[q] can't bootup g2x at all or cwm recovery!!! Plz help!!! - T-Mobile LG G2x

I had the cm7 nightly 11/18/2012 rom on my phone and cwm recovery 5.0.2.0, i data wiped through cwm and cwm got stuck for a really long time in data formating to the point to where i had to pull the battery out. Had problems data wiping after that and phone would not bootup, kept getting errors or wiping got stuck. Finally successfully flashed cyanogenmod nightly again and phone finally booted up successfully. As soon as i rebooted phone it got stuck in a boot loop and cwm starts up to a blackk screen. I have no recovery that i can see and the phone will not boot up. I tried to flash cwm through nvflash and still recovery starts up with a black screen and just sits there. Can anyone help????????

Sounds like something is majorly wrong. (Captain Obvious here) hopefully all it is is that your kernel got corrupt or something. Try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1590523
It will recreate your partitions, push a kernel and CWM.

Boot Loop?

Hey guys! I am having difficulty with this phone, Ive jail broken since the g1 so i am familiar with this kind of device, after i rooted and got the CWM recovery working, i did a back up restarted my phone went back to recovery using Quick boot , wiped it, it got stuck on the Formatting SD.android secure... so i looked around and found that it was normal to pull out the battery, the phone seamed to be wiped so, i installed a Rom and now The phone stays on a boot loop on the sidek!ck 4G screen and wont boot to recovery.
Any Help?? Thanxx in advance!

okay when your in the orange recovery
you have a selection mounts/storage
the 4th mount has to say:
unmount/system
if it doesn't you will softbrick like you did!
so if it doesn't say
unmount/system
you have to go down to it and choose it then you will be fine
do this before and after you flash the rom
WOW!! I GOT IT!!! Thank u!!!

EDITED:Big Detail after i installed the ROM the phone rebooted by itself, i waited till it booted completely and tried Vol- + power and got a boot loop, i booted it regularly it boots great, so i installed Rom Manager and re flashed the recovery ,rebooted to recovery (blue ASR) and when i hit reinstall i get E:failed to verify whole-file signature. I'm Thinking its because i didn't have a chance to re unmount.
Don't use rom manager there's no need to just read through the forums a bit before you keep asking questions using any rom on this fourm should have you with a red clockwork mod recovery which is the correct cwm you need to use rom manager gives you one that isn't right for the phone

RE: Boot Loop Issue
Did this issue ever get resolved? My sk4g is shot, and I don't know what I did to deserve it. Solution Anyone? Can't get past the T-Mobile Sidekick 4g bootloader screen. I've heard that Heimdall supposedly works, but I've had no success.

Wiped system, cant get to recovery

Hey all, i wiped my system in TWRP recovery and when i hold power, home, and vol down, i get to the TWRP splash screen but then i reboot. Any suggestions?
bump please help
So it will not boot into TWRP fully? How many times have you tried cuz if you rebooted accidentally after wiping system (I've done this), it takes a few tries.
Alternatively, you could Odin flash TWRP (file is in Open1your1eyes0 root thread) and try booting into TWRP then. This increments your flash counter.

No problem. You're saying its booting to the TWRP logo or booting to the Samsung logo? Just wanted to clarify.
Also, hold: power, home, and volume then once it boots release the power button. That seems to be the only way I can cold boot into recovery.

Yeah i hold home, power, and vol down, then it goes Samsung screen > Samsung Galaxy SIII screen > blue TWRP splash screen > reboot to system and freezes. And another thing, if i odin flash this TWRP, will it wipe internal storage by any chance? Its happened one too many times to me

Hmm, weird. What were you doing before which led to this?
Nope, it doesn't wipe internal storage. Just overwrites your recovery partition. When Odin reboots your phone, pull the battery then try booting straight to TWRP. If you still can't boot into recovery try the same steps but flash CWM, flash a rom, and then reinstall TWRP via GooManager.

Just flashed it and it still wouldn't fully boot TWRP. I'm about to try CWM now. What happened was i came from LiquidSmooth AOSP and I was ready to flash Hyperdrive Touchwiz so I wiped all the partitions and flashed the zip. The Aroma Installer froze before it started so i battery pulled and figured I'd retry. It wouldn't boot and now I'm where I am now.

Constantly boots into bootloader

Hey guys, I think I made a fatal mistake. My battery was at 3%, and I attempted to flash Franco Kernel r25. The phone rebooted into a black screen. I did a hard reset, and it sent me to the bootloader. From there, I attempted to start, but it gets me a black screen again. I went into TWRP recovery to reboot and shutoff, but still doesn't work. Every hard reset brought up the bootloader, every start gives me a black screen.
Thanks
Flash Google factory images.

I had this problem once, the only way was to get into recovery mode then install the ROM again (better wipe before install)
it worked for me.
Wow, just flashed the r25 img, i guess the install didnt finish earlier. THANKS!!!!
You can also flash a backup

Can't acces Recovery

Hey guys
I'm trying the whole time to accces recovery on the Moto G, but everytime I try this, the phone always reboots to Android. I tried Flashing CWM and TWRP, then it says in my fastboot flash mode: mismatched partition size. I never can go to recovery because it always reboots when I try to acces s it. And I want to install CWM or TWRP for flashing roms but nothing changes, the problem stays... Could anyone help me or has anyone also experienced this annoying problem?
Cheers
I will write a guide for it tomorrow. I don't have time right now.

When you flash cwm go straight to the recovery if you see a red sign with no command hold pwr+up for 2 secs it should boot into cwm
