Hi everybody.
When I open the default music player, all the songs that don't have covers show a cover of a random song, and that cover it's applied to every song that don't have cover.
Got that?
I'm running a Value Pack of Gingerbread.
Sorry for my bad English
Greetings!

Go to the music folder. Unhide hidden files. You will see the .jpg file which is repeated in the Music Player. Delete that. Refresh your mediastore. That should do it.

I did it many times. From the computer and using ES File Explorer. But there isn't any image file in the folder.
I have songs by Juanes, and the cover of those songs appear in every song without cover.
I flashed differents ROMs many times too, but still happening.
After doing the above thing, just see to it that there are no images in the folder where u have placed songs.. Or else, they will appear again..

Try editing covers with itag if you can..

I think that your problem is that your songs don't have album tag. I'm not sure about this but the music player set as album the name of the folder (surely music), and if it finds some song "with the same album" just take one cover. So my advice is to put album tag in your songs

There is an album art for every song in my library. And main tags (Artist, Album, Year etc) are there too. In that turn, songs are divided in folders like New, Foreign, National, OST and so on. And my music player mixing up album arts within the limits of one folder. Some of covers are at their places, but most are wrong. I've tried a lot of popular players, but the only one, that shows EVERYTHING right is PowerAMP, which is shareware. I've checked also are there hiding pics - nope.
What is the problem? Really need to know!
I have the same problem in stock rom

So, what are you using instead of music player? Or you just accept that and using stock?
I just accept it... sadly.

I know that is possible to put a ".nomedia" file, but this will hidden all content. I want to hidden the photos of the music album that are viewable in the gallery. How can solve this problem?

I don't understand. You have some pics in a folder which are the covers you want to hide, but some other pics you want to see in the gallery. Is this right? If so, why don't you create a subfolder for your covers and put a .nomedia into it?

I have a music folder with subfolder with different album. Inside there is music and photos of the album. This permits to show the album's photo in the music player. I don't want to see this photos in the gallery. If I put the nomedia file, I will not see both the music and photos in the player.

I know that Apollo automatically fetches images from the Net for you (I have no images in my music folder and some images are displayed in the music player).
Is this a valid option for you or do you absolutely want the photos that are adjacent to your music files ?
Thanks. I will try. I will post if it works.
EDIT: it works.

Basically here is the problem, I have 1,000+ songs without tags, IE Untitled.mp3 by Unknown Artist.
I am trying to use MP3 Album Cover Grabber but it only works with the Song name, Artist, and Album Tags already put in.
My current methood is using soundhound while playing the song, writting down the information and manually editing the tags (Really time consuming). Is there anything out there to automate this process?
Thanks
DroID3tagger from Google play is what your looking for. It uses a process similar to Soundhound, etc. to Id the unknown files

If you plan on using Google Play Music as your main music app you can upload your songs to Google and from there you can change the cover art and tags.

It looks to me like this is because they all have the same artist and album in the tags ("unknown artist" and "unknown album" at a guess based on your screenshot). Play Music, along with most MP3 players, will assume that all tracks in the same "album" have the same cover art (because one CD has one cover!). By the looks of things, the website you used to download the youtube audio track also took a frame for the video as the album art and Play Music is taking the art of the first track and applying for all of them.
The solution is to tag the artist and album title correctly in the ID3 tags. That way Play Music won't think they're from the same album and assign the same art.
To a certain extent, the album art is not the problem, it's the artist and album tags.
That image could be stored in the same directory where your music is causing this to happen

Buy the music from a legit source and it will have tags and cover art already
