ICS WEBTOP on ATRIX 4G LAPDOCK - Motorola Atrix 2

As in the topic, I just crossed over to the darks side from Atrix 4G and since I have a ATRIX 4G lapdock I attempted to use it with ATRIX 2.
Of course you have to flip the ports which is by itself a 15 minute job however what I am getting now is a webtop on ATRIX 4G (webtop 3) however the screen is queezed vertically so it does not cover the whole screen. Does anybody know if there is a solution to that issue? If not, will Photon lapdock properly work with ATRIX 2 on OTA ICS?
Thanks in advance...
I am on OTA ICS on ATRIX 2 (US/AT&T)

The ICS leak's kernel doesn't support lapdock's resolution... Yet.

Oh ! Well great for you. I think the old Lapdock is working with the Atrix 2 but I can't confirm that.

Is this the same with the multimedia dock?

Webtop works on my old (photon's) lapdock, Swiftytrix rom

september, hmmm. just in time for the attain and i5(presumably, though those phones might be more like november for all we know), also the captivate will wait for the infuse to get the update, just like i said months ago. i wish they would just push updates asap instead of trying to control market values of the devices. who cares if the captivate comes with 2.3 and is similar to the infuse. if all the devices on the shelves had the newest possible update all the time then wouldnt all the current devices be more valuable? the vibrant didnt get 2.2 till after the sgs4g came out, im getting tired of this game, we know samsung can write the firmware, why cant they push it out on the current devices and make new devices more valuable by just making the next phone that much better?

How do you figure? If I still owned an Atrix I'd be pissed off if the Infuse got an update before the Atrix did considering the Atrix has been out longer.
Fudge! I want it and I want it now!!!

Maybe because they're doing it in the order the phones came out this year? It's only fair, they've been waiting much longer than we have.
Do we really need to wait for the ATT GB update? Ain't the Roger's Infuse coming out with GB and all we need to wait is for someone to dump it and devs can get right on it.
Great news for captivate owners! Gingerbread is coming! Lol
What I wanna know is, will we be getting 2.3.3, or 2.3.4?
I hear the latter is better

Pretty sure they're 2.3.3, that's what the Atrix got anyway...and that's what the Rogers one has.

There's hope for ICS on G2X - ACER ICONIA TAB A200

It looks like the Tegra 2 isn't dead, yet.
ACER is selling the ICONIA TAB A200 which has a Tegra 2 T20 in it and has promised ICS will be available for it in February. That means it will have Tegra 2 drivers which may be hackable for the Tegra 2 AP20H SOC in cell phones including the G2X.
http://www.netbooknews.com/43549/acer-iconia-tab-a200-with-official-ice-cream-sandwich-hands-on/
Is it the same Tegra 2 chip inside our G2x? I remember a dev saying that there's different ones, like how the one in the Tab 10.1 is harmony based, but ours isn't.
The Motorola Atrix 4G which has the same Tegra as ours, has a Public Beta Released CM9.
The Iconia A200 uses the Harmony.

Where's the CM9 Public Beta for the Motorola Atrix 4G? I looked on the Cyanogen website and couldn't find it. If Cyanogen has a Public Beta for that phone, wouldn't they also be able to continue development for the other Tegra 2 phones? Also, Motorola isn't updating that phone to ICS: https://forums.motorola.com/pages/00add97d6c

That's interesting. I see on github.com https://forums.motorola.com/pages/00add97d6c that the alpha 5 was 23 hours ago (now 1 day ago). Has it progressed to beta? As well, if they've solved the audio problem why hasn't Cyanogen?
Do we really have to look to a tablet for our drivers? Is the G2x the only tegra 2 phone out right now?

The other two "big" phones with the same version of Tegra 2 are the Atrix 4G and the Droid X2. We have the model number: Tegra 250 AP20H which I believe is Harmony.
I think its just a matter of time. Someone will end up tweaking those drivers and start making it work. Got this phone 2 months ago i hope we get some support. I cant afford to buy a sgs2 because im in contract.

I think a lot of people lost hope for this device cause of tmobiles eol announcement. As long as there are developers with this phone, I think we will be ok.

Doubt it. I think the Tegra in this Iconia is the same as the one in the tab 10.1, which isn't the same as the G2x. So nothing can be done to my understanding.

buying atrix 2

hi i am thinking of buying an atrix 2 for my gf, i was wondering if the atrix 2 can be bootloader unlocked. and alsoe is there an cm9 or 10 rom for this?
Your gf likes flashing custom ROMs? Anyway, I bought mine two weeks ago and I'm enjoying it. Nice screen, good call quality and decent cam. The bootloader is not unlocked. CM10 ports are under development one by a Chinese team and one by a US team.

Haven't had the best experience with it so far myself but it is definitely cheap, but maybe for a reason. Bootloader is locked. Has a few roms, and officially has ICS, no word on JB and I doubt we'll get it from Motorola. CM10 is looking pretty good tho.
Atrix 2 design is a bit workman like, if you ask me. Perhaps you want something pretty / feminine for your lady?

Ubuntu on Razr HD?

I have seen that ubuntu is now available on phone, and i really liked how it looked.
And i think it would be great to run it.
But i dont know how well it would run on my phone.
Has anybody installed ubuntu on their razr hd?
How does it feel, does it work.
I think ubuntu would work perfectly on the razr hd since it has no buttons and that what i think ubuntu on phones is all about.
Any help is apreciatted.
Btw this is my first post.
Wasnt too sure where to post it

Isn't the first release only for the GNex and its mostly for development... consumer release will come later in 2013 or 2014 (according to Android authority)

Hey guys!
Does anyone know if there is a Ubuntu port for the Razr HD in progress?
I dont find any information about ubuntu and the razr
Why are so many devices already supported but not yet a sign from the razr hd?
Locked bootloader probably. This does have one right?

it has but you can unlock it - as far as i know.
are there any other problems that may prevent the razr to get ubuntu?

The n7 is already fully supported by ubuntu... to be exact all recent nexus devices. First step for a successful port is a cm10.1 kernel for the target device. It does not need to be full blown, as a lot of functions aren't neccessary for Ubuntu, and requires some modification. (e.g. no Dalvik - theres no VM eh )
