (BTW) Whats the difference between sd card and ext sd card?
Thanks for the help.

Obviously SD card refers to the internal memory and ext(ernal) SD card is basically the Micro SD card storage it is the smartphone version of internal and external hard drive. You will have to delete the backup apps to free up memory located in the Titanium Backup folder. all in all it is the same as what you would do on your laptop or desktop.
Hi Frnz,
I accidentally deleted my "android.secure" folder from my memory card(external SD card) while installing 1 of the rom in my SD card on my friend's mobile phone.
Now, I'm unable to see any of the apps installed on my SD card and even internal memory for apps(i.e. 1GB) is showing occupied.
I want that occupied memory to be cleaned. Pls. help
Note: Memory of 1GB is provided by Micromax which is limited to install apps.
How do we use FolderMount to move the user installed apps to the External SD card? The storage space is running low already! How can I move all the apps to the external SD card? The phone is rooted and it uses FolderMount. Do we link the 'data' folder to the microSD?
Anyone know it's move to internal or external SD???
No need to move apps to the internal SD, since apps are installed onto the data partition anyway.
But in Lollipop, you CAN now move apps to your external SD cards. :victory:
