[Q]kernel for cm9 - HTC Pico (Explorer)

Hello frends is there any overclockable kernel available for cm9 by sakaindia.thanks

NO over-clocked kernel but try carium kernel by sak

Cranium kernel won't work with cm9. It's for gb based ROMS only. And overclocking won't make any difference other than increasing the battery drain and decreasing the life of your phone

Whatnot make any difference dude overclock increase the speed of phone.if i overclock to 900mz and in your opinion there is no difference between the 600mz and 900mz procesure.sorry i don't thing so.btw thanks

I meant that it won't make any noticeable difference. Instructions per second is not the only factor that determines performance. Our explorer at 600 MHz is much faster than Galaxy Y at 832 MHz

And thats because most of these low samsung devices have arm v6 processor while pico has an arm v7

I am so glad i chose pico as my first smartphone instead of that sh*** galaxy y

So without sounding like a @#*$, why are there questions about i9003's in a i9000 collective?
hello??
we've been saying this for months... It's just that developers don't think that making a new forum for i9003 is necessary. They say that they'll wait for userbase to grow and developers to show up. In the meantime we will just pollute i9000 section with our posts. Nonsense.

[Q] (Q)How to overclock.

Hello world. I'm running faux 004 but when I try to mess with my CPU limits with SetCpu etc. It only goes up to 1.51. What do I have to do to make higher speeds available?

try system tuner to overclock your processor...it works with faux 004 (also if you want performance change the governer to ondemand. its possible with system tuner too)

Each kernel has a range of frequencies built in, check the specification before you flash to get the range you want. All of the CPU management apps can only work within the ranges defined in the kernel.

Try the new Bricked kernel. You can easily set the maximum and minimum frequencies simply by renaming the ZIP file. Use Recovery to flash. Setting CPU frequencies was never that easy!
I would say try bricked (like aayush mentioned). As he said, you can change the clock speeds by renaming the zip file (up to 1,944 Ghz, but only if your phone can handle it, so I would suggest that you first use "System Tuner" to test how high you can go with oc).
try searching for a kernel that supports hiigher clock rate
for example when flashing arhd it asks you about the kernel you want and not sure wich one can go to 1.7ghz or more

I agree...with bricked kernel, you can set CPU min/max....
I tried Bricked at 1.83 and works like a charm. Tried at 1.99 but after a minute or so my phone rebooted so I'm back to the more stable 1.83 and the battery is amazing!

no US T-Mo love.
I bet it will work with other bases

I'm really hoping we see some T-Mo USA compatible kernels coming soon. All previous one's I've tried did not work, and usually broke Wifi, or never would even boot.
Also hoping that we see CM9/AOKP compatible versions as well.
Make a nandroid and flash the boot.img through fastboot, whats the worst that could happen?
Nice, GPU overclock. Guys, I'm going to try this on my TMOBUS device and report back whether it works.
This is looking good! Can't wait to hear whether or not it works on 1.84 TMO-US base. I can't use fastboot from my work computer or I'd test it myself.
Yeah, Im running it on Leedroid 2.1 with the 1.78 base. Will let the phone charge before testing it.

Been running V06X for a few hours now on the Virtuous One S v1.4.0 rom with the 1.70.666.1 base. Everything is silky smooth, wifi etc.. all working. Flashed it through fastboot.

Heres a first time quadrant test running at 1.7GHz (can clock to 2GHz!) in spite of the S3 One S owners
I have one question: There was this IMPORTANT note where it said I had to flash a zip, but which should I flash if I'm on V5?
I suppose this will only work on Sense ROMS?
Link ://d-h.st/foy v1-v4 its said but I installed the zip with v5 kernel runs great!
Flash (CWM/TWRP) compatible with this kernel postboot script and thermald.conf for better preformance and battery safe.
Flashed this over 1.84 with success. Quadrant is a couple hundred points higher without over clocking.

yeahh thats great !!
This bumped my score to 5456 on first Quadrant run, nice OCed to 1890 mhz
Edit: Clocked it down again to 1674 mhz and still got 5452? Probably due to GPU OC or something

how do overclock p6200 (ics)????
tegrak need to buy license?is there any way?
Write a kernel what can be overclocked, post it here, and you are good to go..
Anyhow, there is no need to overclock. Our Armv7 CPU and the Mali GPU is a killer in combination. Almost stronger than the tab 2. And you won't get tegra performance on a non tegra device anyways.

Try Paranoid Android 3.56 JB Custom ROM, its latest kernel overclocked our cpu to 1.5ghz and is pretty stable, the previous kernel was at 1.6 but that crashes the device and produces and beep sound like of a car being stoled xD

[Q] how to overclock samsung galaxy y duos s6102

My galaxy x duos is rooted. So i want to know how to increase its performance by increasing its ram and hz. It has 832 mhz processor and 290 mb ram.
If u have unlocked boot loader too u can flash a another kernel or if your current kernel allows it use antutu CPU master or trickster mod app

that probably means that your kernel does not allow overclocking.
try finding another kernel for your phone

You need to flash a OC enabled kernel to overclock beyond 832 MHz

as you are rooted,I would suggest you to flash a Custom ROM and then check if the kernel has OC(OverClock) capabilities
If your phone has Cyanogenmod ROM support then you can flash the CM ROMs like CM7 and overclock your phone as CM7 kernels mostly have overclockable capabilities
if the kernel supports OC then you can use any apps like SetCPU,Nofrills CPU or other app to overclock your phone
But make sure that you don't overclock the CPU to a very high value because that may overheat the phone and can cause hardware problems and other problems
There is currently no kernel available to overclock the Samsung Galaxy Y Duos.
Does techno duos OR gingericejelly support OC.
faster experience but shorter battery life. and overlock may lead damage to your device
