Sorry for the double post
Here is the apk, pulled from the infuse. There is also a mediahub folder in /data/data. But I can't figure out how to upload a folder, but if you need it then I can put it up somewhere else and link you to it.
ok so i installed this media hub but when i run it i asks me to update and by clicking yes it takes me to market but it cant find media hub on market. So i ran it again and upon cancelling the app will shutdown. I have 25 credits still, whiich i wanna use but im using refuse so I cant, any help please.
I have exact same problem. I hope somebody has a solution.
Here is my already updated version i hope it helps link removed
Sorry that was the stock one this is the updated version
if none of these work simply go wipe and load infuse or stock, use titanium and backup the mediahub app. Install refuse and restore the app. That's all I have been doing. Hope this helps
That works! Thanks a lot!
ok so im in Canada and i got the $25 coupon which i wanna use. I tried downloading/ renting a movie last night but it said only in states..
any help??

That sucks, and to me that doesn't make much sence. Id call either you carrier or samsung themself. I've had to contact samsung for an annyoing wifi issue, they told me they weren't aware of any issues, but the next day bam, I had an update pushed to my phone and I haven't had an issue since.

I'm in Canada and I used the credit ($25) but when I hit download button weather it's rent or own, it shows a little flash window says "it's not permitted outside US. CA" and when I went to the States it started downloading about 100MB of 1.5GB and I came back to Canada the same day, it allowed me to resume and complete the download. Now when I purchase while in Canada, it won't allow me. Is there any fix for this?

Might be more of a google market question, but thought I would start here.
I have 1 MT4GS with 90 or so apps, getting a second MT4GS. Most apps are market, but some from other spots. Is there a way to massively update/download the apps I have on current phone to new phone. In the past, I have just downloaded them one at a time from market.
Thanks in advance...
Possibly
Just an idea, you could make a backup of your current mt4gs and then restore it on the new one? Ive never tried it but I dont see why it wouldnt work
Your google account should keep record of your downloaded apps and redownload on the next device you sign in on... Usually...

I know with previous phones this didn't work. I would connect to my same account with the new phone, but it wouldn't show that I had apps loaded. Example, the eBay app would not show installed, I would have to load like it was a new app install. It would be great if that would do that, or it would show 90 updates to be applied. But I haven't done this in a while, maybe newand improved market will allow. I guess I will find out when I get receive the 2nd phone.
Thanks..
Well if your rooted and your next phone is rooted then you can use titanium backup to backup all your apps. If you CWM installed on both then you can make a nandroid backup and either restore it on the new one or use appextractor to restore the apps. But if your not then your best bet is let Google restore the apps that it does and manually resinstall the ones that it doesn't.
all of your payed for apps will certainly appear in the market under my apps and you can just go thru clicking on them one after another after another. the ones that were free though, i dont know any quick/easy way. i'm sure theres an app that will track all your downloaded apps regardless of if they were free or not.
The market website actually keeps a log of every app you downloaded. You can then send them right to your phone from there.

This is what I'm seeing, it show my paid for apps, but not the freebees. FYI - first phone is not rooted, second one is..
I also logged into google and google market on the pc hoping to see 'my apps', but no luck there..
So looks like a download at a time..
Thanks all for your inputs...
That is odd. I still have stuff on the Web Based Market list that I haven't used since my old craptastic Behold II 2 years ago.

I am an experienced Android user and have rooted my OG EVO and EVO LTE with never any problems. The question I have is. How to install the Play Store on a Nabi 2? I've downloaded the .apk directly to the Nabi, installed without a hitch. When I go to open; it just closes. Not a crash or force close but just an instant close. Any ideas on how to keep it open? I watched a You Tube vid on a guy using a Nabi 1 with the Play Store and believe me. I've done everything perfectly......so please please give me some advice.

It's almost the same specs as the 7! I was blown away by it! I obviously hate the fruit company, that's why I'm here. I traded my sister a tv for my son's itouch. Since the whole trial with Samsung I almost want to throw up. So I told him that I have to sell it & his leapad. He was so excited to get his Nabi & I'm jealous! The dual modes is phenomenal & a seamless experience. All I want to do is be able to get the play store on it. Amazon runs without a hitch, at least I was able to install Appy Geek! So please someone just gimme a little advice on how to get our beloved play store.

