So no ideas ????

people just read for gods sake ..i successfully downgraded...but the tutorial u r using is for BRICKED PHONES BRICKED PHONES NOT TO DOWNGRADE ..IF U WANNA DOWNGRADE DO IT WITH THE NORMAL LG FLASH TOOL
Sent from my LG-P920 using xda app-developers app

Here is how I did it :
1. Flash BOOTV21E ROM bin file with LG Flash Tool, just the way you flashed ICS bin before.
2. After the flashing end, flash the same way the baseband file your going to use.
3. Enjoy Gingerbread.
I didn't reinstall windows or omap drivers or anything. Used the same drivers an LG flash tool that I used for ICS.
About the constant connect/disconnect - I have the same problem, no idea why this is happening. So here is what I do - Start flashing, disconnect the phone, then i DONT remove the battery, just reconnect while pressing VOL+ and keep pressing it until I see in device manager port 41, after that everything goes fine.

There are few devices that cant downgrade.. so if you flash bootv21e and your phone doesnt start then you are stuck with the ics port till somebody find a fix for that :/
Sent from my P920 using ICS 4.0.4 by XBSA

I downgrage success!
But that finished downgrage it reported SD card is not Damaged, so to reformat.
You should make a copy of all data and stored on your computer.
Guide: Solution
LG FlashTool will recognise the phone and flash it completely this time.
P920 after a reboot will go to CWM. You can flash your personal backup or reboot to STOCK V21E.
Thanks xbsall! :good:

Try this;
Be sure ported ics is installed.
Ready the gb rom with lg flash tool
Shut it down.
Remove the battery.
Ready the battery to be put back in.
Connect the usb cable while holding down volume +
Wait for the second connected sound.
When you hear it put the battery back in.
It should go into download mode with some korean s
uff on the screen.
Flashtool will take over and flash the gb.
What we did is we skipped omapboot because the device is already able to enter the download mode , therefore not really bricked...
The guide is for bricked devices that cannot go into download mode.
Good Luck

If you're stuck in the LG logo then it should be able to enter the download mode.
Find a bin rom or kdz other than v21e then flash it , see if it works.
Also could be because of Win 7 or x64 , mine was XP.
Create another partition install xp in there and dual boot to Xp.
I did this and mine downgraded.

The clicking at the right arrow is just a reference to the normal way you activate the flash with lgflashtool.
I just suggested a secure way to flash, in case your flash goes not fine.
Last message when you are flashing baseband must be "Invalid ap path" and after you flash the bin file must be target resetting or reset.
We are talking here about o3ds that wont boot after installing gb...i have 2 o3d one of them downgraded successfully with lg flash tool but the other one just doesnt boot after flashing it with lg flash tool
And the flashing proccess finishes correctly but the phone doesnt boot up not even lg..but if i flash ics it works perfectly and biits normally..i tried both smartflash and lg kdz flash but i just cant downgrade

Once again I must remind to all of you that this method of downgrading/resurrection won't work for everyone. There are "a few" devices that need a different bin file so if you are "certain" that you did everything right but your phone doesnt start with BOOTV21E and only starts with ported ICS you need that specific bin (which is not available because nobody who had the same problem made it).

Technically is a matter of board revision, sector of memory or similar issue?
Don't know cause I never had the chance to troubleshoot it or spend some time on a device with this specific problem so anything I say will be wrong.
Well I am sure I have done every thing right I flashed bootv21e more than 9 times yesterday with different scenarios ...and tried 21e kdz and tried using smart flash but still can't boot the device ...but once I flash ice the device boots properly..
.I think the problem is in the partition because when boot21e is installed and won't boot I tried wpkark alternate boot and boot.king won't flash due to partition doesn't exist.. and recovery flashes but also never starts it just shows loading and the device turns off ...SO I THINK THE PROBLEM IS IN THE PARTITIONS ..any ideas will be help full and I will try them..

B) INSTRUCTIONS:
1- Install LG Drivers: Extract "LG Driver.zip" and install both "LG Drivers (1)" and "LG Drivers (2)".
2- Remove the battery and plug your phone with usb cable into your PC WHILE holding vol-up. OMAP4430 device will appears, you must install the usb_drv_windows driver included in Omap4boot ( In windows 7, if OMAP4430 device appear for seconds and then disappear in your Windows Device Manager, run a cmd as an admin and type :" SET DEVMGR_SHOW_NONPRESENT_DEVICES=1 " and press enter, then type :" devmgmt.msc " and press enter. Choose View, Show Hidden Devices, you will see now your hidden OMAP4430 device. You may now proceed to the driver installation). Keep the Windows Device Manager opened.
3- Run start_fastboot.bat and select the option depending on your device model from Omap4boot folder.
4- With the battery still removed, hold vol-up, connect your phone using the usb cable and KEEP HOLDING vol-up.
If you get "error 121", use the optional omap4boot (EMU version) and choose option 3
5- The usbboot will start, insert the battery.
6- Your phone is now in download mode.

