[Q] How to revert back to stock DDLF2 from rooted state? - Samsung Galaxy SL i9003

Hi,
I have rooted DDLF2 (using CF-ROOT). Now that I no more need root (stopped using an app that needed root), I need to get back to stock DDLF2.
I have already unrooted it using recovery mode > unroot.zip method.
All I need is 100% samsung stock DDLF2 on the phone now, without the cf-kernel, cf-recovery and apps that the rooting process brought in.
Please advise...
Thanks

Dude thats simple...
Just flash ddlf2 using odin and u are good to go !!

take the CR-ROOT zp file, open up with winrar, replace the file with DDLF2 normalboot.img, than flash with odin PDA. you will get back the stock kernel or maybe you will have boot looping, if not bootlooping, reboot the phone once, than factory reset.
try at your own risk.

Maybe this happened because you didn't clean install so here are the steps:
Download XXKPE from here.
Flash XXKPE by following the XXKPE install instructions (the archive should contain odin3 v1.83 or v1.85 if not here is odin3 v1.85)
Download DDLF2 from here (DDMF1 is the latest value pack so it's smoother and with better battery life)
Install DDFL2 or DDMF1( recommended) by following the value pack instructions (use only odin3 v3.04)
that's it, enjoy your stock rom
if this helped you ...hit the thanks button pls

unroot i9003

hey guys need some help...
1. i've rooted my phone and its running on XXKPU + CF-ROOT
2. i want to unroot it back to my original DXKP9 , i just need to flash the the tar file as pda.. or do i need to
- flash also the other files from XXKPE eg GT-I9003-CSC-MULTI-OXAKPE.tar
Even I'm pretty new to Samsung, butto get to stock XXKPU/XXKPQ,
I would recommend the following steps.
1. Download stock xxkpe.
2. Via Odin in download mode flash the pit file (check repartition option)
Screen would turn black. This option would repartition in rfs format.
Restart the phone in download mode.
3. Then other files need to flashed, pda, csc, modem(phone) and bootloader.
Google which file to selected in which option.
4. after flashing this, you would be on stock xxkpe.
5. Then flash stock xxkpu pda file. Restart.
This would remove the cwm add well as root permissions.
Press thanks if helped.

Kies won't work unless you are on stock firmware. You'll need to go back to stock firmware/kernel and then unroot.
Just unrooting won't since the issue. You'd have to refer to the stock firmware as well as kernel as told earlier.
you'd have a custom cf kernel with cwm, goto stock by flashing xxkpe starting from pit.

Go for your region specific firmware. Then unroot. I think there are unroot instructions on cfroot thread.

Install your region csc if you are using multi csc
To check your csc type following code
*#272*[yourIMEI]#
Take backup before typing this code
This will erase all your data

How to back to GB from CyanogenMod 10 alpha 4 by dhiru?

1.repartition from odin
2.took and the battery and place it
3.flash xxkpe pda,modem,bootloader,csc
4.wait until phone booting and reset all data(press *2767*3855# in dialpad)

without pit or with pit?:silly:
I'm not sure bro but what you mentioned is the right way to go back to GB. But im not sure what did Dhiru told you about modem. What im doing is i have my backup custom rom of GB. So if i want to go back to GB i just restore it from CWM.
dude, a very simple instruction from Dhiru, do not flash modem with odin, it will corrupt your partition of CM alpha 4 which is using MTP system.
Alfix, have explain that use adb push to push the modem.bin of your choose to the /radio partition if you face radio issue or use a CWM flash zip to flash in recovery mode.
so, due to the new mtp partition system introduce by Dhriu CM10 alpha 4, the odin will not be use to flash anything. including the custom kernel.
how to go back to stock? you need to use odin with pit file, Lalotion case is a accident.
1. makesure your odin can detect your phone....
2. flash pit file first or together with XXKPE tar with or without bootloader. DON'T tell me it wont work, me and most of the member have done that, IT WORK!!
3. after flash KPE, your phone will reboot as normal.

Your method is quite confuaing me. For doing restore kernel.should be same which was used at the time of backup. GB kernel is entirely different from cm10 kernel. Then how u restore it??

dont worry mate... since you are on 2.3.6 just go ahead and do it JXKP3
download the CF-Root file from here for JXKP3
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1331253
also download Odin
and follow these steps
1.Open ODIN
2.get you phone in download mode (holding power + home + volume down).
3.Connect your phone to PC via USB cable.(its better to make sure your antivirus and firewall are disabled and you have correct samsung USB drivers installed)
4.Check if your phone is detected by odin you must see color yellow in the box with the port no. and a word "Added!" in log screen.
5.Now click PDA then browse the .tar file (place the downloaded CF-root file i.e, your JXKP3 file in this case). Then click Start.
6.Wait till its done, dont panic.Phone will boot itself. Your now rooted. But you need to wipe cache in recovery mode to do this hold power + home + volume up then clear cache and dalvik cache. Reboot. Done.

And after reading the 1st post, yes its safe mate, just remember follow the guide and remember the thanks button under my post, cheers
P.S: Do not fear of soft/hard brick, if you are Gingerbread user. The farthest you can get is bootloop, unless you are flashing i9000 stock ROM.

Flash full DDLF2 from following link with odin with pit/pda/modem/csc/bootloader
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2329200
Use only Odin 1.85, download from above link.
Once booted, go to the recovery Select Factory Reset, Reboot.
Remove the battery boot the phone into download mode and Flash DDLF2 again.
The procedure is if you are coming from other custom rom with different partition then Flash twice, factory reset inbetween.
