Wiped system, cant get to recovery - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Hey all, i wiped my system in TWRP recovery and when i hold power, home, and vol down, i get to the TWRP splash screen but then i reboot. Any suggestions?

bump please help

So it will not boot into TWRP fully? How many times have you tried cuz if you rebooted accidentally after wiping system (I've done this), it takes a few tries.
Alternatively, you could Odin flash TWRP (file is in Open1your1eyes0 root thread) and try booting into TWRP then. This increments your flash counter.

No problem. You're saying its booting to the TWRP logo or booting to the Samsung logo? Just wanted to clarify.
Also, hold: power, home, and volume then once it boots release the power button. That seems to be the only way I can cold boot into recovery.

Yeah i hold home, power, and vol down, then it goes Samsung screen > Samsung Galaxy SIII screen > blue TWRP splash screen > reboot to system and freezes. And another thing, if i odin flash this TWRP, will it wipe internal storage by any chance? Its happened one too many times to me

Hmm, weird. What were you doing before which led to this?
Nope, it doesn't wipe internal storage. Just overwrites your recovery partition. When Odin reboots your phone, pull the battery then try booting straight to TWRP. If you still can't boot into recovery try the same steps but flash CWM, flash a rom, and then reinstall TWRP via GooManager.

Just flashed it and it still wouldn't fully boot TWRP. I'm about to try CWM now. What happened was i came from LiquidSmooth AOSP and I was ready to flash Hyperdrive Touchwiz so I wiped all the partitions and flashed the zip. The Aroma Installer froze before it started so i battery pulled and figured I'd retry. It wouldn't boot and now I'm where I am now.

Cannot reboot system from Clockworkmod Recovery

Hello, so I tried to back up my system via Nandroid in CWM recoveryto my external sd card. When the process was finished I clicked on reboot system now so I could continue my preparation for flashing a rom. It showed the Samsung Logo and the Splashscreen, but then enters the CWM recovery. I also tried pulling out the battery and then pushing the power button, but it still boots into CWM recovery. Any help? It looks like my phone got messed up and I can only use it in CWM recovery. Help is much appreciated.
Maybe Odin back to a stick firmware if you can get into download mode.

Please help, I tried to restore to stock and now it won't turn all the way on

I tried to restore my phone back to stock by flashing the stock tar file through Odin, and now it won't turn all the way on.... I tried it twice and then tried the route66, PLEASE HELP

How far into the process does it get? Can you get it into it to wipe and factory reset? If it's boot looping then try wiping after flash.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
If your phone connects to Odin then it's a good sign.
Download stock Rom from link and make sure to check md5 for match.
Only flash if the md5 matches.
...make sure the appropriate boxes are checked (and unchecked) in Odin before flash.
Wait! Untill you see the green pass on Odin after flashing before disconnecting the phone. Phone may hang with first reboot. Pull out the battery and reboot a second time

Yeah, you have to make sure you factory reset when setting it back to stock. It will put you into a bootloop or hang on boot if you don't.
To get into recovery to factory reset press 'Volume Up' + 'Home' + 'Power' and hold it until youre in recovery.

Can't Open CWM !?

the problem started when i reboot my skyrocket then i entered CWM then i went to extras and " format /system " i just did it and reboot my device and it didn't turn on the samsung logo just appear and disappear every time i turn on the device
...
and now i can't enter CWM to flash a custom ROM ... can any one help me to enter it or recover my device
Why would you wipe your OS without flashing a new one? It won't boot because it has nothing to boot. Shut the phone off and boot into cwm manually.

Please tell me you didn't really do that.
The ONLY reason you should format /system is if you're installing a new ROM, and even then you should flash the ROM pre-reboot. Simply put, formatting /system erases the Android OS.
Check the stickies for info on re-flashing stock.

It depends on if your phone is US or Canadian. I think you should push both volume up and down plus power. Let go of power button as soon as phone vibrates, hold on to volume buttons until CWM shows up. There's no point to let them go when you see samsung/model number, sometimes it goes right to boot if you let go of the volumes to early. That's why i usually hold both of them down until i see CWM.

NO Bootloader - Please help

Seems that my GS3 has magically lost the ability to boot into the bootloader. The only options I have are "System - Power off - Recovery - Download"

Thanks, I think it is working fine.

Tried flashing CWM Recovery with Flashify and it rebooted to the "Downloading..." screen. I cannot boot normally now.

If it will not boot into the rom or recovery even after pulling the battery then you'll have to start fresh with Odin.

Won't boot past Google bootscreen, TWRP can't mount any partition

I think my Nexus 5 is fried (hopefully not).
I went to check my phone (almost full battery last time I looked), and I notice it's on the boot screen (the google logo with the lock symbol on the bottom) but it won't go past it. Strange, hold power down until it restarts, same thing, stuck at the logo. I am able to get into recovery (TWRP 2.7.0.0). But it can't do anything, can't wipe cache, can't restore/backup, because it can't mount any partition.
I was on stock 4.4.4 rooted, with Franco kernel r54.
Have you guys seen this before!? What should I do?

Yes, that is how I got to recovery. Selected recovery from the bootloader. I can also see the device through fastboot in bootloader mode.

Just noticed you're on that thread too. If it is the /data that's corrupt, or worse, all my partitions are corrupt, what's the best way to pull the data that's in there now? adb? What if I can't mount it?
Wow...it somehow just booted. I installed Philz' recovery and it was saying the same thing, coudln't mount /data, /cache or anything. Told it to reboot into bootloader, that didn't work so I go to power it on and it booted... :/

I had the same problem a few weeks ago. If you don't care about losing your /data, just reinstall TWRP and whatever ROM you're using.
Sounds a bit like your emmc is corrupt

So after this happened I decided to completely reflash it with the stock 4.4.4 image. Now, 2 weeks later I wake up and my phone is off. Won't boot past the Google screen, again. Seriously!? I didn't undervolt it at all this time. Completely stock except root and Franco's r54 kernel.

Try flashing a stock, rooted rom in recovery, just dirty flash it. You'll probably have to use adb to side load or push the rom to the device

I will try that as a last resort, but considering that /data can't be mounted, I'm pretty sure that won't help since it'll just flash system right? The data partition is corrupt (just like last time). I'm trying the method of fixing the corruption through adb based on the link I pasted on the first page.
