[Q] Change default launcher?

Hi,
Would like to get you people's opinion if I should replace the stock launcher with either ADW Ex or LP+?

I use go launcher...its a matter of taste. Go just happens to have an appdrawer design I like and atheme I enjoy. Just download a few and see what works.

I downloaded 4 different launcher apps, and used the Home Screen Switcher to test them out.
Its quick and convenient, and you'll never be bored of the look on the device.

Launcher pro for me, the Widgets are nice and the swipe feature to see miss calleds or SMS is the best, I had it over a year now, I use adw but didn't like it as much

Does both of them consume alot of battery compared to stock launcher ... ?

There should be no diffwerence in battery consumption. I really like LP but ADW is also very good and like stated above it is really a personal preference I have the paid versions of both
ADW does do quite a bit of theming if that is your thing start there first

Battery life is the same for me as long as you no start using extra widgets because launcher pro plus had more then you ash should be fine

I bought the LP+, and definitely didn't look back. One gripe is that there aren't much font back on the market ...

ICS 4.0.x

Does anybody know a 4.0.x launcher for ics that will allow me to hide apps?
Or has any hide app been successfully tested with ics?

I use ADW on my Galaxy Nexus

Apex launcher hides apps in the app drawer.

Laucher pro ex does have the option to hide aplication

Nova launcher can hide apps

Your favorite launcher for the HTC One S

Hey guys, I just ordered the HTC One S and I was wondering what's the best or just your favorite launcher for the device, maybe you could even post some pictures of the launcher.

Apex Launcher, followed by Nova Launcher. Basically, the stock launchers from ICS.
Anything I can do to get this device closer to stock AOSP is good for me.

I use Nova Launcher and I love it. It is close to the old Launcher pro.

Apex Launcher or MIUI Launcher for ICS.

I use Nova but I'm curious as to why so many others use Apex. What made them choose that over Nova?

I actually still use ADW EX, tried apex today and still want to use ADW

because nova is pretty slow compared to apex . atleast i've found it to be way slower, others might have had another experience .

I tried ADW EX, but the home screen had the stupid 3 dot menu button. Switched to Apex and much happier.

Nova launcher gives you these options and then some. You can put widgets, folders, I'm the app try. The app try is also scrollable (left to right)

I like the tw launcher too. Its a good launcher that has all the ones I use on a daily basis Idk why everyone hates it

Honesty though, its all preferqnce really, but power users hate ALL stock launchers, tw included

For CM10.1 I used next commercial theme:

Might can and free Apex. I have not tried it.
Apex need because much widgets don't work on CM10.1 theme without Apex theme.

spb looks good but eats a lot of Ram
so I don't prefer it

Apex or nova both are perfect launchers ..both consume nearly 20-25mb ram but wont slow down phone for sure..

I use smart launcher pro .
Uses 14mb of ram without Widgets enabled

Use NatureUX with a combination of Galaxy s4 theme from market and then you will operate a s4

But s4 thems you have to pay...
