i'd just flash the official firmware for JB via sd card.
If that fails to fix the screen see if any points work as it may be the touch bug where it needs a large amount of force to acknowledge anything till you go > sett > display > touch sensetivity > high

I updated to 2.0 and flashed the new firmware....All went well for me. Maybe flash the whole thing again? Possibly do a wipe?

Thanks for taking time to look all, I changed from cwm touch to non touch and reflashed the iconian firmware and upon reboot it showed updating ebt . not sure why it made a difference but its now working again. Thanks again all.

[Q] SERIOUS HELP freezing

I flashed JB on my gt-n8013, and then i wanted to return back to ICS as Kno doesn't want to run. So i downloaded the GT-N8013 from Sammobile and flashed it in.
But when it's rebooting it's kept hanging on Samsung logo and doesnt want to run. what can i do. Help please

try re-flashing.. or re-downloading the file... it might be corrupted
Well you need to boot into recovery and do a comple wipe unfortuantely you will lose all data
I would suggest to you that if you redownload the rom and it still does not work then you should try out a different rom, because it seems like you may have downloaded a rom for a similar tablet and now find yourself running into issues.

I Reflashed again JB UK 4.1.1 and it's working fine, but i can't switch back to ICS GT-N8013. I'm in exams' period and some of my studies on Kno :S and i can't get it working, i contacted them and told me they're still working on a JB version :S
Thanks all
Boot to recovery Factory reset .
Flash stock ICS rom via Odin .

You will loose ALL data on internal card so back up before doing this...

I'm having the exact same problem could you please post a direct link to the package that finally worked, what flags did you check in odin?
What he did was went from JB to JB for 8010 when JB to ICS did not work so he did not get it to work
Unfortunately there is no workaround when you go from JB to ICS you need to do a complete wipe to make it work

[Q] Touch screen not working after software upgrade

I have an LG P920 and after I tried out the official 4.04 (installed with LG flashtools) and after the upgrade (which was a success) my touch screen is not working.
I tried the following instructions:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1244490
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1942836
I eve tried this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1629307
It is common that I was able to do the recoveries as they are in the guides, so all three recovery attempts was successful, but after the first boot the touchscreen was not working with any version. For the last time I used LG Mobile Phone Update tool and used phone recovery mode to get back the official SW version for my IMEI. The process was a success, my phone recovered to the original SW version, but the touch screen is still not working.
If someone has an idea what to do or try it, it would be highly appreciated.
MOD: because there is no answer yet I just ask: it is possible that some software elements which are not part of the upgrading or recovering image is the reason why my touch screen is not working? For example the bootloader or the recovery or fastboot, or anything? Maybe there is a part of the phone which is not recovered properly, but I just guessing.

I really exhausted all my options, did all the recovery and resurrection guides, all of it was a success but my touch screen is still not working.

Your display isn't working whatever you do, right?
Maybe it's the obvious.
I mean if all of your flashing was a success than there must be a hardware problem.
I hope I'm wrong...
Try ressurection guide to go back to GB and if that doesn't work...
Money=new display

The cheapest digitizer on ebay is 17$ so it's not that much as a last resort.

I'am doing it the second time but now after successfully flashing V21E and after that using V21E recovery (as in the guide) I got constant bootloop (LG logo), and I cannot get it out from bootloop with flashing the same V21E to it the third and forth time. I know bootloop means reflash the device but I don't think this is going to solve the problem.
Factory reset.

Did that too still bootlooping.
MOD: I did everything according to your guide, all of the steps were done successfully, but after it, there is only bootloop and the recovery is not accessible either.
MOD2: it is interesting because I tried to install several GB versions beside the v21E and it seems all of it has the same bootloop issue after flashing. If I put up an ICS variant like CM10 or one of the official roms (with ICS bootloader) they all boot up but the touchscreen is not working even with the official ROMs.

Here I have the same problem. No touch screen on ICS.
To downgrade to GB I had to flash a corean froyo v10g .bat first. For example w.ww.wuala.com/Xafalo/LG%20P92...est%20Bin.rar
After I flashed v21e, all OK.
I updated with the oficial LG software and all was successful to install ICS, but my touch screen is not working...
Additionaly, in the TWRP recovery on ICS bootloader, the touch screen is not working
Josemi
simply a duplicate touch change your touch....
I have identical problem. No touch screen. I try a new glass digitizer touch screen, but no work. My lg is not for sale

Try to flash this rom
with the same tools in this Thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2337545

Tablet stuck after battery died

First of all, thanks for all the hard work you guys do.
I have a problem with my tf101 running a Cyanomod. I tried searching on the forum, but there are so many keywords i don't even know how to input a proper query, so sorry if the problem has already been covered.
My tf101 was working just fine, i mounted a new rom (a nightly based on Jelly Bean 4.1.2), everything was nice and smooth, until one day i forgot to plug the charger to my tablet. The battery ran down to 0%, the first time it ever happened. Since then, everytime i try to power my tablet it gets stuck on the cyanogenmod rotating logo. I have to force reboot it several times before it starts working again, even if the battery id completely charged.
The first time it happened i tried wiping all data as well as the cache, i also tried reinstalling the rom but the only thing that seemed to work was reverting to a stable rom and then installing the nightly. Until the battery accident, everything was perfect.
Why is this happening? Is there a way to fix it?

So does you tablet boot into Android or not?
Because you have TF101 not G or Slider, you can NVflash the tablet to stock and try everything from beginning (root, custom recovery...).
Link to NVflash method
Sincerely,
Žiga

Yeah it does, but only after countless attempts. If i do nothing and let it go, it gets stuck on the cyanogen logo forever.
I will try your solution and let you know, thanks.
Which recovery are you using ?
TWRP is the one to use, CWM has issues

Reverted to stock

Hi all, I decided I'd return my tf101 to ASUS stock firmware from TeamEos 4.2. So I duly flashed the f/w and all seemed to take OK, until I rebooted, the tf got stuck at the Android is updating stage, I tried reflashing everything but no good. This is not a request for help but more of a WTF. I have it working now thanks to NVFlash but I would like to understand why my first effort didn't work.
Different bootloader for JB, perhaps.

[SOLVED][Q] [HELP NEEDED] :Phone won't go past lock screen (Cannot unlock the screen)

Hello everyone.
I have a Motorola Atrix 2 (AsiaRetail).
I was using the Leaked JB on it for a while and because of the bugs and bloatware, thought about moving to ICS.
I flash GB FXZ with RSD Lite and after that did an OTA update on it.
Then I installed BMM (through play store app) and then flashed MOKEE on SYSTEM 3.
Thats it.. !!
After that my phone was stuck at MOTO logo and whatever I tried couldn't make it to boot.
This time I downloaded the ASIARETAIL ICS FXZ file and flashed it using RSDLITE.
Now the phone boots up, flashes the Google Account signing page for a fraction of a second and then go back to lock screen.
Tried flashing it again, cleaned cache / data / factory reset through the stock recovery etc.
I was searching for a while but in vain.
Can anyone help us on this ?
SOLVED
Hi All,
Seems I have found an answer to this
If anyone is seeing this issue and breaking their head over this, please try again with SIM INSERTED.
Yes that was the EFFING problem

Kexec ROMs can run on ICS as well as JB Leak Kernels.
