How do we use FolderMount to move the user installed apps to the External SD card? The storage space is running low already! How can I move all the apps to the external SD card? The phone is rooted and it uses FolderMount. Do we link the 'data' folder to the microSD?

Hello, noobie here.
I successfully rooted my Verizon Galaxy S 3 after much research and worry.
I have backed everything up using Titanium Pro and used the app to SD function in TP to move apps to ext SD card.
When I check my internal / system memory it still shows the same amount of memory being used even tho the SD card shows all apps have been moved.
My question is;
Why didn't the apps get removed from internal memory when I moved them to the external SD card and should I just delete them from internal memory?
Thanks, Glenron
Hi,
I am using XOLO Q700 and I am unable to install apps on external sd card and changed the default write disk to storage, same problem it automatically installing in the internal storage.
already my internal storage is full and unable to install any apps or update apps.
I researched in the internet heard about andoroid sdk and told to with some commands but that failed.
and some saying rooting is required.
and I want install apps on external sd card without rooting is it possible?
or can I move the game data into external sd card link that data to the app.
please help!!!!!!!!!
I am using DirectoryBind - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1410262
DirectoryBind just creates the simlink that poins from intrenal SD directory to extSD.
Gama data are sometimes very huge, so it's good idea to move them to extSD (and simlink them with DirectoryBind to maintain functionality of those games).
You need ROOT to use DirectoryBind.
Hi,
I have a xperia m2 with rooted kitkat 4.4.2. Now I'm running out of memory, I tried to move apps on sd card, but the biggest part of the apps are still on the internel memory.
Is there any way to set install path to external memory by default, or to move the complete app on the sd card.
Anyone know it's move to internal or external SD???
No need to move apps to the internal SD, since apps are installed onto the data partition anyway.
But in Lollipop, you CAN now move apps to your external SD cards. :victory:
I just rooted my Xperia Z Ultra running Lollipop on stock firmware. I was wondering if there's a way to remap my internal SD card to point to my actual external SD card? I want to free up the internal so I have more space for apps. The reason my internal SD is full is because not all apps have external SD card support. So I want to force those apps to write their extra file and whatnot onto my external SD card instead. How do I achieve this?
