after rooting and installing eos 2 lost 3g
tried multipke valid sims that worked in the xoom prior, and also work in other devices
when doing a scan network it picks up all avail networks however it cannot attach.
status shows:
Network : vodafone
Signal Strength -77dBm 18 asu
Mobile Network Type: Unknown
Service Status: Out of service
Mobile network state: Disconnected
MDN: Unknown
IMEI: some numbers
IMEI SV: 88
tried returning to stock rom, no luck...
any help would be appreciated

Please excuse me if this is in the wrong section, I am completely new to the forum.
Phone- GT i9000
Basically I have just flashed 'teamhacksung's CM9 ALPHA for Galaxy S (BUILD 16)' ROM from the stock galaxy s 2.3.4 firmware but I have noticed I don't have access to the o2 UK network but it still lets me view my sim toolkit. My phone is unlocked to any network and I have never had this problem before (I had Cyanogen Mod 7) So yeah could anybody tell me how I can get the network back?
Heres some additional details from the status menu if needed...
Network- 02-UK
Mobile network type- HSPDA:9
Service status- Out of service
Roaming- Not roaming
Mobile network state- Disconnected
IMEI- 004999010640000
IMEI SV- 01
Also I am on pay as you go if thats of any relevance...

last days with no signal, but suddenly back today and my imei and baseband were fine, then when i turn wifi ON and i lost signal and unknown baseband and imei then i turn off wifi and still the same (no signal)... what would happen?

I recently flashed CM12 nightly offical rom
I am liking it very much but i m have trouble with the network settings
Dual Sim
Sim 1 - 3G Data Only
Sim 2 - Calls only
Now when i set LTE network mode on sim 1 and do the *#*#4636#*#* i get the H+ working but the sim 2 setting switches to 2G which causes calls to loose all incoming/Outgoing audio...
and when i set LTE on sim 2 calls work fine but then sim 1 switches to 2G causing low speed untill i manually change that back...
I have searched lots of thread but found no working fix for it for my HTC 816 daul sim
Kindly guide me to the thread where i can get my problem fixed permanently..

Post this as a bugreport in the XDA Thread of the ROM you're using. Make sure you're on a clean flash though. The experts there should be able to assist you.

I was browsing the net and suddenly the mobile freeze and i had to reboot it.
Then there was no signal and then i changed to WCDMA(or 3G ) mode and it worked fine.
This problem is with both the SIMS( one airtel sim & other idea) suddenly. I can use 3G but cannot 2g.
When I manually search The network operator in the GSM/2g only mode by settings>more>mobile networks> network operators>manually then I can see that the 2g network of both the operators is available and when i click on that network then it just shows " Registering on network...." for 2 minutes and then it says "can't connect to this network right now, try again later" ,both the times I search the network manually for each Sim.
I have flashed stock Rom twice and had factory reset, but the problem still persists.
Please help

Hi I have installed CyanogenMod 10.2 and I am getting lots of signal dropouts. Thats phone signal and internet signal having no bars and not connecting to the internet. I have heard about needing to flash my modem or using SELinux to change some perms. I am abit lost with all this and wonder if there is just a good stable rom/setup that will save me alot of trouble.
Another note is that I bought the phone new and unlocked from deal extreme and the GPS has never worked
