hy,i am a new here..i have one question..
I have a stock rom by jaggy, root phone..
I want a kernel that has support for ext3,4 partition ..i tried flash Cranium kernel but i stuck on boot screen..
The reason why I am asking this is that I want to use the script Mount2sd..
or you can suggest some other script ?
I want to keep the stock rom..
can you have any advice, suggestion..thanks

Dude Jaggyrom already has a custom kernel and you can use ext3 or ext4 partition.You are talking about Jaggyrom 3.2.1 right? If you want to use Mount2sd then use Nextgen 1.5 ROM by akya22 as it already has m2sd.

I talking about stock Explorer rom posted by jaggy,not Jaggyrom..
I use Nextgen ROM,but it often resets itself..
because I want the stock rom, but I can use mount2sd script or similar

To overclock successfully you have to first flash Cyanogen (I recommend 7.2)
after that you can flash the OC kernel

Hello frends i am new to htc explore(not new to android).i am using stock indian rom with default kernel.i already rooted my rom.i want a kernel which work in stock rom and have NO bug and support ext partition and overclockable to more than 600mhz.thanks guys.
Welcome, there is no such kernel, mostly they are only 3 kernels for explorer, non of them works fine on stock rom, If you want stock, closest you can do is Ateeq's rom, then to clock it you have to flash yannou's kernel, which has OC but most of the guys sayed that it is fake OC, I think not but....... I'm a noob. So far what I figure out is cranium kernel, whit that you can clock it to 1307 which is fun for a while, but battery is just diyng with full clock. All of them supports ext partition.

I have my doubts, anyway do a backup and try, I'm sure about yannou's and ateeq's they don't work with stock, when I tryed cranium, I've already forgot what stock was, so don't know but nowhere says that it wont, so it's up to you. My doubts are about stock, ti's odexed and that's why I'm not sure will it work corectly.

I personally recommend to try CM9, I've installed it yesterday and I can say there wasn't bugs(oh yeah, there was something, when I used phone in USB storage mode(plugged in to computer) Google Play wasn't working properly, it was force closing on the app startup. But this is nothing).

Sorry, exactly now, I'm using default CM9 kernel, so I can't say that.
So default cm9 kernel is not overclockable?i assume that all custom rom have overclockable kernel?

I thought it too, but setCPU shows max clock 600Mhz.

Oc is not a gud idea..du to hvy battery drain..cm9 with oc is available..but not a stable one...

Easy, since CWM doesn't support RFS file systems just use the Stock Recovery to flash the zip of the Kernel. But, make sure the kernel supports stock or stock-based roms before flashing it as it may damage your device if your not careful

Unfortunately one kernel fully compatible with custom rom doesn't exist!
Y some pico cant support pll2 oc.
I mean hardware of all pico should be same,then it should work on every rom !!
Also ,devs plz make oc kernel for sense 4 roms by any other method as safe as pll2.It would be very smooth

It depends on kernel i think, cuz i have bootloops on jarvis kernel, but on aries or pandora it works, and btw pandora has a new kernel version for Sense 4.1 rom i think.

Check again your partitions order or try another rom, clean install, i dont know m8.

i dont think thats possible right now....if u want oc without partition try out cm9 or triumph hd rom they r quite smooth and AWsoME
