recently I updated my phone ( si9003 _ 2.3.6) using samsung kies , then I tried to root it using Odin but my wifi didn't work at all, tried to wipe cach
but still noghing.I tried using superoneclick but nothing happened.... any ideas ??
Baseband version : I9003 JXKP3
Kernel version : [email protected]#1
Build number : Gingerbread. JPKPM
First of all I suggest to update to the last release of gingerbread: 2.3.6 firware. You can do it connnecting the phone via Kies or dowloading the 2.3.6 that you want (LF2 is the best in my opinion).
Then you have to flash with odin the cf-root for rooting your device. Use the search function for a guide if your are not comfortable with the procedure..
Cheers and good luck

I am new on android platform and i have some general questions.
For example, when i want to flash my kernel, is this kernel only for an especially firmware or can it be used for all firmwares ? I am from Germany and android 4.0.3 isnt published for my sgs 2 i9100g yet. So i flashed with odin 1.85 the original but indian firmware . Then i wanted to flash lucifr's kernel, but when odin was ready and it was succeed, my phone stucks in boot screen . Did i do something wrong ?
And when i fix this problem, should itry it a second time ? Sorry for my bad english

This is 2.3.6 but no, I'm not sure how the installation is done, sorry.
However, if you'd like.. try DDLF2. Follow the exact instructions. I hope you know how to flash stock firmwares using Odin? If not, PM me. And then root it.
Once you're done rooting the firmware, flash this via Clockwork Mod recovery. If you don't know how, again, PM me.
Then, flash this. It's got Arabic support and plus other cool mods like swipe to clear notifications and more.

I dont understand. If you cant help then why bother?
yciessai considerable
As per my understanding if you want to use the jelly bean then you have to Flash the stock ROM using ODIN software as you don't have the update...you can either get the stock from from sammobile website or you can check this website or Google to find the ROM for your version...
Infact I too have samsung galaxy and I have flashed the ROM many times and rooted...it works but before that you need to read and understand before you can or else you will brick your phone

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. If I understand you, you want to remove the custom flag. Read through this and see if it will work on your device,http://www.xda-developers.com/triangleaway-reset-flash-counter-tool/
