NFL mobile app

So a couple weeks ago someone gave me the NFL mobile app that apparently only Verizon phones use. I ran it perfectly until tonight it wouldn't start up because I'm not on Verizon service. Is there a fix to this? If not does anyone hve the Sprint NFL apk because mine opens then automatically closes. Thanks

WOW hope someone helps you looks like no one has the answer... did you try to google it or look in the android themes and apps forum. People may not be helping you because they dont think you did any research...IMO

Do a 'Search This Forum' and search NFL. Have it show posts. You'll fine one with a nflusa apk to install. I hope this helps!

Try going to manage applications and clear the data for the app...or uninstall it and reinstall it..

I just downloaded it from the "show off app" thread. Its working fine on my Evo. Pm if you still need it and ill email it. Late.

Duke Nukem 3D Side Loads Fine Onto Fire

I went to grab the new Duke Nukem from the market with my Kindle, but it told me it wasn't compatible with my device, so I downloaded it with my phone and side loaded it to my kindle with no problem. Runs just as good on the KF, as on my phone, but that's not really saying much. Controls are wonky at best, but still kind of fun.

When i run it, it says I didn't buy it and a screen wide pop up keeps popping up repeating that, makes it unplayable.

If you have a friend or family member with a "compatible" device, you could log into it with your gmail and get it that way. They would need root though to grab the .apk for transfer.

I bought it on my phone now since its FREE today. Now gonna transfer to my Fire later on and see if that works.
Using his link to the FREE game did not work.

Yea it works. Buy it on your phone, then use root explorer to find the duke apk file(its a private one for some reason and can't be backed up like other apks i have).
Once i found the apk, I copied it and paste it in my download folder, then uploaded it to box app. Then download it onto my fire using box and it works fine.

Wondering what qualifies as a compatible device, perhaps a bit of build.prop modification could let me download to my KF as it's the only android device I have?

Apologies, didn't know it was FREE today.

NFL.com Fantasy App

Anyone having any issues with this app? I'm running SynergyRom 1.6 and noticed today that clicking on links in the app does nothing.

Yes, the app is a POS. It's like it's a browser to their web site not a native app.

On stock rooted no problem here just a little laggy, but that's because this apk sucks in general for what it is.

I actually sent feedback through the NFL.com site and had a short email conversation with (presumably) one of the devs or customer service or whoever is running things for NFL.com Fantasy. They asked if I had downloaded the 2012 app which I replied with a yes and then described my problem with being unable to click links and that I thought it was sort of a shoehorned effort that looked like it was just pulling info as if it was on a browser and not an app.
The guy was nice and seemed to acknowledge my problem (even with my message title being "The fantasy app is terrible") and then apologize since they're still relatively new to it (3 years he said)...don't know how far it'll go but hey at least they're open to feedback? Maybe if enough people message them through the site they'll get the point better since they haven't updated the app since the beginning of the month.

Yea i was disappointed in the apk. This is my first year using them my league for the last 8 years used cbs and the NFL website is much nicer but the apk is worse than cbs i thought and cbs wasn't exactly great itself either I'll try shooting then an email too. I did notice i joined a 2nd league through them and i had to sign in and out to get the apk to refresh and show the new league.

Yea I used the app last season for fantasy and had no issues. That was on a rooted incredible with a custom rom. So not really sure what the deal is this year.

just wanted to jump in here and say that I'm having the same problems on my gnex and my gtab. both running custom ROMs and can't click on anything within the app.
to make matters worse, the mobile site won't let me click anything either unless I long press and open in a new tab.
possibly the worst experience I've ever had.

Same here, app worked fine last year and now its buggy and slow. Was on a different device last year though...

thought id report back with what ive found.
it looks like running an adblocker (adfree or adaway) causes the buttons to become unclickable. Disabling the adblocker gets the app to work for me again.
I'm trying to find the proper hostnames to add as exceptions in adaway but am having no luck. anyone happen to know??

I can confirm that disabling my adfree also fixed issues with the app.

Same here with my SGSII, I disabled ad blocking software and it works fine now. Guess NFL.com is making us see the adds or the app won't work...

Being more specific: I was running adFree. Installing the app alone won't work. If you're using this app, use the "restore hosts" button before you uninstall it. Or keep the app if you'd like, just remember to restore hosts file before you run the Fantasy app

You sir, are a scholar AND a gentleman. This is EXACTLY the problem I have had for YEARS! I had suspected adfree so had uninstalled it but still couldn't click on any of the links. Re-installing, reverting hosts, then uninstalling again was the ticket. Now I don't have to hear the "dude why did you do a freaking NFL.com league again their app blows...." [Q] CM10 + Firefox = Crashes?

Is anyone else using Firefox on CM10? It seems it can't handle being open longer than a minute or two (on any page) before it crashes, and I'm just curious if anyone else is using CM10 and has experienced the same problem. It doesn't appear to happen on Sense or CM9-based ROMS.

Yup I was getting this as well, I just went back to stock browser.

If that is still holding true than it looks like it's a bug in FF 15 that makes it not like CM10 for some reason. Oh well, as long as it's fixed in the new version I'm happy!

Using ff beta doesn't help :-[

I tried both the current version and the latest beta as well with no success. It'll work on first launch flawlessly but every time after crashes almost immediately.

We believe this was an issue on our side (Mozilla) and is now fixed on our developer channel. Can you try out a Nightly build now (http://nightly.mozilla.org) and report back if things are fixed for you?

After spending some minutes browsing with multiple tabs, not a single crash has been seen, so I think you get rid of that bug in last nightly. :highfive:

Once you have Pandown running, start up Pandora, then refresh the list once it starts playing
You can preview songs before downloading them, since its not yet possible to get track info outside of Pandora.

Yes my Galaxy S3 is rooted and I see superuser granted permissions to the app... I have JB 4.2.2 on Pacman ROm

One thing that may help is rebooting your device, starting pandora then the downloader and see if it picks it up from there. One other question is which version of Pandora do you have? I've tested this on Pandora versions 4.2, 4.1, and 1.6. This was also working on my Nexus 4 on 4.2.2.

Just rebooted and restarted Pandora then pandown but it still does not show a list when the song play..do I need to let the song finish then refresh the list?
My Pandora was the latest on play store.

When it force closes, can you send in a crash report that I can skim through? Ill set up a few different emulators and some of the phones I have lying around to see if I can track down what's going on with it too. Thanks for the info guys

Mine doesn't force close... Just doesn't give me anything.
