hi, i hve a xoom2, i bought it yesterday; but wht ive noticed is tht the microusb port dont hold well my usb flash ( fat32+16gb), i can charge my tablet but not directly when i plug it in the tablet, i have to pull the edge of the charger up while its in the micros usb port of the tablet so it can charge.
and when i connect it to my laptop, also ihve to move arround the cable data in the microusb port of the tablet .
its a hardware problem? can i replace the microusb port my self? or only moto can do tht?

Hi, I have a 16gb nexus 5 with an unknown history. It is getting the dreaded static screen, so I bought a usb flex cable, all came , put it in and didn't fix it!! ?
I bought a screen and frame assembly and put it in and aswell to no avail!!
I found out this evening that when I push down in a certain place on the usb flex, old and new, that the screen goes from static to just the backlight being on.
Would this be the two flex cables being faulty or the motherboard connector which doesn't look damaged. Where I push down on both usb flex is different and both are kinda creased... I would love some of ye lots opinions and views! Thanks in advance

I have a little issue with my USB cables. I cannot attach any other cable to Nexus 4 than original one - all of them are loose and are falling off. The "teeth" of usb plug are not in proper position, I noticed that usb plug in original cable is a little shorter than other ones.
So, where can I buy a REALLY ORIGINAL USB cable for my Nexus 4?

Hi, this is a bit of a hit an hope question
My nexus 5 will charge as long as i use a certain charger (its from a Sony z3) but wont from nearly all other USB chargers I have including multiport ones that are supposed to give out 2.1A.
The phone also isn't recognised by a PC (ive tested across 3) in either adb or fastboot
Ive changed the battery and USB assembly twice
Any other ideas ?
Other members have had problems when using cheap third-party replacement USB flex cables. Is the replacement cable oem?

It was this issue that caused me to change the cable
The phone now has an oem internal data/charging USB flex cable inside?

sorry i thought id responded. yes i put the original oem cable back in . But as I said before this issue was first seen with all oem parts which is why i switched in the first place

If the problem exists after changing the internal USB flex cable, it could be a connection problem on the motherboard.
