Directional Keys on Virtual Keyboard - Microsoft Surface

Guys,
I have left and right arrow Keys no my virtual keyborad. What about up and down?
I'm using us-internetional mapping.
Thanks

There's an "advanced keyboard" you can enable - I forget how, exactly - which has the full directional keypad. Once it's enabled, you'll have to select that keyboard from the upper-right-corner drop-down (same place you choose the standard one vs. the thumb keyboard vs. the handwriting recognition).

Go into Settings, Change PC Settings, Ease of Access. Change the "Pressing Windows + Volume Up will turn on" setting to "On-screen keyboard"
Then you can use the Windows + Vol Up key combo to bring up a full keyboard with all the direction keys.

Home / End keys?

Hello,
My netbook (Asus Eee 701) has a very similar key layout to Pro, with one huge difference: while on both the arrow up/down also serve as page up/down when fn key is pressed, on Eee the left/right keys work as home/end.
Is there a way to add that functionality to Pro's keyboard? Or is there already a shortcut to access home/end functions?
What I do now is use control + arrows to navigate word by word, it helps, but it's not ideal.
Thank you.

Device Unlock on i780 Key Combination Issue

Hi all, I'm trying to change the default "LEFT SOFTKEY > *" combo to unlock my device. Something else than *, which is very hard to find and press on my QWERTY keyboard. Maybe "LEFT SOFTKEY > SEND" would be nice.
Can this be done? Any help will be great.
I don't want to use touchscreen to unlock device, and I can't use END(red button) long press because I've reassigned both softkeys to left /right arrow keys through AEBPlus.

assign soft keys to shortcut

anyone know if it's possible to assign a shortcut to the softkey action
(ie. the softkeys are different in word to those on the today screen, can i assign a shortcut to that action)
i use a bluetooth keyboard which can be configured to any shortcut. it would be real handy to be able to just hit a couple of keys rather than reach for the devices tiny screen everytime i want to activate the menu.
cheers

External keyboard ALT+TAB

Hi there,
I am using a blutetooth keyboard on my note and I have the following problem:
In external keyboard helper pro is currently no way to assign recent apps to a key. If I ALT+TAB it brings up the recent apps menu, but only as long as I hold the ALT key. I can't navigate through that menu by either hitting the tab key or the arrow keys. If I click on the recent apps button on the touchscreen I can select the apps with the arrow keys. I am currently on HyperDrive Rom (samsung based) and I was on cm10.1 before, where ALT+TAB brought up a whole new screen (not the recent apps screen) which worked like on windows.
Any help?

[Feature request] Key mapping ability

Mapping hardware keys feature, like in many other ROMs, would be really useful feature. Who agrees, +1 pls!
Yes please,
e.g. the Find 7 has that old and never used "menu" button on the left.
Under Cyanogenmod/LineageOS I can modify this button, so it acts the "recent apps" button.
Although OmniROM allows to change the longpress of this button, the single press can't be changed and therefore still has the "menu" functionality. Quite annoying, because it's useless.
A manual workaround would be to edit the Generic.kl:
1. Open /system/usr/keylayout/Generic.kl in Text Editor.
2. Then scroll down to "key 139", this is the key for the hardware menu button. Right now it will say "MENU" next to it. Replace it with "APP_SWITCH" instead.
