I installed the German 4.1.1 on my Note and the default Samsung music player is gone. I can't use Titanium to restore it either. Did they remove it in 4.1.1 or did I screw something up?

I rooted my phone and used Titanium Backup to remove the stock/default Music app. I want it back now. How do I get it back/restore it? Thanks
I have a rooted stock nexus S. I wanted a the new google music app (i'm outside the US) so i backed up the old one with titanium backup and them removed it (also with titanium). I then used the market enabler to get the google music app but once installed it wouldnt open (I assume because im outside the US). I need to restore my original backup but when i do it just says restoring app and never finishes. I have tried browsing to the apk file and installing from there but it says app not installed. Is there a way to manually restore the app or is my backup broken?
Thanks in advance

You are likely missing a necessary library to make them work. Capture the logcat and it will likely be fairly clear where it's crashing (unless the APKs are obfuscated).
Ok i will give that a try thx
Hi,
I'm just trying to update my miui music player with the new ICS theme.. although it would seem that developers are releasing them as stand alone .apk's rather than a theme - this is fine if you don't have miui rom with the miui player installed as a system app.
But if you run a miui rom and have it installed as a system app the new ics miui music .apk wont install as it can't remove the original system app...
I've tried removing the original miui music system app with titanium backup and it boots into recovery, but signature verification fails when I disable this verification I have to boot back up to tell titanium to remove the system apk then it goes back to recovery and signature verification is reenabled by default - so stuck in a catch 22.
My whole phone is ics theme apart from the miui music.. can anyone advise what I can do to install the miui music ics themed apk?
Thanks guys.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA
delete original one(first of all, back up it somewhere) and push apk manually to system/app
Ok, So I flashed the new stock Jelly Bean using odin, and the used odin to put cm10 back on and then used cm10 to flashed superuser and root back to my phone. But after doing all that, the only issue I find, is I use a app called Call Recorder to record my phone calls. When I try to listen to them i get the message "sorry, this player does not support this type of file". The player im using to listen to the .3gp files is the stock music player for the s3 and it worked before the update. Any ideas what is causing this or what I might be able to do to fix it?

Need to check the Call Recorder thread. If using the one by Skvalex. Last I saw it wasn't compatible with CM10. Haven't looked lately. Works with TW.

It was n't that call recorder app. I found a way to change its recorder type to mpeg-4, instead of .3gp. Hopefully it will work.
