Hello!
I just brought an Omnia from verizon (i910) I was able to make work all the functions except by the GPS (that is locked by verizon) and the EVDO, I can connect to internet to 1X.
I'm using QPST to configure it (if some one can help me "lending" me the CDMA workshop to take a shot I'll appreciate it), but when I change the PPP "User ID" seems that this field is not updated, because the next time that I read again from the phone, the "User ID" field is back to: "##########@vzw3g.com" that I think is verizon default.
Anyone that can help me?
Thanks a lot.
PD: Attached you can find some images showing those page where I'm having problems (The "Mobile IP behavior" option is not recorded on the phone to).
Hello,
I recently bought a At&t HTX one X. It has a Unlocked Bootloader and i have also unlocked it so that i can use it with other Service Providers. But i found out that the 4g is always on and when i go into the network setting, the option Data Roaming is disabled.
I am loosing a lot of money because of this.
Under the mobile Network Settings i can only see 3 options .
1. Data Roaming [This option is disabled]
2. Access Point Names
3.Network operators
Can somebody please help me with finding a solution to get 4g disabled?
Thanks in advance
Go to dialer and dial *#*#4636#*#*. Go to phone information, and pick wcdma preferred.
Sent from my One XL
ok cool.. now i see 4 options
1. Phone information
2. Battery information
3. Usage statistics
4. Wifi information
I went to phone information : - set the preferred network type as GSM only
Now i can see the 4g symbol disabled... great
But now i see the "E" symbol on.
How do i get rid of that ?
"GSM only" is this the right option i selected ?
more info
WCDMA preferred option is keeping the 4g active. i am a GSM user so tried GSM only and it worked. but the E symbol is still on.
4g = hspa (3.5g) 4g LTE = LTE
So wcdma preferred = cell and 3g
GSM/wcdma/lte = cell, 3g, LTE

This doesn't work on the AT&T version (and stock ROM), it will just go back to the default setting.
Only way to really shut it off is to flash a ROM with the LTE toggle.
thanks redpoint. can u suggest me a link where i can get step by step instructions to the rom you are referring to.
this has to get asked atleast 5 times a week since the phone came out
Hi, my problem is this:
I'm from Mexico and the carrier is IUSACELL,
When I try to save settings qpts sends an error
CALLS and SMS are ok, but 3G data is not saved, just get 1xrtt:8
Is there any NV need to send before programming?
I search for a guide for this phone and i use this: http://www.cricketusers.com/sprint-...-q-4g-lte-cricket-talk-text-mms-internet.html
but can get 3G
I hope someone can help me
thanks.
Hi folks,
So I followed the steps in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/general/how-to-add-rf-lte-frequency-bands-to-t2886059/
to attempt to get LTE / AWS service on my G900P that's now on T-mobile. Bands I'm attempting to add are LTE 2/4 and WCDMA IV (AWS)
I've been able to write the NV values successfully (and verified they stuck after rebooting) with several tools - DFS, QXDM and EFS Pro. - so this doesn't seem to be an issue with getting the nv written. (I had KT-SGS5 kernel installed while trying this, as well as trying it on stock.) I'm writing the values via QXDM, EFS Pro and DFS don't seem to be able to write them.
However, as soon as I enable the WCDMA IV band (the only change to the GSM bands) and reboot, the phone is stuck in "No service" mode. Attempting to register on a network (via settings->Network providers gives "An error occurred while searching for networks". Toggling some of the band pref settings does nothing.
Disabling the band again restores service on reboot.
Should note that the only thing I'm doing different from that guide is I left the "band pref" alone for 3G bands. It was defaulted to all ones on my device so I felt it better not to reduce the number of options there.
Anyone else encountered this and able to offer insight? Or should I assume that because this band breaks service it means there's no RF cal data for it and there's no point trying further?
There is a report of someone with a G900P successfully enabling band 4 in the linked thread, so it *should* be possible, broadly speaking.
Should add I'm on rooted OG1. Maybe some additional protection in that update? Unfortunately I had to send in my phone for service and when it came back they'd updated it, so sadly no downgrading and I had to trip the knox bit to get root.
I am unable to get LTE option in data option in settings in my Lumia 820. Please suggest how I can enable it..

open your phone dial ##3282#[this is field test mode] you can check your phone supporting 4g bands and enable LTE
Now working
The action is incomplete with ##3282#.
Is it valid code?
Also how to enable then LTE?
For my Lumia 820 with Windows 8.1 seems to work as it follows:
1. Go to "Settings" and then look for "Network Selection"
2. Select "automatic" from available network (do select again eventhough if you already have it as "automatic" initially)
This reverted me back to the Data connection to highest available network like E or 3G or 4G. But for me it doesn´t last too long as I could't try it in a 4G area.
Solution found in WindowsCentral by jagadeshkv. I'm too new to post links.
