Perfect Android is a redistribution of the Android Open Source Project and Google software code that I have lightly modified to make as a daily driver for myself that I'm sharing with the community. This project doesn't have and won't focus on adding a ton of features and mods but instead focus on stability, and reliability so yes basically this is a stock like rom but not just stock my only efforts will be to make it run better, and be more polished, and complete.

If you have an error or something pops up I ask that before you post about it please make sure that you are running the ROM as provided. I cannot troubleshoot anything that is related to using other kernels, mods, or themes.
This ROM is basically like a stock rom of jelly bean so there is not a need for screen shots ........
Always remember that XDA started out as a great place and will remain a great place as long as we are great to each other anything used in this ROM is available upon request and feel free to use this as a base rom for any other project my ROM is un-branded just give me some mention .......
WANT TO CUSTOMIZE THIS ROM READ THIS:
Like the ROM and want to add or remove anything or customize for yourself use this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=633246 DSIXDA's Kitchen. Its a great kitchen for customizing prebuilt ROMs

Google - I used their apps
AOSP - of course
Probably gonna add a changelog here
AOSP 4.2 ROM so quickly? That will be interesting
Can you have some screenshots?
yep its uploaded
it looks just like stock I built it to be at least as good as what you get from google if everything is working correctly that is when I will begin modifying but for now it looks like the stock ROM so I didn't think screenshots would be needed
first of all you have to give us changelog, then i'll flash it, because now i don't know exactly what are the differences between Your rom and stock, so is it worth flash it?

Its solely up to you guys if you want to flash it as this is an expensive hobby for me I'm just sharing what I do with the community so is it worth it, for me yeah, for you I really don't care, I hope I'm not coming off as an ass but I have to draw a line somewhere. I not making any claims with this ROM I just sharing it if you use it fine if not fine, I don't get into the whole screenshots large claims huge changelog thing I just post and share I also maintain this ROM for the Sprint Galaxy Nexus which it has done just fine so if you want you can do a search here and see what and where I come from .......
I'm very happy when see any new rom in N7 development, because nexus need fresh look from developers, so i was thinking that You could push some new tweaks into ours devices. Almost all roms here are just "cleaned" or "minimalistic" or "performanced" in real these rom are almost stock with the same user experience. So do not get angry when I want to know if there will be something more here...
Does it work with twrp?
After flash with twrp, I see the information is Android 4.2 JOP40C. I dont know whether it is flashed or not?
I will happily try your rom to see how it compares to CleanRom, give my feedback tomorrow

I'm not getting angry with you in fact I agree however, regardless of how you feel about those roms someone still put that effort into them. Honestly for me the N7 is a new device and before I go making claims that my ROM can start your car and end world hunger I want to make sure that it at least meets stock standards. AOSP has done a lot of work to somewhat remove google entries in their code so it has taken me a few days to re-build AOSP code to work correctly with G-APPS and other Google code I do NOT claim to be an over the top developer I just do this as a pastime I have certain things that I do not like and thats why I have started making my own ROMs so that I always get what I want. Now I can tell you this and I know this as a fact THIS IS NOT A WINZIP KITCHEN ROM IT IS BUILT FROM SOURCE it took hella work to get it up to a win zip ROM and thats where we're at so far lol. When I learn all the changes to the 4.2 coding I will start to add small feature to my ROM.

haven't checked for myself but is leankernel updated for 4.2
Since Oxygen is out for Oneplus one is anyone porting this soon to our phone? It has built in DT2W and other gestures
Gestures are done with the kernel, not the ROM.
Porting the ROM as a whole is ultimately pointless - just use any custom ROM, which probably has all the features + more anyways.

But i think it would be nice to have both OxOS and Cm12S to our phones. Im sure both will be ported soon even know one is based off of 5.0.2

Also, see my quote below.
Elluel said:
First of all, porting firmware from one device to another is extremely unlikely to function properly. If you can even get it to boot (the hardest part), a LOT will be broken as it was not built relevant to the hardware. Porting a custom ROM is even more pointless when it can be built specifically for your device.
OxygenOS has not been released yet, but it's likely to have features that other custom ROMs already have/can easily replicate.
Porting "CM12S" from the OnePlus One to the Nexus 5 is ultimately pointless. CM12 can be built from source anyways, then you can just take the few additional extra apk files from CM12S and paste them in.

Check the link for latest updates for EU ROM, posted in the Guide.
I've updated to 7.1 19 and I can confirm that it is stable. No issues noticed so far. There wont be updates for the next two weeks until the Spring festival is over in China.

Use Epic Rom instead. The Dev uses the 7.1.19 base for his rom but he made it compatible with TWRP

Nah, no offense to the Dev but after a long history of flashing custom roms I have come to the conclusion that they are almost always, worse.

