FYI, watched a movie on crackle last night (Step Brothers). I hooked my phone up to my TV via HDMI, and it worked fine. the only issue was that I got no audio, so I had to connect the headphone jack to my Home Theatre System, and all was good from there.
had to sit through a commercial or two a few times, but that was it. streamed fine.

yeah - had to get from another site. forgot the sight - but got from a droid forum.
I was able to download the apk to my pc and move to my sd card and install from there. I got it from this link (though I had to sign in using my google account). http://www.1mobile.com/crackle---movies--tv-96544.html
installed successful and the app opened. haven't tried to watch anything yet.

On Infused it works fine, but sometimes does not connect properly. I am going to try it on Dlev 5 in a little bit.
Skype sucks on the Infuse.... Fring works much better..... Tango is OK too...
If you absolutely must have skype..... Well.... Be prepared for it to be hit or miss....

The best video chat for infuse is Google chat. It has best quality video and sound. It lets you video threw ur google talk (gtalk). Here is download link. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1244114) when you install this open the google talk app before u run this other app. because for some reason it looked like it deleted gtalk off my phone but i held down my home key and pressed gtalk and it came back on then you just sign it and there you go. I believe this might work with connecting to people on computers.

I'm on Syn-r50 as well.. You're using a hard wire not bluetooth correct? (as they had some problems previously with bluetooth that should be fixed now)
Does your Headphone mic not pick up (aka using mic in phone) or is any mic not working when you plug them in?
Cheers.
its been a big issue I've seen everywhere, a lot of headphones with controltalk don't work for calls and all. I've been going through headphones trying to find some that do. I'm now using the iBeats by Dre that come with the HTC Rezound and can confirm they work 100%. I'm running Synergy 1.7
It's hard wire I believe it can pick up and it pauses music but the call go to the phone

Yeah may be a question for the more technical savvy ROM people, there could be some drivers that never got included needed for the whole headohone thing.
Cheers.

I have this issue with my stock rom and its annoying as hell. Don't want to dish out the $$ for a BT piece and I love my handsfree bose wired headphones w/mic. It worked fine on my other phones but not on the S3, which seems to be a common issue. I wonder if anyone has gone to Verizon about this? I might swing by their store tomorrow.
I am on stock non rooted (yet) and I can tell you that my Skull Candy 50/50 can't be used for calls. Music listening only. But the headphones provided with the GSIII work. So based on what I'm reading, only certain headphones are compatible for calls.
Correct me if I'm wrong. Please

Not sure how many people have seen this, but they just updated it and it's working flawlessly on my GS3. I downloaded an app from the PlayStation Store and it downloaded fine, installed fine, and it plays fine. The app was a free one called Everybody's Arcade, but as a proof of concept that works for me. Now to start buying apps!!

Agreed.. lol.. I was on Sprint forever so I never really comprehended the whole Wifi not being the best, but I've been on Verizon for a few months and all I can say is wow..

what rom are you running? cause i just get an error after downloading.
nevermind. i got it working. seems rather lame though at this point. hope it gets better
Did you flash the certs? Also, the app will update itself and that new version is the one that works perfectly. The certs have to be flashed first though. The androidcenteral link should have them.
Just a minor bug I have noticed in this otherwise excellent ROM. It seems that the USB host isn't working correctly on my tab. It constantly disconnects and reconnects both with a USB drive and a mouse. I am using an el cheapo ebay adapter btw. This works fine on stock ICS and PAC. Incidentally, the Samsung keyboard works perfectly but the problem is duplicated when the adapter is plugged in to the keyboard. Another minor bug, (I am sorry of this has been asked before), but 5ghz wifi doesn't seem to work.
Anyone else flashed this and noticed these little bugs? Otherwise, this ROM is cracking, really smooth and even smart stay works!!
Cheers guys,
ATB,
Karlsbug
Still away and not yet able to flash.
What can say is that there are posts regarding 5GHz Wi-Fi band with the P6800 4.1.2 JB. This "bug" is probably related to the firmware itself or modem/region incompatibility. Some have been lucky to fix it with a simple factory reset, others not.
The USB dis/re-connect may be kernel and or mount point related. I don't know for sure until I can test and replicate.

After a busy week tonight was the only free night I had. I tried all of your suggestions, thanks for those, I couldn't get it to work. I think I followed all the steps correctly, no joy. So I just thought flash the deodex version, bingo! 5ghz appeared straight away. No problems with connection at all. I have just to test the usb host issue now, will update asap. All seems to working ok on the new version, multiwindow is good. Nice white background on settings, and no mini apps, excellent.

Sounds silly, but just hoping I have the 5GHz problem after I flash. I'd like to get to the bottom of it. Will be taking a look at weeks end.
Only have a OEM adapter to test. Hopefully OK.

Hello everyone, forgive me if this has been asked before, I searched and found nothing similar so here goes.... Just got new Verizon HTC ONE M8 on Saturday and love the phone but would love to know how to increase volume for bluetooth specifically but all volumes would be handy to boost if possible. Anyone know what system file(s) dictate volume levels? Thanks!
I just hooked up my Bluetooth to my ear and its pretty loud.

You may consider using the "HTC car" app if it is available with the M8. It worked for me with the One (M7). See M7 post:
