[Q] xe help: cant flash pg58img and s-off.

i dont know why i cant flash pg58img.zip file and s-off.my hboot ver 1.29.i have tried using the juopunutbear but its not working.how to solve this?and how do i goback to stock?se asia wwe.every ruu i downloaded is the wrong one.checked the ver,mid,cid,it should work :/

You have to use Juopunutbear to S off, there is no other way.

Hi, I've got the same problem as trane116 (HBOOT 1.29 / S-ON / HTC-DEV unlocked), I just install 4EXT on my HTC Sensation XE then flash the AOKP Jelly Bean rom (22 Nv realase). I'm still S-ON but I'd like to come back to a stock version of my phone.
I extract the rom.zip file from the RUU, rename it in PG58IMG.zip then put it on my SD then start in the bootloader.
I've got a loading bar (top-right corner), but when it is full nothing more happens.
What can I do to go back to stock please ?
PS: RUU File Name >> RUU-Pyramid-LE-ICS-35-hTC-Europe-3.33.401.153-Radio-11.76A.3504.00U-11.24A.3504.31-M-release-281004-signed.exe

you have to relock your bootloader first and then run the ruu.exe

[Q] (SOLVED) Recover Bricked HBOOT 2.16, no rom, S-ON

I want to install maximushd10 4.3 to my phone, but after complete installation steps it's not work correct for my. next i want to recover my phone by RUU. but it's error 158. i go s-on and rewrite original sid (htc__203). but i have get error 158 by RUU. i'm not able to go s-off or install another rom or RUU and cant use/install RUU becuase of SDCARD and hboot 2.16...
may i have a solution to re-partition sdcard. or downgrade h-boot without s-off ?
my phone:
UNLOCKED
S_ON
HBOOT-2.16.0000
SID HTC__203
Recovery TWRP 2.6.1.0...

in this case, we need a rom that work with s-on and last hboot (2.16), that only rom that i found is MagioRom_Beta_2.
i wiped phone and reset to factory setting
next, transfer rom with SIDELOAD.
then REBOOT and install sideload... (with magio installation instructions)...
after that, rom boot and install correctly and phone run into android. then i followed directions of super cid and facepalm s-off.
My Phone Security is OFF and CID is 1111111 :cyclops: .
next i installed MAXIMUS10.
now i'm on MAXIMUSHD 10. :victory:

Horrible mistake by going s-on before running a RUU.
Try using fastboot commands like in post # 68 of that thread.
Fastboot that recovery and the boot img. Sideload the Rom via twrp. Maybe you can get it running.

Yes, Going S-ON is my bad mistake...
i tried that, but becuase of S-ON, maximus dont boot and because of HBOOT 2.16 and new partitioning, other rom wont install or boot.
i was tried some rom...
i must re-partitioning my phone or downgrade HBOOT or S-off. but how ?!!!

I don't know of any quick fix. Was thinking since you said it was repartitioned and new hboot, you could flash boot.img and flash rom and get it working. Sorry for your luck.

You can try magiorom beta 2. The rom works with latest hboot.

I have a smilar problem
I installed the maximus rom for htc one s,i installed the firmware for it,flashed the rom,i did everything but i went to recovery and it said 48mb storage.When i was using the rom i mounted it from the android its self and deleted the os(I was panicking). I read online and it said u have to install the recovery from the install package . So i installed the recovery file and got it back to normal. Today i panicked and put it on s-on. Then i tried adb side loading a rom and i couldn't figure it out so i went to fastboot usb and i did "fastboot flash zip Energyrom.zip" it didn't work and said failed so i went back to recovery and it is 48 mb again.I reflashed the recovery but that didn't work . What do i do i need my phone fixed asap. Please respond if you know the fix to the problem. (Im only 12 pleease help me). Thanks in advanced

I flashed the rom but it just says all these things had stopped working and i kept on clicking ok but it still came up ... Does anyone know the fix?

I believe that if you flash and install correctly, it would solved your problem...

Hi, for s-off, hboot version is not important. you can give it by following Facepalm s-off instructions...

