I'm having trouble with my phone tried to upgrade to Nokia GPS per a tutorial and now my phone locks up at the unlock screen. I can to the three finger reboot, but am unable to gain connectivity to a computer. I can also get to download mode from recovery, but again I cant seem to connect. I get a windows message saying the device is malfunctioning.
Nevermind, I was able to locate zeus and reinstall it from the phone. Thanks for the forums everyone!

and I can not find the software for sgh-i987, it's like it does not exist.
And another funny thing, when I turn the device on and it goes to the black screen odin sees it's connected, however, when i go to the download mode it does not.

After step 7 in Installing the ClockworkMod Recovery section the tablet just restarts to black screen with a bar on the side.

I recently dropped my phone, causing the screen to break and not turn on. The touch isn't receptive anymore either so I cannot unlock the phone. I want to back up the content using Kies but I need to have the phone unlocked first. Is there any solution to this? There are definitely pictures, videos, and contacts that I want to save from my dying phone.

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. You never mentioned what device you have. But if you don't have a custom recovery you're not going to be able to recover any files. Kies won't do it without unlocking your phone first.

Ok, so I had this problem lately, I accidentally deleted some apps including Telephony Service and Setup Manager of my rooted ASUS Zenfone 5.
I resorted to factory resetting my phone.
After a while, things are getting better BUT some minutes later Setup Manager stopped, making me unable to setup my phone, even my home screen.
My stupidity told me to restart my phone (and I did.)
But it won't start up.
I really need your help.
NOTE: My phone is rooted, I have backup-ed my data to my PC, bootloader is locked.

Hello, on the phone I have got an error message where was written insert the install media and something about recovery. So I download the files and I flash it. But unfortunately when i Should push the volume buttons, camera and flash and power button was started I let go of the button and the flash did not finished and now the display is out, the phone will not turn on, flash mode do not working, and after connecting to the PC is displayed That is not working properly. Do you know what I should do? "
It seems incredible but like an idiot I made the same mistakes, and now I find myself with my HTC8S that no charge is not recognized by pc that flashes for a few seconds and sometimes vibrates. Know that you are two weeks I read the post and try different solutions but nothing I can not get it started. I hope you can help me get my jewel. Excuse me while I was down in my first post. So today I installed a zip file on my LG G4 . After installing it I tried to boot the phone from TWRP, but it got stuck in bootloop. When I try to enter the recovery by pressing volume down and power button nothing happens. Sometimes the phone vibrates or the boot animation slows down for a second but then it goes back to the animation. If I try to use the ADB to boot into recovery (or to do anything) it gives me a device unauthorized message. This is probably due to the fact that I recently reinstalled Windows and haven't connected my phone to my PC to confirm USB debugging. So all in all I am locked out of my device without being able to do anything. I am asking for help to solve this problem since I can't figure it out.
