I'm using 4.1.2 and rooted, I want to install CM10 as I heard its faster ?
Is it worth installing or should I just install a custom kernel and over clock ?

Hello Guys. I want to know as of now, which is the stable Jelly Bean ROM for TIPO? Can i install a JB ROM using stock Kernel? or how will i come to know which kernel should i use for a particular ROM? Thanks in advance.
U can't install JB with stock kernel.
But inorder to get a nice looking phone try ZNXT V5 ROM.
U need root and CWM only.

for now the most stable rom is fxp221....you cant use stock kernel with cm10....i hope that in the future we will be able to use stock and vergeance

Here is a flash zip of the stock kernel from Google edition 4.2.2
Its very smooth and fast and it runs just fine on the latest tw firmware mga.
Camera (slo motion) wifi etc is working.

Do not flash this on a aosp rom. Only for TW/Google edition roms.

This is pure stock.
I don't know if bootloader is locked or not, how do I check?
Also, I'm using a stock android 4.1. Is it safe to install cm 10.1? Can it brick my tab 10.1?
No u will not face any problems. Cuz u already have jellybean bootloader if u running stock 4.1.x.