I just got Nabi2 for my grandson and am testing it out before I wrap it and give it to him, lol. I found this info. Guess we'll have to wait for a little bit.
Post-Launch Nabi 2 Tablet FAQs
Q: Where is Google Play? How do I install it?
A. Google's Support Site: The Android operating system is open source, which means that any device manufacturer is free to use Android on its devices. However, Google Play is an application that is only made available to devices that pass Google’s compatibility requirements. In addition, manufacturers must obtain a license from Google in order to install the Google Play Store app on their devices.
If you don’t have the Google Play Store app, and your device is not listed here, that means your device is not supported for use with Google Play at this time.
There is currently no Google Play Store apk that can be sideloaded successfully onto the nabi 2 Tablet without experiencing Forced Closure when used. Fan-a-Tech Eric is working hard on a solution that will allow users to do this. When available it will be posted here on the blog.

My 2 year old loves her Nabi2, also had a Nabi1 before she was 2. Suprised on how fast they learn to navigate the screens.
She is pretty advanced for her age, but they are setup pretty easy, so I am sure your kid would be fine if they are at least an average kid. Some kids that are slower learners may have some issues at 2.
Partial solution here...

I have an iPad 3 and my daughter likes playing with that. Of course, I'm hesitant to let her really get into it considering A: It's $500, B: It's MY tablet, meaning I have my own apps and stuff that I don't want her messing with, and C: Because she just LOVES touching that home key, it's hard to keep her in 1 app.
Still, the tablet does look intriguing. I think that tablet computers can be good learning tools. Hell my old kindergarten has a whole slew of iPads that they let the students use, although they have more plastic surrounding them than Joan Rivers' face so that they don't break when dropped or beaten up. And quite frankly, given how begrudgingly I picked up the iPad, the last thing I need is to bring yet ANOTHER one of them in the house. 2 iPads are enough (my wife has my old 2 and I have the new generation model.) I like to think we balance it out with 2 Samsung Android phones.
I actually just put two of these on layaway at Walmart this Saturday. One for my 8yo stepson who's been hounding me for a tablet for about a month, and the other for my 2yo. My little guy steals my Nexus 7 all the time to play Sonic CD and even posts pictures of himself on my google+ account. You'd be amazed at how fast a child can pick up the UI on an android device, it's so intuitive. I think any child lucky enough to have parents willing to blow $200 on a "toy" for a preschooler will have a field day with the Nabi. Now I'm just hoping that we have the play store fully functional before Christmas. I've purchased almost every high end game from gta3 thru horn, and was and am planning on linking my google acct, and installing them onto the boys tablets after they open them. I really wish I could get my hands on one now so I could pull a log-cat and see what's going on when you try to install an app.

You can install an app just fine, but from what I have been reading the problem is the play store and google services framework do not have root access. You can only install them on the data partition and not the system partition. We need to be able to root the Nabi to be able to get the Play Store to work. I am assuming no parent is willing to accidentally brick their child's tablet trying to do this. Does anyone even know what drivers we would use for ADB?

Been awhile since I messed with mine(Well hers), but I think the drivers I installed for rooting my Nexus7 also saw the Nabi2 as an ADB device. Also had a few ideas but my 2-1/2 year old would FREAK if I bricked her Nabi2. I still have a Nabi1(Already rooted) being I got the VIP Gold and was sent an email that I can keep my Nabi1 even with them sending me the Nabi2, too bad Nabi1 is not closer and I would have something to "TEST" with.
So I found a driver that I could use to for ADB and I used the universal root from Bin4ry but it was a no go. Has anyone else tried anything different to try to root their Nabi 2? Would be nice to know what has not worked so far.
Something a little off subject does anyone know how to change the default keyboard. Going in and out of Daddy mode switches the keyboard back to the Android keyboard after switching it to Swiftkey.

