done that... it gets stuck on the Samsung boot screen when it tries to boot into android.
try another computer, then when in dl mode use odin to either flash cwm/twrp or flash stock firmware.
you must have a computer configured w/drivers or you wont be able to do anything

If you can't get into custom recovery or can't reset you will need Odin. Don't panic. If you can boot into download mode your phone is not broken. Just find a PC where you can install drivers.

[q] can't bootup g2x at all or cwm recovery!!! Plz help!!!

I had the cm7 nightly 11/18/2012 rom on my phone and cwm recovery 5.0.2.0, i data wiped through cwm and cwm got stuck for a really long time in data formating to the point to where i had to pull the battery out. Had problems data wiping after that and phone would not bootup, kept getting errors or wiping got stuck. Finally successfully flashed cyanogenmod nightly again and phone finally booted up successfully. As soon as i rebooted phone it got stuck in a boot loop and cwm starts up to a blackk screen. I have no recovery that i can see and the phone will not boot up. I tried to flash cwm through nvflash and still recovery starts up with a black screen and just sits there. Can anyone help????????
Sounds like something is majorly wrong. (Captain Obvious here) hopefully all it is is that your kernel got corrupt or something. Try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1590523
It will recreate your partitions, push a kernel and CWM.

Q: LG optimus 3d wont boot

Hi
I today started to update lg optimus 3d with lg upodater and it failed 10x times and after that phone will not boot.
If i connect to pc then it only vibrate but without cable nothing will happen.
Is there any way to repair this situation?
now i see lg logo and it fully booted when i connect to charger ,but if i installed clockwork from rom manager and tryed to restart to recovery mode then its stuck at lg logo. It will not boot anymore too.
AW: Q: LG optimus 3d wont boot
Dont install it via rommanager, do it with wkpars fastboot files. Install xloader and uboot and after that you can directly install cwm, that works for sure

Install LG official update program (LG Flash Tool) and do a system recovery.
It will prompt you for your imei, and it will install the latest stock rom for your country/provider.

Can't acces Recovery

Hey guys
I'm trying the whole time to accces recovery on the Moto G, but everytime I try this, the phone always reboots to Android. I tried Flashing CWM and TWRP, then it says in my fastboot flash mode: mismatched partition size. I never can go to recovery because it always reboots when I try to acces s it. And I want to install CWM or TWRP for flashing roms but nothing changes, the problem stays... Could anyone help me or has anyone also experienced this annoying problem?
Cheers
I will write a guide for it tomorrow. I don't have time right now.

When you flash cwm go straight to the recovery if you see a red sign with no command hold pwr+up for 2 secs it should boot into cwm

stuck on lg logo

Wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. I was trying to go back to stock to flash new twrp but when i wiped through advanced it wiped my phone completely. I wasnt able to get back on the Rom and now I can only get back to twrp by doing the hard factory reset. what is the best way to get my phone back? it was twrp 2.3.2 if it helps

Since your phone can not boot you must use that mode to go back to your original firmware, that I can not help you with because I have a sprint variant

if you have custom recovery then use adb sideload and push rom of choice and that's it but if u want to go back to stock then search for threads in xda which clearly describe them.

Use this tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2663369 is very easy. Or you can push the rom by RECOVERY
adb push D800_Stock_KK.zip/data/
adb push UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.93.zip/data/
Good Luck
thank you my pc is not recognizing my g2 so I am going to backtrack reinstall the drivers to see if it makes a difference

I think the easiest way is to restore from pc, just to be able to recognize your phone to your computer

Hey guys, today my phone downloaded the update from at&t and to get rid of notification to install I selected install later. Well it did just that. Now I am in a bootlop of cwm and no matter what I do can I download to "download mode" or boot up. Also, I have tried a ton of new drivers and added adb to my windows 8.1 however when under command prompt i type ...adb devices...it doesnt list any device. I cannot sideload anything without the phone being recognized.
Please help!!!
Custom recovery

Dude, it looks like you have soft-bricked your phone. Do you have any custom recoveries installed? Are you running CM or any stock ROMS (non-AT&T)?
I ran into a boot loop earlier. Luckily I had custom recovery installed. Try these steps to get into custom recovery:
Code:
Turn your phone off.
Press volume down and power button until the LG logo comes on screen
Let go of both buttons
Hold the volume down and power buttons again until you see the "hard reset screen"
Press power once and then power again to confirm. The screen says it will reset your device but it will not as long as you have a custom recovery installed.
Your custom recovery should appear on screen.
I was able to fix it thankfully. Just had to reinstall adb from a previous file. I followed this thread
