It's Because Cyanogenmod doesn't support Internet pass through option..
I TRIED A LOT OF ROMS found that only sense based roms contain internet pass through available
other methods did n `t work with me

Hey all, had a question for you..I have the Metro PCS Galaxy S3 and am running cm 10..today I updated to the latest nightly build and now the programming is messed up..internet still works, but my phone number isnt correct..any way to resolve this issue? Any help would be appreciated

As u mentioned u flashed or updated to latest nightly of cm10 , U should know dat nightly are very unstable packages with lot of bugs they are jst for dev's and not for daily use purpose , U should again flash ur phone to latest stable cm10

I'll try that..though I remember looking for stable and didnt seem to see one..also without touchwiz you cant use the keypad to program it manually..so not sure flashing any cm10 will help

Found a stock rom..
Ok well found a stock Rom..and put that on..would of reprogrammed it myself but didnt have my MIN# so called Metro and got them to do it..problem solved

I am using EOS3 rom (4.1.1) on my TF101 now.
Looking for a newer rom (preferably 4.1.2) with 3G usb modem support.
Can I get some suggestions ?
Also, I'd like to test 3G modem support on the current rom if possible before changing rom. How can I test that ?
I'd appreciate any suggestions.

I've heard that at least 4.0 roms have it, and with a correct kernel, 4.1 roms may have it.
is that wrong ?
Part of the issue is that the TF101G never made it beyond 4.0, so native support may never get there until the TF101G gets 4.1.X.
But, I guess I don't understand the issue with using pppwidget to get 3G functionality with a ROM vs having it baked into the ROM.
I have no problem with using pppwidget. It's ok; I already tried it on my current rom.
The thing is, I am also looking for a new rom. So just suggest me a new rom and I'll use it with pppwidget.
Also, I believe, there should be ROMs that support 3G because on several Android tablets (like Ainol), I see the 3G connectivity settings to use with a 3G modem.
So it shouldn't be hard to integrate if it's not already included in CM10 ?

the last rom to have support was megatron ICS. None since then. no combination of kernel or whatever can make it work past ics unless the devs specifically work on it.

For example sending and receiving SMS is not working with pppwidget. It is with 3g in Rom (like Megatron).
Also 3g watchdog not reconizing 3G traffic with pppwidget as 3g.
I have a weird problem in my ace plus... My phone connects to wifi network but when i browse it doesn't works.. When i search something on google it works well but when i use facebook it keeps on loading for a long time and at last give error connection timed out. If i use static ip same problem google works but cannot browse facebook...
But now i installed cm10 by the Whisp and the wifi works without any error i can use google facebook or any other sites its working fine..:laugh::laugh:
This wifi problem is only with gingerbread roms both stock and custom roms :crying::crying::crying:
So is there any solution for it????? Since it works in cm10 but not is gb roms i don't think its the hardware fault..
so if anyone can help me please do reply..

I have tried all custom gb roms available and stock gb roms too but all with same result
but in cm10 everything works no problem at all:good::good::good::good:
Happened with me too.. i flashed a custom rom and problem solved!!:good:

but you can increase in Gb too by tweaks

I can fully recommend carbon rom with weekly updates. Also omnirom wich is similar.
Rock solid performance with carbon, very few bugs. Stable!

Nope those are broken.
wouldn't mind trying out carbon Rom my self but can't get it too flash in twrp
I recomning Omni it lives on the better edge even some parts are a bit out of date, but in return it have better drivers and better kernel.
does any of the stock roms work anymore as ive been trying to boot a few but never boot up just stops on the boot animation

Yes you can still root your phone without unlocking bootloader.
Few months in now I thought development would have gone a bit faster than this. I have to doubt we'll have a large collection now. But can anyone say what rom they have been using. And has anyone tried dirty unicorns? Whats that like? Cant fjnd any vids on youtube
I made a guide and compiled AOSP, with the edition of certain proprietary files that unlock various stock features. I posted it here. Unofficial Lineage works reasonably well too.

Mainly it allows T mobile VoLTE and WiFi calling to work, and I suspect allows it to work on other services too. Also hopefully will get the eSIM to work too.
