Root via stock recovery

Is there any way we can root our phones using the custom recovery? Galaxy tab 7.7 on ics can be rooted this way.Can such flashable superSU.zip files can b created for gb???

I just bought a Galaxy tab 2 7.0 wifi (P3110) it came with 4.1.1 can you suggest which one should i upgrade to

i have downloaded (from P3110 Stock Prerooted Rom 4.1.2 ) both these firmwares but want to upgrade to the one which has newer features for example multiwindow and inkeffect.

No of these will have multiwindow... It is basicly the Same Firmware

Screen mess up on start-up/boot

I've flashed my SGT2 with CM 10.1 NIGHTLY and have tried carbon ROM too, but the screen flickering between Samsung logo and cyanogenmod logo :screwy:
Someone who have this issue? Or know what it is?

On which rom did you flashed cm????
If on 4.0.4 try first flashing jelly bean bootloader or jelly bean stock Rom and then cm!!!!!

I've flashed from 4.0.4 stock ROM
Where to find the bootloader? I run ClockworkMod

[GT-P3100] Can not flash CyanogenMod 10.1

Why I can not flash CyanogenMod 10.1 on my Galaxy Tab 2 (I try out more than only Cyanogen roms only rom what I got flashed was Ripper Rom and it sucks)

I can use ODIN but I'm pretty unfamiliar with it

Use latest cwm or Philz or twrp.

Can i flash New CWM or did I need use ODIN3

You can flash it and it'll overwrite the previous version.