Well, CyanogenMod was a custom OS\ROM\Whatever you'd like to call it, but it wasn't something that most phones shipped with. And it turned out to be the most preferred Custom Android ROM, with custom ROMS being based on CM.
I would close my eyes and buy a device if I knew it had official support for CM (LineageOS). I bet most people would.
Apart from issues with their management and rebranding to LineageOS, I don't see what's bad or "worse" with it. Just saying that "Worse" is a strong way to put it.
I do agree that some custom ROMS, no matter how stable have a few bugs\drawbacks occasionally, but so does the stock ROMS.
It is custom ROMS that use a lot of MODS which are generally more prone to stability issues. By mods, I'm referring to certain features like Bravia Engine\ Dolby Atmos ported from another device.
I cant comment on the EPIC ROM as I haven't tried it. But from what other users are saying here, it seems to be a pretty decent and stable ROM, despite having a few extra MODS.

That's why I said almost always. CM and PA were two that could be relied upon for stability.

Is not avalaible!
My carrier/MVNO is Cricket/ATT. Phone is Honor 6x with EMUI 5. Bootloader unlocked and rooted.
I need to find a stable, everything working, ROM that will also bypass wifi hotspot authentication.
Can anyone point me to what I am looking for?
Thank you!
At the moment, it's really difficult to advise a perfectly stable rom for using it as daily driver, by my PERSONAL point of view. Even if all ROMs are marked as "stable" in OP, browse their relative threads to read some about and make yourself an idea of what you'd like to run as daily driver. There are some bugs, while some of them is common in all the ROMs due to lack of source files, others are rom related only. I immediately look to new roms inserted in this section and until now, I'm still on stock against my motivation to going on custom. The roms that I'm monitoring at the moment are LineageOS, AOSP, OctOS, and crDroid.
Reassuming, i just still miss that feeling of safety that motivates me to going on one of the roms listed here actually; this is my only one phone, and messing up bad would be a real pain in the ***, even if I've done much experience about recovering a bricked phone due various motives, Huawei is a complicated world. Plus, custom camera quality is still incomparable to stock camera quality, so I'll stay on stock for a while, monitoring progresses on custom development. Hope to see the common bugs fixed, sooner or later... devs are surely working hard, and custom development on 6X meshed much lately, so the best has yet to come, developers are making all this just for free, so I'm looking forward for updates
Add this line to the build.prop
net.tethering.noprovisioning=true
I have not yet been able to find a ROM for the 6x that is stable enough for daily driver use. In fact, I've run in to issues even installing most of them. Currently unlocked/rooted on EMUI and even my reflash to stock was broken and EMUI ROM is missing things. I regret buying this phone.
Edit: To clarify, that is the phone's fault. Not the Devs. The Devs are doing the best they can with what they've got.
Been on eliterom for awhile now and its rock solid.

Has it been verified that this works on the 6x? In my research I thought I read where that does not work on the 6x.......But I'll give it a go!

If it's there, delete the ATTEntitle folder in /system/app
Thanks for all the info and help everyone. Unfortunately nothing has worked yet.
The ATTEntitle folder does not exist. That is the mod that worked on my Honor 5x which is Android 5 EMUI 4.1 So my plan is to flash the Honor 6x back to Firmware Berlin-L24HN, C567B110, Android 6.0_EMUI 4.1 US and then delete ATTEntitle.
I have nothing to do with the ROM.
I just happened to find it available to download at the usual Android file hosting spot.
I'm not a tester or affiliated in any way.
I will not post links out of respect for the dev's.
But if you've been around, then you know the usual places to look and how to find ROM's.
-----------------------------
Bootlegger's ROM
They usually base on GZOSP?
Placing a phone call reboots phone. I believe that's a known issue on all custom ROM's ATM.
Tried installing opengapps but while the zip doesn't have any errors during install, nothing got installed. I think that's another known issue across the board.
What's nice though is Bootlegger's already has a bunch of customization options built in. :good:
Center clock option obviously doesn't work too well (hello stoopid notch).
Steps to install ROM
Boot to TWRP
Install ROM.zip
Install TWRP.zip (because ROM install removes it)
Reboot and play

If you know the Dev, let them know about DU trees.
There's no such issues on dirty unicorn.
It kind of defeats the purpose of having a phone if every time you get a call the phone reboots! I'm grateful that work is being done on custom ROMs but at this time, at least to me is a no go if I can't receive a phone call on my phone. After all, that's why I have a phone. Also, is there a link? I don't see one on the OP.
No link because it's considered rude to post links to a devs work without their permission.
I'm sure when the ROM is ready for prime-time, they will post a thread for it over in the ROM section?
I read in another section that Hangouts phone works on these new ROM's devs are building/tinkering with right now.

Most maintainers don't like releasing a build until most important things work such as ril, volte, mms, etc etc.

No idea.
I built it, everything was working perfectly. Did not find any issues at all, and was using it until yesterday's December images dropped.