[Q] help unlock bootloader

i have an htc sensation z710e and i have unlocked the bootloader and upgraded hboot and S-OFF on it. so i know my way around a bit. however my girlfriend also has the same phone but when i try to get the token to unlock the bootloader i get a command error in cmd. it has hboot 1.17.0008 and also its not showing whether bootloader is unlocked or not. can you help me with this

if you s-off your device, now you need to flash 3.33 universal firmware , here is a guide from that http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1459767 read the steps carefull and check md5 sum important , after that you'll need to flash recovery 4ext 1.0.0.6 RC1 via fastboot.. and after that you'll be able to flash custom roms
(btw do you have fastboot and adb files)?
EDIT1: if you have adb and fastboot here is the recovery you need to flash https://www.dropbox.com/s/1a2o89surz0h7hj/4EXT_Recovery_Touch_v1.0.0.6_RC1.zip this is the lattest and here is guide how to flash it after upgrading you firmware , just step 2 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1631861 and you are done after that choose what rom you want transfer to you sd card , before flashing format all paticion except sd card and flash the rom you want

sorry for being a noob but i was so excited after it was s off i flashed hboot 1.27 without getting super cid or unlocking with htcdev tools. so now i have managed to install super cid and but it is in a boot loop. this is the screen shot of what it looks like now

you have bootloop because your rom is gingerbread and now you have ics firmware
just flash an ics or jb rom from recovery
make a nandroid first just in case
by the way what firmware did you use because i see you have the official hboot version
did you use the one from the link that Mile_zdr provided you?

i got the hboot from htc.vi8.info and i just tried flashing viper s 5.1.0 but it just got stuck in the middle. what about the locked bootloader which is refusing to unlock

since you are on S-OFF you don't need to unlock the bootloader
but if you flash the 3.33 universal firmware that Mile_zdr told you you will have also a patched hboot which is unlocked
follow the instructions to the letter
and before flashing check md5 sums(important)
what recovery do you have?

Today I tried back from CyanogenMod 12 to stock rom in HTC ONE S.
One S 1.5, TWRP 2.8.5, HBoot 2.15, S-ON. Cid T-MOB101

to use a RUU your bootloader need be relocked

Flash the proper RUU for your CID, you don't need S-Off for that.

I describe as I did it in detaliled:
1. Run fastboot oem readcid and fastboot getvar version-main and receive inforamtion Cid T-MOB101 3.16.111.11
2. Downlaod proper (??) RUU RUU_Ville_U_ICS_40_S_TMO_DE_2.38.111.10_Radio_1.09es.50.02.07_2_10.09d.50.04L_ver2_release_287723_signed.exe . Is it proper for my device One S 1.5, TWRP 2.8.5, HBoot 2.15, S-ON. Cid T-MOB101?
3. Run fastboot oem lock
4. Run fastboot erase cache
5. Run RUU (from 1 point)
6. RUU inform me that will be install oddest (something like 2.38.111.xx - I dont remember all number) version then is on my ONE S (3.16.111.11), I accept it
7. RUU reboots my phone, and HTC starts and on blac background was logo htc
8. After few minutes RUU installer show me error [140]: error bootloader version.
9. I accept RUU and it close and my phone reboot to bootloader On the top I see TAMPERED RELOCKED Security Warning)
Where is wrong ?
Plese help me

I do not RUU because I did S-Off and it was fantastic

I got it from this site at user friendly firmware, because the rom i'm trying to flash required the 3.33 firmware

i first flash it from command prompt it fail and said remote not allowed then i flash it from bootloader when flashing it says fail-ic (image check fail)

have you enabled usb debugging mode from settings?
when you are using command prompt make sure that you are in fastboot mode

yes rzr86 i've enable usb debugging, when using command prompt i'm in fastboot mode and i've installed sdk tools (adb/fastboot) and htc drivers too on my pc.
so i don't get there is something i'm doing wrong or what or because it's china mobile??
the guy that sell it to me says it's htc sensation 4g but in settings it says Z710T

it is the china version of sensation
i don't know what else to suggest
look in the internet for any guide about china sensations or even here in xda
edit: you can do this
chnage your cid to supercid
then flash whatever ruu you want or try the firmware again

your cid is 11111111 from a previous post of yours
that is supercid
you can use any ruu .exe you want
pick up an ics one

bro i downloas the ics ruu but when i tried to flash it it says image check fail

btw bro is there anyway to upgrade the hboot because mine is 0.82.0000
i try five ruu and it keep telling me fail image check and signature verification fail when it atemp to flash the bootloader
now the things is it's possible to upgrade the hboot??
