[Q] Stock music player mixing up album art (covers) - Samsung Galaxy SL i9003

There is an album art for every song in my library. And main tags (Artist, Album, Year etc) are there too. In that turn, songs are divided in folders like New, Foreign, National, OST and so on. And my music player mixing up album arts within the limits of one folder. Some of covers are at their places, but most are wrong. I've tried a lot of popular players, but the only one, that shows EVERYTHING right is PowerAMP, which is shareware. I've checked also are there hiding pics - nope.
What is the problem? Really need to know!

I have the same problem in stock rom
Cheers

So, what are you using instead of music player? Or you just accept that and using stock?

I just accept it... sadly.

[Q] Android music player

This is just a general question so I hope I got the right area.
Well my "issue" with it right now is that I got a lot of comp discs on my phone I listen to, but it's annoying cause it lists them each as there own album, just with the same name. They all have the correct tags and album names, but for some reason when I goto the album view it shows them as each song being it's own album with the same name.
Any idea why it won't group them together properly?
So what music player do you guys prefer?
I like Google music app in the market, its free, works and looks good as well, its the same music player as used in ics. I like the cm7 music app, very simple and easy to use, also android music app in the market

[Q]Album Artwork not showing on Z-TR ROM

I was glad to use the Z-TR ROM but my music album artwork doesn't show on this ROM. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, is there a fix for it? Thank you
Try mediafix and album art grabber. Those two apps worked for me.

i'll be sure to try those when i flash back to Z-TR. But im not sure that'll work. My album artwork shows up on other roms. I looked at the media fix and it says its for m4a, most of my music is in mp3 format. I've tried Pimp mpy music (tag editor/album artwork) but it didn't work. the album artwork doesnt even show as the default picture for no album artwork, its just black. But next time i go back to Z-TR i will try them. Thanks

Apollo Music player in CM10 doesn't show album art

I mean it does, but only the ones it automatically downloads from the internet. I don't want those they're like 100X100 plus I don't want it downloading these things over mobile network. I have all my musics tagged with high resolution album art, I wanna see those.
of course, my files are tested and they work with other music players, some show reduced quality jpeg, but Nutron Players shows the origional.
Apart from completely unable to see any of my album covers, apollo is probably the best music player (yea I tried them all, 38 of them) on android. so I really want this to work for a perfect experience.
Same question/problem here...

Apollo is CM10's built in music app. Unfortunately you're the noob here, please use Google before you insult people...
would love to use the app but i like to add my own album art and i hate that it catches it for me
I've just taken to using play music, it works fine IMO and has better jb support.

Incorrect Covers in Music Player

Hi everybody.
When I open the default music player, all the songs that don't have covers show a cover of a random song, and that cover it's applied to every song that don't have cover.
Got that?
I'm running a Value Pack of Gingerbread.
Sorry for my bad English
Greetings!

Go to the music folder. Unhide hidden files. You will see the .jpg file which is repeated in the Music Player. Delete that. Refresh your mediastore. That should do it.

I did it many times. From the computer and using ES File Explorer. But there isn't any image file in the folder.
I have songs by Juanes, and the cover of those songs appear in every song without cover.
I flashed differents ROMs many times too, but still happening.
After doing the above thing, just see to it that there are no images in the folder where u have placed songs.. Or else, they will appear again..

Try editing covers with itag if you can..

I think that your problem is that your songs don't have album tag. I'm not sure about this but the music player set as album the name of the folder (surely music), and if it finds some song "with the same album" just take one cover. So my advice is to put album tag in your songs