}
7- Open device manager, select the LG port and open its properties by a right-click. Go to port settings tab, then click on advanced button. When you see a drop down menu, click on it and change the port number to com41.
Steps From 8 to 15 are for P920/5 only:
8- Unplug the usb cable, then run OS_HACKING tool.
9- Pull out the battery, hold vol-up and connect your phone using the usb cable but don't keep on holding vol-up after plugging the usb cable after putting the battery.
10- Your phone should be now in fastboot mode.
11- In device manager, you will see LG COSMO, install now its driver which is included in OS_HACKING package.
12- Now one more time run OS_HACKING tool, hold vol-up and connect your phone using the usb cable but don't keep on holding vol-up after plugging the usb cable after putting the battery. Your phone shou be in fastboot mode now.
13- Flash the GB bootloaders then flash CWM recovery.
14- Unplug the USB cable. Remove then insert your battery. If your phone boots, follow the next steps, if not, go back to download mode from omap4boot and flash your ROM (in ROM COPY TAB) using smartflash which won't be able to complete the flashing process. Then continue to the next steps (this method actually worked for me but don't forget to open windowsenabler before ).
15- If you can access cwm recovery, then you can try flashing a ROM or you can follow my next steps.
Steps from 16 to 18 are for SU760 only:
16- Run start_fastboot.bat and select the option depending on your device model from Omap4boot folder.
17- With the battery still removed, hold vol-up, connect your phone using the usb cable but DON'T HOLD vol-up.
18- You should be now in fastboot mode. Now from the platform-tools folder, press the right-click button and open command window here, then type the following commands:
fastboot flash x-loader files\.....\x-loader.bin
fastboot flash u-boot files\....\u-boot.bin
fastboot flash boot files\....\boot.img
fastboot flash recovery files\....\cwm.img
19- If you can access cwm recovery, then you can try flashing a ROM or you can follow my next steps.
20- Now open windowsenabler in smartflash folder then run smartflash. Choose your ROM in ROM COPY TAB.
21- Plug your phone without the battery while holding vol-up and wait till LG mobile USB SERIAL PORT gets recognized (if not try to release vol-up then hold vol-up then release it again). Try also to insert battery in after plugging your phone if it doesn't work. You might find sometimes that the 3D button will work for you, you just have to try
22- Smartflash will now recognize the port, you are in download mode but with a black screen on your phone. Now you can then start flashing process ( sometimes the device gets disconnected after 1 minute though it shouldn't do that, so just repeat the flashing process again. Usually this download mode with black screen on your phone lasts LONG ).
23- Now after finishing the process, sometimes the phone doesn't boot, just flash gb bootloaders once again.
24- CONGRATULATIONS !! YOU HAVE RESCUED YOUR LOVELY OPTIMUS 3D !!!
(If you lost your IMEI, follow this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1734330)

If you have a P920/5, you can actually use this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1963847 , it's quite smooth I've tried it.
If you have a SU760, I think that this jellybean ROM would be better CM10 : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2100611

What you have to, like I said, is berfore using OS_HACKING tool, try to flash a ROM bin file using smartflash which will basically
flash some necessary partitions, then you shall use OS_HACKING tool.

Try to flash cwm recovery then GB bootloaders.
If it doesn't work try to flash ICS bootloaders if you were using ICS before.
If nothing works skip this step and check if you are able to access the BLACK SCREEN DOWNLOAD MODE in next steps.
Hopefully this will work
Thanks. I am going to try this. Been bricked now for two weeks, and I have no success with other threads.

Try using the all in one toolkit. Also there are certain Places your phone has to be for certain steps. I believe for boot loader you have to have adb debugging on and in either charge only mode or mount storage mode

If your computer's software is having problems connecting to your phone you need to make sure your drivers are installed correctly, and make sure the USB cable you are using supports adb and fastboot commands (try a different cable). Some cables wont work with adb, it's always best to use the stock cable from HTC.
Also if your trying to do the ota. Phone must have the stock recovery
Manually get phone in bootloader connect the cable. Get in fastboot USB mode. Then flash manually or via toolkit.

