I was gonna unlock my bootloader with htcdev but it just won't get me log in...can anyone help me with this? Or I pass someone the id to help me unlock along with my acc...

htc dev is messed up, all i can tell you is keep trying.
and try from different browsers.
HTCDev works for me.
PM me your token from start to finish and I can send you your unlock token back.
If I remember properly, a confirmation email needs to be received by you before you can login for the first time to HTCDev.com. I never got the confirmation email (checked spam folders as well), and had to use 3 different email addresses before it worked properly, and I received the confirmation email (luckily I have that many emails still active!).
Suffice it to say, the website is flaky, and sometimes you just need to try again and again.

You have the Verizon HTC Trophy (same phone as I do), There is no way to get back to Pre-NoDo on the Verizon model because NoDo was needed to support CDMA. If you could, your phone would not work. So you know chevron does not work on CDMA phones (Verizon HTC Trophy or Sprint HTC Arrive)
Your only option to get "unlocked" is to go the Dev unlocked methoid, set up an account on the App hub/dreamspark (google it) and if you have a .edu account, it could be free or it's a $99 reg charge. Do some reading on here, there is a lot of people posting about this being Dev unlocked.
There is ways around to find a edu email account but, you'll have to google it, I don't know the link off the top of my head.
Unless something "new" popped up in a last few days, this is the only methoid I know.

okay now i just got it but when my membership runs out in 3/2012 what happens will it relock and is there a way to stop it from locking back

Did you submit an test app ? If you have to nuke, or hardreset your phone, it will be locked again, so you should keep the account active.

I have went through every single step to try to reunlock the bootloader of a one x i bought from craigslist with no success. Everything works on htc dev but i never get the email. i have tried tons of times on different emails and I have no success.
Mir was saying earlier that htcdev.com site is down for some reason we are getting a rash of this same question. Unfortunately i fear there is nothing we can do about what HTC is doing nor will we ever. My suggestion is to email or call htc and ask wtf.

An Inspire 4G was given to me to play with and I have been working on steps for root. I am using the Ace Root tool and one of the steps in the script involves getting my unlock token from HTC Dev. Their website says "Token Submitted Successfully!" along with letting me know that my unlock key was emailed to me. Well, that was 2 days ago. When I did not get anything after about 30 minutes, I resubmitted a couple more times and got back the same message. Any ideas as to when I might get this special email? Thanks.
UPDATE: It's Jan 2 now and still no email from HTC.
Good afternoon from Plymouth in the UK..
I currently Own This Bloody Awesome Phone and have had it now for 32 days, however this is where my problem lies.... My USB-C port at the bottom of the phone had failed to work as intended, I no longer have OTG, MTP, Usonic earbuds do not work, and I use the slowest of charge ever imaginable. ( Over 8 hours to reach %87 from %15.
I have contacted my Provider (O2 UK ) who have said that because I'm just over my 30 day period they can't do a simple swap of handsets and will need to be sent back for repair. I was fine with this, but on thinking about it,it will then return to me with another problem, one of not being water resistant any-more. I'm currently using Viper-rom. I did create a Nandroid backup with TWRP but my laptop also failed on me, forcing me to loose everything.
So I'm hoping if anyone on here could help me out and either upload their Nandroid backup or link me to one that I can download and restore via TWRP along with the Stock Recovery....

Did you searched for what you're asking ? I guess a ruu should be better to have your U11 as clean as possible: stock rom, stock recovery. What do you think ?

Relocking your bootloader can only be achieved using fastboot via USB. no other way to accomplish this one mate.
My bootloader is unlocked as well and the device just got repaired on warranty the second time. Must have gotten a monday device... One thing repaired and two others popped up instantaneous. There was no need to recovery bootloader full warannty both times with an unblocked boooader. I just ran a RUU prior to both repairs.
BTW. I didn't use o2 (my device came from o2 as well), but just contacted HTC support and sent it to them directly. o2 has an own service and I can't tell if they are licensed for warranty repairs by HTC.

on your account check the email address if its correct or not, also check your spam folder, re enter your email address or signed in with different email address, normally it takes 1 to 2 min for them to send you email once they say it can be unlocked.
Someone told me that Moto wasn't doing anything like that right now because of covid
