Possible to re-run aroma installer? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

I just installed CR 5.0 and I selected some bloat that I don't want any more in aroma. I I can't get rid of it anymore. Is it possible to rerun it? I do I have to re flash?

You can just wipe caches and reflash ROM. You'll have all your data but not the bloat you don't want.
Or use something like titanium backup to just uninstall the bloat you don't want.

Thanks for the quick reply but I have a very nooby question. How do you use titanium to backup and restore. I thought I new how to do it but It ended up not working. I saved my backup to my sdcard and tried to restore right from there. Any help on what to do is appreciated.

Settings>Applications>Manage application>All>DMClient>Clear data
Then if you are rooted you can freeze dmclient with titanium backup or just switch to a custom Rom

Thanks for asking this, I wanted to do the same as I just rooted and it was trying to update already.
Titanium Backup does not have the freeze feature on the free version.
I ended up using an App called Root Uninstaller

If you also stop the application here then it will never run again (also after reboot).
But when you want it back just use the check update under about tablet.
Worked on mine TF.
You then don't need Titanium Backup for this.

CWM Question

Hey guys, so I have a question for all you that flash lots of roms.
I am currently using StockRom, but I would like to try Sky-ICS.
However, I have my current rom setup exactly how I like it, so if I do a backup through CWM or the backup manager app, and I don't like Sky-ICS, will restoring my rom bring everything back exactly how it was? Or will I have to re do my settings, and re download my apps?
It will be just like it was when you left if. That's one of the beauties of the backup. That and it can save your butt.

+1. That's what I did at first. I've now moved onto the JMT rom.
Use Titanium Backup, you can uninstall just about anything, and because you can uninstall just about anything you want to make sure you know what you are deleting is non-essential.

Which stock apps is safe to uninstall

Hi guys, I am using a rooted T-Mobile Galaxy s2 with CM10 stable custom rom. I want to know if it is safe to uninstall all the bloatwares I had freeze while using the rooted stock rom.

If you're on cm 10, you shouldn't have anymore bloatware. Did you restore apps from the stock rom?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747
it depends on which apps the ROM creator might have put in the /system/app folder.
Mostly they won't as it's a wastage of space.
So do some research in google before you uninstall any system app.
I used Titanium backup while in stock and I still see the bloatware in the Titanium app in custom now though still freezed. That's why I taught maybe its still eating out on my space.

You shouldn't have backed up system apps. Only downloaded apps.

Restoring mb1 nandroid

Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
I'm on md3 and it sucks, so I was wondering since I made a nandroid of mb1 should I dirty flash it, and is there a way to get the apk for multi window and the new gallery to add to the previous?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
No your phone will just bootloop abd you can't restore a nandroid without it wiping because a nandroid will wipe your current setup. Just use a custom rom many rom's on here have mulitwindow and note 2 gallery that are on mb1. You can't just pull out the apk for mulitwindow it's not that easy it requires framework modifications.. Lots of it.
