Hi!
I would like to announce my first game. Currently it is still under development. I hope it is allowed to make such advertising on this forum.
Description:
Apocalys is simple yet addictive logic game for Android platform.
Your goal is to cleanse rotten civilizations. However, the only acceptable way of doing this is total destruction of the planet.
You can achieve this by shooting deadly objects to planets, like meteors and comets but be careful about other planets with no life. They attract your projectiles with their gravity field, so it is not as simple as it seems. You will need to use objects like asteroids or probes to make your path of destruction.
I would be glad if you join FB page and stay tuned for news.
Look for apocalys2012 page.

Cheers.
Sounds interesting.. i will surely check this out when it is released..

Thank you. I will be glad. However there is still much work to do. My first game should not be released half-done.

Love the game play
New feature: wormhole. Works like portal or teleport. Check FB page for screenshot. Also the soundtrack is being composed right now. I think, it is very cool
Is this out already?
Looking forward to this

Hello Guy
I have being working this last 5 months in a game inspired heavily in the Advanced Wars series. I wanted to create a turn based strategy game as rich or even more than AW, with more types of terrain and units. As i really dont like spending on apps I will make this game free to play. As of now, the state in the game is still in development but I am expecting it finish it by the end of the summer.
For this game I had a series of goals:
-Fun (obviously)
-Scalable, support for small maps or huge big maps
-Customizable
-Multiplayer
-Intuitive control
By the state the game is now all of this goals seem really close. So I would like to hear also what the community has to say, what would they like in a turn-based strategy game like this.
Update:
Gameplay style:
As I mentioned before this game is inspired by Advance Wars, but I want to state clearly that this is not an AW clone. I want to make it my own game with my own touch for what I think will make it a game optimized for phones and tablets. Right now I have most of the ideas of how the game will work and how the gameplay style will be, but I also want to know what you fellow xda'ers think.
-The moving style is similar, to AW where you can move the unit to the desired tile and you can either choose your path or let the game decide the fastest path. The purpose of this is for more strategy reasons, the fastest way is not always the best.
-The units can perform an action(attacking, building, repairing, etc...) and move independently. This way you can also attack and then move.
-This buildings are independent from the terrain. I am planning on using cities as a source of income but units will be build using barrack that will be created by engineers.
-Engineer are one of the most important units, as they will create buildings for producing units, towers for defending, and com centers for support.
- I will still have naval and air units, and their behavior will be pretty much similar to the ones of AW.
With this changes I am planning on making the game more fast and strategic. So I want to hear what you guys have to say and if you think I should add something or remove something.
I will be posting more information soon.

I got an asus transformer and it scales perfectly for tablets.
Sounds cool, how about some screen shots?
swyped from a galaxy far far away
Never actually heard of Advance Wars, looked it up, now im quite excited.
Would love to see this game. Do post the screens soon!
please please no open feint. I hate this thing in ways unimaginable.
The logic of the game is almost done but I am still lacking some cool graphics. I will throw some advanced wars sprites and I will make some screenshots.
Ok one more update
The game itself is not near completion and I would rather not show any screenshot or videos as it doesnt have any feature that will set it apart from any other TBS. I will keep working on the game and probably by next week I can have something that is worth showing. Thank you all for your comments, I really appreciated.
Sounds like its going to be awesome, can't wait!

Do you need any help doing the artwork?
You had me at turn-based strategy. Hope to see something neat soon

One of the ideas I had was to make the game modular so that the instead of using and artwork set, the people in the comunity could create "texture pack" to change the look and feel of the game. But for now I need some sprites at least for making the first public demos of the game, intead of use the Advanced Wars sprites. If you know how to do graphics design I would be really pleased to have your coopertion. If you are intersted PM me back and we can figure something out.
Thank you for the interest.
Just an update,
I have being really busy moving to a new apartment so I havent got time to work too much on the game and the screenshots this last week. I am almost done with unpacking so soon I will bring more info.
Sounds good. I will test when its available. PM me when you need testers...

It's a Gameboy Advance game series--two games, both rather excellent.

Hello, I would like to present a game that I have developed for Android. It is free and it's my first game: Time4Destroy.
You can download it on the Market, here are a qr code for fast download and a screenshot of it.
Any comments for improvement are welcome.
Thank you.

Dl now...will report back...looks fun.
Not bad at all! Kind of like reverse tetris with a touch screen friendly ui. Definitely a good time waster. Thank you for putting full volume controls in, my boss frowns on gameplay at work.
i've only played the first 3 levels, but so far I like it. It's alot like my wife's favorite psn mini game, which I cannot remember the name right now. And I think that there is also an old popcap game that's similar. But that's not a bad thing.
The only suggestion I have is to space the buttons out a little more across the bottom. They just seem a little cramped when I try to play a little faster.
not my type of game. maybe a good time waster. great job anyway.
thanks for your comments!
Merry Xmas and play Time4Destroy!
It's free!
Game looks good but requires too much permission. Why it wants to reed my contacts???