[GUIDE] Flash/Upgrade Lenovo A369i with Stock Firmware - Lenovo A369i_ROW_S108_130929

Ever wonder how to do it?
You might have done something wrong... You might have tweak something bad... You might have deleted some files... You might have done that all accidentally...
Have NO FEAR... You can now START A NEW BEGINNING...
Disclaimer:
I will not be responsible however if you brick your phone. :fingers-crossed:
Here's how:
First, you need to download a stock firmware Lenovo A369i_ROW_S108_130929.
That RAR file will contain 3 folders - namely: Lenovo A369i_ driver file, Lenovo A369i_Software Upgrate Tool and Target_bin. Extract all of them in a convenient directory to work on.
The first thing we need to work on is the drivers for the phone. We will install it first before everything else. To install it, REMOVE BATTERY of phone.
Open Device Manager.
Expand Ports (COM & LPT)
Plug in USB cable. And quickly look for a device which has a name of Preloader that will be installing, but Windows could not find its driver.
For just... like 3 seconds from the moment you plug in USB cable to the phone, it will be gone. So, you need to be fast. Before it will be gone, right click it and click Update Driver. Choose manually install driver and point it to the directory folder Lenovo A369i_ driver file. Now, you will have MediaTek Preloader USB VCOM Port.
Next is the Software Upgrade Tool. Open the folder Lenovo A369i_Software Upgrate Tool and run Flash_tool.exe
Click File -> Open Scatter-loading File... -> browse to the folder Target_bin and click the file MT6572_Android_scatter.txt
Check the box DA DL All With Check..
Unplug USB cable.
Plug it again and after 1.5 sec (you need to be fast), click Download.
If you did it right it will start downloading files into phone. This will let us avoid future errors like error in partition in SDCARD. Wait for the GREEN CIRCLE to pop out.
14. After that, uncheck the box DA DL All With Check.
Unplug USB cable, then plug it again, for 1.5 sec click Firmware -> Upgrade button.
Wait for it, it will take time. Even if it shows 0% it is still working its magic. You just need to wait for the GREEN CIRCLE to pop out.
After that, unplug USB cable.
Put battery on.
Turn on phone.
Wait for it, and BOOM!!!
I am making this guide in case in the future I accidentally destroyed my phone and I forgot to fix it.

Lenovo claims to have done some performance enhancements to their software, besides slapping in a "Powered by Android" logo as per Google's recent licensing mandate. Same installation instructions as usual, and as in my case you may have to reflash your MAC/IMEI address to get rid of the NVRAM error.

A369i wont bbot after flashing this rom.. HELP...!!!
I previously had my new lenovo a369i[bought in september 2014] stuck at boot logo due to installing CF3D which wasn compatible with it. Thn i tried to flash TWRP recovery through SP Flash tool which wasn successful as it always showed "PMT error" which i guess was due to different version of preloader as i figured it out that i need a different scatter file but cudn find any unfortunately. I believe my rom had build version like 's201'. Now i have a question, Does the preloader differ with every build..? As i have seen people successfully flashing other stock firmware but when i flashed the rom given in this thread, it was successful but my phone now even wont turn on.. Someone please help me by providing the backup file of preloader and scatter which i can flash to this phone . Or maybe provide me with idea of what should i do. I read on some forums that flashing through SP Tools a backup of the same model phone can unbrick it. But unfortunately no one i know owns this phone here. It wud be a great help if some provides scatter and preloader or possibly even a stock rom which will fix it.

Yeah s201 will not support many custom rom , this may cause bootloop go to this site and downgrade your system to s110 if you want to install custom rom http://lenovo369i.blogspot.in/2014/02/how-to-update.html?m=1

[Q] HELP! LG Optimus 3D won't start (HARD BRICKED)

Hi! Got major problem. Recently I tried putting TWRP to my ICS 4.0.4 LG P920. I installed it (don't remember the TWRP version) but not quite correctly. If I try any ROM to install I always get in to statuts 7 error. If I try to run into reovery from ROM manager I get lying down Android with red triangle and a exclamation mark. I only managed to get in to recovery by POWER + VOLUME DOWN. But it still won't allowed me to install other ROM's such as Jellybean etc. Cache cleaning and Dalvik didn't helped. So I thought I will try this program http://theunlockr.com/2012/11/07/how-to-install-clockworkmod-recovery-on-the-lg-optimus-3d/ because it looked the easy way.
THE PROBLEM:
So I ran the program and chose to install LG Stock Recovery. It showed installation was successful. But now when I try to turn on the phone it goes in to restart loop (when on cord). Shows LG logo and restarts other and other and other. . . Can't even get into recovery. If plugged off and pressing power it shows logo and turn off.
Any advice would be VERY appreciated.
Tried this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2246001
Fastboot runs successfully but at the end my phone just vibrates but no LG logo shows up

Anyone?
Try flashing 4.0.4 using the flashtool, then use OS-Hackings tool to install cwm recovery and wkparks bootloader if you want.