No such luck
Been trying the script all afternoon with a brand new Nabi 2.
Script runs, but no SU/root access.
I've done it after wipes
I've done it after entering Mom mode
I'm running the latest Nabi Update.
I also noticed after running the script that several of the apps are wiped:
Skype, Their browser, iheartradio all disappear. They're reinstalled after a complete reset.

I did not do anything special. Just installed the apk. I guess it has something to do with the version of the Google search app. If it is new enough, it works.
I read somewhere that the launcher app itself is part of the google search an the launcher.apk is just a pointer/bridge. Does not really have much code. Code is within the search app.
Yea, that is true how they communicate with each other. Guess I may have went about it the wrong way back then which is why I ran in to problems.

It seems now it is available on play store for our device as well.
Now what I need is a aosp like lock screen that would allow me to answer a call without unlocking the phone first. Which seems quiet difficult on sense phones [emoji17]
The official version of the Samsung Pay app for Verizon phones is in the Google Play store now, but it's not working properly. Everyone who has installed it gets a message, "Update failed. Failed to download the latest version. Try again later." It also generates a notice, "PaymentFramework_VZW installation failed."
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samsung.android.spay
FWIW, someone on Android Central contacted Samsung. They confirmed it is the legit version, but they say it isn't going live until October 20.
Downloaded fine for me and installed security policy update, but stays on screen showing that security policy update is required. I did see in the Play Store that it isn't going live until 10/20 though, so we'll see.
I am on an OE2 rooted device with the SU Binary removed and SU App hidden by Hide My Root. FWIW, Android Pay is installed and working.

The whole thing is strange. Verizon's CSRs have been saying that it "should" work now -- and it apparently does work on some Note 5's -- but Samsung says it won't be activated until the 20th, when Verizon releases a second system update at noon.
Not showing up in the store now, maybe they took it down.

I have been checking for the past 2 days and the link still does not work for me. Hopefully tomorrow it will work for all. I have a Galaxy S6 and I did get the update from Verizon to my device.
For those that have the app appearing in the play store can you please post your version of the Samsung Pay Framework and the Software build on your devices? I am looking to see if there is any patterns.
Ok, people, let's think logically here, shall we?
1.) People complained because it was on the playstore but not working. It was pulled and now people complain because they can't find it on the playstore. Come on people...really? I think people just want something to complain about.
2.) This is one I fell into because I had a laps in judgement. The fact that we had to find a link to find it in the playstore should be an indication that it wasn't ready to be downloaded yet. Clearly, Samsung wanted to go ahead and have it loaded up there, but keep it hidden until it was time to release it publicly.
I for one am glad they decided to pull it. It was getting negative reviews before even going live because people (myself included, I admit) did not think.
Check the app store again. Samsung updated it about two hours ago, and the new app is loading perfectly. I was able to install it, app three cards (2 Citibank and Amex), and run to the store to try it out. (Worked well.)
Note that all this happened without a second Verizon OTA update.
Weird....I was on here and clicked on the link and it took me to the Samsung pay app and I tried downloading it and it kept saying I needed to sign into my Google account. Which I am. So I finally booted to recovery and cleared my cache and now when I try and click on the link, it says not found.
Sent from my SM-G920V using XDA Free mobile app
It just pulled up for me (kept refreshing the link and it just now showed up). Got it installed. Now time to test it out!
Finally worked for me! Can't wait to test it out!
It finally showed up for me. It downloaded and installed. When I open Samsung pay I get a message that says a software update is required. When I click the update button, Samsung pay closes and I get a pop up that says unfortunately Samsung pay had stopped. I am on OC3.

You need to be on OG9 for Samsung Pay to work.
Installed Samsung Pay from the Play Store but had problems validating my American Express credit card. When I tried to activate, I got a message that a validation code had been sent to my email and I needed to enter that code into the Samsung Pay app to get validated. However, it took so long for the code email to arrive that I think the app timed out and gave me a message that the code was invalid. This repeated 5 or 6 times and eventually I was told to validate by calling American Express. This worked.