By scoreloop. You can share your score with your friends or with another people all over the world.
Play Time4Destroy and see it.
Thanks for your comment.
Hey!
I played it now to level 6 - I really like the game concept and it gets quite addictive!
If you would like to improve the game, I'd suggest to improve the gfx.
Anyways, great work
Cheers!
Thanks! I wait your good comment on android market

Myself and a few guys from my work have started to make games. We start with a mechanic then make a game with a time budget of around 24 working hours. Our First game is ChickMagnet Let me know what you think
Until I post 10 or more replies I can't post links you can search chickmagnet in the playstore though
Well made and Fun but a little difficult. I wish the bombs had some precedence when picking up things. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.GhostMoth.ChickMagnet
I hope that's the link
Thanks for the link!
Game is very nice with cute graphics
Has a lot of potential of becoming the next mainstream game

Fun Game
Thanks for the link, the game is fun and pretty hard until you get the better magnets.
No idea what the last magnet is, haven't got there yet....
Thanks for the feedback, we will be updating and improving the game play while developing our other games. It has been interesting watching other people play, some struggle with the first magnet and others have no problem. Physics are always tricky
Hello guys ! We've just released Planet Leap. It's our first game and we've been working on it for the past couple of months. We are really happy with the final result and are looking forward to hear your thoughts about it!
Planet Leap is a fast-paced endless game with frantic gameplay. Your mission? Escape from the Black Hole leaping from one planet to another. There are more than 20 characters and 3 different levels of difficulty you can unlock. We've integrated Leaderboards and Achievements, you can also record and share your games with Everyplay.
You can download the game from Google Play, I don't have enough post to post outside links so I can't give you the direct link to Google Play. You can find it using "Planet Leap" in the search box.
I hope you like it :fingers-crossed:!
Hey, great game, great idea/concept. My 7 year old is itching to play it too. The physics and anticipation of when to leap to the next planet are well thought/planned out. I think you have a great product.

Hello. Device ID is used to track stats of how you use our game so we can use that information to improve it (all this information is always anonymous and can't be linked to you). Call information is used by our 3rd party AD providers to know when you get a call so the ad stops, it doesn't know who is calling you, just that you are receiving a call.
I hope you decide to finally give the game a try
Nice
An efficient time killer, right there
Amazing game, i really love it!
Greate! i play in this game nonstop)
cool

Hi guys,
Over the last 2-3 years, I've been working on a new Android game currently code-named Postero and I'm now (finally) looking for alpha testers. See a few early screenshots attached. I've always been interested in astronomy and, in fact, a lot of the in-game background are my own astrophotography images
Postero is a multiplayer, turn-based game of skill and strategy set in space. You can engage in battle with a varied fleet of ships, earn credits to upgrade, customise and purchase new ships.
In Postero, you take turns firing against your opponent under the influence of gravity (inspired by the classic game "Grav War"); curve a torpedo around a planet to hit your enemy, then advance to the move phase to re-position your ship. Graphics are 3D, game-play is 2D.
The game is currently in an Open Alpha state and I'd greatly appreciate your help refining, identifying bugs and generally improving the game.
If you'd like to take part and help me out, please download the game here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=shibby.postero
Many thanks!
Lewis

I'd love to try and play your game.

Thanks very much! I have just dropped you both a PM with details.
If anyone else would like to try, please do let me know - it's primarily a multiplayer game so the more testers the better!
Thanks
Here's a few more screenies to try and attract a bit more interest
Download the game, but could not sign in to the game services. Gave it a few attempts, but no joy

Hi,
This suggests maybe I haven't got the right email address entered for you - can you double check this is the same as the one registered to the Android device you're trying it on? Thanks.
Good news! "Postero" is now in Open Alpha
This means, no faffing, you can go straight here to download and try out the game:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=shibby.postero
I'd greatly appreciate the help of you good people getting this game rounded off!
Thanks.
Hi All. Sorry to bump, but it's been well over a year!
I think I'm almost ready to release this game now, so I'd massively appreciate it if some of you good folk could jump in for a final round of Alpha testing.
Remember, you can download the game directly from the Play Store here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=shibby.postero
Thanks!
Just laughing at my previous post from over a year ago that states "I'm almost ready to release this game". Ahaha!
Anyway, I've recently crushed loads of bugs and also added a new, improved tutorial to the game that should make it much easier for new plays to get going. Please try it out when you have a chance.
If you'd like to give me a match, my in-game handle is just "shibby".
Thanks!