Hi! I will try, but not sure if could do it with some missing images of instructions. Also, tried soldering 4 and 5 pins with 910 Kohm (it supposed to turn Lg phone in download mode), nothing happened.

If you are able to get into recovery, and get status 7 error, it usually means that the recovery is not compatible. If you want to install ics again just use the aio tool the last version is easy to use. And flash another recovery. Then flash rom.

Actually, I was able to get into recovery before using http://theunlockr.com/2012/11/07/how...lg-optimus-3d/ . Now I can't basically do anything: can't get into recovery, download mode or turn on.

Ok, so I did everything in the instruction as http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2268268 . Got the GREEN SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD mode, changed port to 41 etc. I managed to run SmartFlashTool_3D, cheched the port (41) Put the LGP920_110622.dll and LGP920_30A_AP.bin with LGP920_30A_CP.fls. An I've stucked with TimeOut error (my phone turn off durring this proccess even with full battery). Every single time I try. Any advice how to fix that?
Also tried different Flash tools. Tried B_SmartFlashTool_3D which showed the TimeOut error above in my post. Also tried LG Flash Tool. Problem is I never make it to the part it says Ready in the PORT1. Did everything on the instruction. Changed to port 41 when selected port 1 and it leaves me with :
When you get to that screen, press the arrow button, then it will show ready. Thereafter unplug usb and plug in again, it will then start flashing automatically.

Yes, I pressed the arrow, but it didn't change anything. Maybe I need different USB cable because I saw other people complaining about that. Also keep in mind that in the program there it says MODEL, it keeps blank space. Should it be so? In couple of Youtube videos I noticed that other people's smartphones were detected...

After hiting the yellow arrow in lg flashtool you have to reconnect the phone.
Also you can try flashtool2014 https://mega.co.nz/#!Hlo22baS!zXV3VKRZzOI5EtO5MEAUzICC5kcx-a7xAGspZzhKMFs
You have to instal lgb2c before that https://mega.co.nz/#!70hBEQZK!IpOGBNLLu4sfRBzygJw2J8vh0B3OLgaVto26S21rsHs
If you facing failed to connect server error then you also have to edit the host file in C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
And add this line 127.0.0.1 csmg.lgmobile.com

Reconnected - didn't change.
Yeah, I will try other flash tools.
P.S. any advice on Time Out error? Why it is happening and how to stop it?
EDIT: somehow doesn't open links.

For example here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trhIgKL2FlI it instantly shows P920 after selecting AP file, while mine's not. Maybe I got wrong drivers installed...

I have no idea why you get timeout error. I got these kind of errors with my Optimus 2x but after several tries I got passed. I falshed baseband and the rom separately.

that is matter of dll. I dont remember well, but I used the dll from an extracted kdz to make lgflashtool work with my optimus 2x p990
@Coolguy981
Friend, have you tried flashing a KDZ? It is a much more reliable way to flash your phone, especially after you have already run into problems. The LG Mobile Support Tool has changed a lot since I last used it but I'm sure it still has an emergency recovery function where you type-in your IMEI and the Tool recovers your phone to it's original factory state. After that, you can use the AIO tool to install a custom recovery, then root, then whatever you want...
Don't forget that this phone is unbrickable and if you ever run into serious problems, Xbsall's resurrection guide will bring your phone back to life.

Tried this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191698 didn't work. I put in S/W mode and ran UpTestEX put kdz file in it and pressed Normal web upgrade test and Upgrade Test. Nothing happens. So instead I chose Start Upgrade. The program shows line: " Extract kdz file" and do nothing for whole minute and my phone shutdown (it does that always if in S/W more than a minute and doing nothing). The program crashes and says Don't send error. Losing my faith in resurrecting this phone :crying:

You must have already installed LG B2C app on your PC. This is the official LG Mobile Update Tool.
- Just run that.
- Connect your phone in S/W Download mode.
- Look for Emergency Phone Recovery (or something like that) in the B2C tool.
- Type-in your IMEI when it asks you.
- Let it do it's job.

Yes, I have installed LGMobile Support Tool. I have only found Upgrade Recovery. When I select it, insert my IMEI but it says my phone is up to date.
